Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The beautiful room, the comfortable beds, the ambiance, the amazingly nice and professional staff, the decor, the pool, the location, the Cafe,… Everything was perfect and beyond!

From the minute we arrived and throughout the staff were amazing. They were polite friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is lovely, it has a real open air feeling with lots of greenery and it has two great pools. It is in an excellent location in the centre of Siem Reap. The extras made it special though. You can easily hire the in-house remorques (tuk-tuks) with driver for a couple of hours or for the full day to go around the temples of Angkor to your own itinerary and at your own pace. Without any stress. The drivers were so friendly and helpful.

Amazing customer service! Sophie and some of the other girls helped me organize my trips and gave me good restaurant recommendations! The hotel was extremely comfortable, served good breakfast and has an amazing rooftop pool!

The Aviary Hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was amazing as it was an easy flat walk to Pub Street, all the markets, and the riverfront. There were also heaps of restaurants and shops nearby. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic (and needed after long days in extreme heat at the temples). Bed was super hard and uncomfortable to us as we love a softer bed, but hard beds are standard in SE Asia. Food was fantastic in the breakfast buffet and the cafe (shoutout to the lovely cafe staff and their delicious chocolate chip cookies). Our room was super spacious and extremely clean. Great shower pressure and cool crisp bedding. The two pool options were great as the courtyard one was really cool and shady for most of the day, which is refreshing, while the rooftop one was a great vibe and fabulous for when you wanted some sun. Both pools have nice step access, which is greatly appreciated! All of the staff were so kind, professional, and always helpful.

Temperature of the air conditioning in the breakfast room could be cooler or some fans added as some days it was very hot and stuffy in there. It would also be great to have the fans in the outdoor foyer turned on sometimes. They were always turned off which made it very hot and stuffy during checkin and checkout

Beautiful, bright, modern room with lovely design. All staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful, no matter what the request. The location couldn't be better - close to Pub Street (but far enough away), but most importantly close to the river and all the restaurants and shops along it. We were about a 15 minute Tuk Tuk drive away from Angkor Wat, making it easy to access for our sunrise. I was pleasantly surprised to find two swimming pools and a gym which enhanced our stay as there was something to do during the hot, hot afternoons in March when viewing the temples would have been too much for us. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, buffet style with a made to order choice of eggs, rice, noodles, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day! Love the focus on sustainability and that you can drink the tap water and that glass water bottles are provided. This alone would make us stay again.
