Friendly staff. Spacious, clean room, comfy bed and nice balcony. Includes the essential amenities like a kettle and mini fridge. Great location, especially if you have a bike/moped. Close enough to town but far enough away from all the noise, and still within walking distance of just about everything, gyms, supermarkets and pub street. Also a fair few cafes all on the same street.

Only 2 small issues was the bathroom had a minor ant problem. Not completely infested but always a few running along the walls. And the other issue was the air con wasn’t very effective. Still a bit too hot on the lowest temp. Other than that I’ve got no complaints and would recommend this hotel.

I had 2 rooms here for staff. One of them wasnt good, but this one was very good. I hired it for 3-4 weeks in total. The other room I had for 1 day. This room was one step up from the cheapest one. and it was great. Lovely bath for the hot weather. cheapest room didnt have a bath and the toilet was open to the room as the glass only goes up 2 meters then opens to the bedroom. so every fart is audible to the whole room. for the sake of a dollar or so extra. go one step up from the cheapest.

this reservation was great. no negatives.

I am very happy with my stay here. The room I was given was very spacious, clean, quiet, with working air conditioning, a small fridge, and a livable bathroom. For the price paid, exceptional value. The location of the hotel is excellent, located on a quiet street and close to everything. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The room is not cleaned daily but should be agreed upon based on the length of stay. The pool is ok, not memorable but a quiet environment to relax in and loungers available for guests. The hotel is not modern but is perfectly functional, I don't see what the problem is that many others have complained about.

Good location, 15 minute safe walking distance to market and riverside areas. Staff always friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at this hotel and also extended my stay on this occasion with extra 2 nights. Asian and Western menu options for Breakfast and Dinner. Laundry only 2 mins away. Same day service. Free coffee and water bottle top up always available in reception area.

Everything! The location is great, the hotel is like an old palace with beautiful gardens, swimming pool, and a bar with delicious food and drinks!. Also, the proximity to main attractions, river, pop street…etc. Finally and most important, the humble and welcoming staff !! The provided the room 3 hours prior to check in time (subject to availability), and welcomed me to use the hotel’s facilities (including pool and towels) for 6 hours after check out… Highly recommended for people like to walk!!

Its an absolutely beautifull hotel very conviently located, I love the many plants and trees. I had an amzing room with everything that I needed, the staff was very helpfull. there was a pool and a restaurant that I wish I had time to use, I would have to do so a next time.

I liked it there is nothing to say I didn't like! They didn't have a laundy service but that was perfeclty fine, there is one called "mom laundry" about 5 min walking distance. That costs less than 1 dollar (aud) and I've never had such beautifull smelling and clean clothes.

The room and bathroom were very large. Locally made toiletries were provided which were really good quality. There was refillable water in the lobby. The room was cleaned and cleaning was provided every few days. The sitting area outside the room had a fan which was nice in the heat of the day. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The pool was clean and good temperature. There were plenty of lounge chairs as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a shorter or longer stay in Siem Reap.

Only downside was the unreliability of the internet. While this is not uncommon in Cambodia it was an issue for us because we also couldn't get great cell service in the room.

Overall a good hotel especially for the price we paid What was nice - the location as you can easily walk to the centre of Siem Reap + it's super calm, the staff (nice and comprehensive), and the size of the rooms as well

We had a leakage in our bathroom - tried to tell the staff but I think there was a language barrier, they never fixed it but as we stayed only 4 days we managed it + the pillows are rock hard, but I had the same experience everywhere in Cambodia so far so maybe it's a local thing - the only not so nice point is that the hotel offers to book you a $25 or $30 taxi from the airport - however the prices on grab or even when you arrive are much much lower (we paid $12).. so they probably get a good commission on it, not the best first impression we had

Lovely hotel where we spent 5 nights. On arrival they sent a message offering their transfer from the airport but also informing us on other possibilities. We decided to use the airport shuttle and they provided free of charge transportation from the shuttle terminal to the hotel. The staff was wonderful, helpful and patient with any request we had. We booked some tours with them and all went perfect. The swimming pool is wonderful to cool down after touring temples. The location is very nice, in a very lively neighborhood, walking distance from some attractions. At first we were a little disappointed with the room that had only one window facing a building, but they changed it instantly. We ended up loving the new room: very large, excellent bed, great air-conditioning, a safe and very good toletries provided. We especially loved Oden, the reception cat. Our staying was indeed memorable! If we go back to Siem Reap Den Hotel Totonou will be our home again.

Spacious and clean rooms with large bed and bathroom. Really liked the pool area and the friendly bartender made good cocktails. And I liked the self service style approach to getting new towels, loo roll etc whenever you needed them. The hotel is only a short walk from main areas like Bar Street and has many food options around, but it's far enough away that it was quiet at night. They had also prepared a really nice birthday welcome for my friend in another room which she really appreciated - thank you!

The towels were quite worn and in need of replacement. The hot water supply wasn't reliable in our room, although the staff were helpful and my friend in another room had no problems.
