All the staff was amazing, Sean and George go above and beyond in managing all the tours and trips you could ever ask for the sunset tour was one of my favourite trips to see Cambodian culture and people and the wake park trip is a wonderful way to spend a hot sunny day and being able to enjoy the nightlife with a guide makes your trip a more complete and comfortable visit the management team works hand in hand with the staff to be flexible to all the guests needs, wants, and desires creating events, party’s and tours all in all a wonderful place to stay at while exploring siem reap

- staff were amazing (Rem, Cian, Tevy, Lola to mention a few) - pool area was nice and clean and the food was quite good - rooms itself were spacious enough - location was very central, close to the river & pub street - bar prices were good and always a bit of craic to be had by night - you can do laundry, day trips and excursions through the hostel, which is nice!

- shower drain kept blocking & bumgun used leak 24/7, making the bathroom wet. - room wasn’t cleaned throughout our 3 day stay, however if you needed anything, it was happily provided. - lighting in room is poor enough! - they’re only small things though, and overall, we had a brilliant stay!

This place is such a vibe! I really enjoyed my time here and I stayed a lot longer than 3 nights. I stayed till 5th June. I would highly recommend as a solo traveller as it’s so sociable. They have live music next door where you can get a pizza and the pizza is goood. They also have a beauty salon where you can get your hair or nails done. I would highly recommend the sunset tour. I did that 3 times and loved it. I have stayed in the dorms, family room and private room and had no problems. The staff are all super friendly and probably one of the best hostels I have stayed in Siem Reap.

Mattress in the private room was not a spring mattress. Prices of food were a little high. Charge in Reil the Cambodian currency not USD, it is the main reason why I won't be returning to Cambodia until ALL LOCAL PEOPLE realise that they have a beautiful country and should ONLY support a LOCAL CURRENCY. I guess it's just human greed but created in this country's instance by THE EXPAT COMMUNITY of course the international tourists are also to blame for playing the game. Pay in REIL not USD

the all female dorm was huge, plenty is space to move around. the cleaning staff cleaned everyday although the bathroom was always wet due to the combined shower and toilet bathroom. they were very good cleaners though.

the all female dorm all of a sudden had male guests and that made me uncomfortable. I booked for all female bed so pls do not undermine women’s privacy. no one told us we will be rooming in with men! that’s unacceptable! and I had booked specific about all female dorm instead of mixed dorm. At least a curtain for its bunk should be installed! men coming and going into all female dorm should at least have more privacy but really, if you sold us all female form then it should be all female ONLY!

Good ambience. Very good location. It was nice to be there during the Khmer New Year. Lots of chilling areas too. Bar staff was awesome.

The only thing that I didn’t appreciate was the non respect of the people sleeping in the dorm. Staff bringing new guests in at 1am and turning the lights on + talking loud when they can see that half of the dorm is already sleeping. Also cleaning staff coming in early to clean, when 90% of the dorm is still sleeping and making so much noise, having loud conversations etc… This plus the fact that other guests were also making so much noise and talking loud late and early in the morning while everyone was sleeping… I had bad sleep for my whole stay unfortunately. This was the only bad point for me, hopefully some efforts are made on this for the next guests 🙏

I really enjoyed the excursions. Sean, Lola, and Patricia organized a sunset tour. The tour involves visiting a village to view a beautiful image of the sunset with some drinks and snack. Sean, Lola and Patricia and Dylan were great organizers for all the events there and made staying at the hostel very enjoyable. I ended up extending for 5 days past my original time planned. If you enjoy meeting new people and partying I’d recommend this hostel.

Fun party hostel with lovely people and great value for money! We chilled by the pool every single day, had cheap drinks, and got to hang out with both other travellers as well as the employees of the hostel who go out of their way to organise activities for anyone wanting to join. We played drinking games, did sports at the pool and made cool connections. We had our own double room, with good AC. Walking distance to the centre of Siem Reap and with a great Italian restaurant on the street.

The bathroom was quite small and since the shower overlapped with the sink and toilet, the tiles got were wet after every shower (as such I fell and hurt myself once). We asked for a quite room but it´s pretty much impossible to get as the whole place is a party hostel. This is fine in itself since it´s advertised as a party place, but then the "quite room" option shouldn´t be advertised.

The Funky Village is simply Fantastic. The beds.. really comfortable. The rooms.. clean and spacious The staff..incredibly friendly and helpful. The food...fresh, large variety, perfectly cooked, well presented, available all day and half the night, and great value. The facilities..amazing! A large sparkling clean pool. Organised games with entertainment staff. A bar at the pool and a nightclub upstairs with gorgeous views, pool tables and a large shaded open deck to relax anytime. Organised tours to anything you want..Temples, markets, bike rides, waterfalls, Pub street night walking tours, Tuk Tuks, Mini-golf, cooking classes, etc. The property...sparkling clean at all times. Lots of funky seating areas on the spacious balconies and interesting architecture features. I love the murials everywhere. Atmosphere.. FUNky. There's a party every night, everyone is welcome too. Great music, cocktails, games and dancing. Need some alone time? That's totally respected. Value for money...Heck yes!! On top of everything listed already, a bed, per night, can cost as little as a couple of Aussie bucks. The friendships you will make are priceless.
