The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of the center of Siem Reap. There are many restaurants in the area and the main attraction - Ankor Wath is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk. The pool and garden are carefully maintained, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I recommend the hotel.

The breakfast is sufficient, you just have to choose whether you want a sweet or savory menu. You can't order an omelette and a pancake at the same time for breakfast for one person. It would also be good if the bar staff understood at least a little English, when ordering more than two things there was always a problem :), but it was nothing that couldn't be solved.

The location is fantastic. Right in the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap's vibrant center, with tons of bars, restaurants, etc. around. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with a nice charm. The pool area was solid, the restaurant area was also nice. The staff were generally helpful as well. Room was huge and generally comfortable.

There was water pooling on the floor in the toilet room and shower - we were told it was from the air conditioner but it wasn't ideal that it was always pooling / not fixed.

A truly delightful breakfast experience in a charming, picturesque setting right by the pool. The fresh dishes (in particular the cake) were perfectly paired with a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and delicious morning escape. Location was spot on! We didn’t need a tuktuk once during our stay—everything we wanted, from dinner to drinks, was within walking distance. Made exploring so easy and stress-free. The room was spacious and on the ground floor, super convenient. The hotel also helped us with scooter rentals, which was a great touch. Plus, there’s a laundry right next door, so we left with a fresh, clean suitcase—perfect!

The bed was a bit on the firm side for my taste. A soft top layer would definitely make it more comfortable, but it’s a minor thing compared to everything else.

Everything was great! We were warmly welcomed by Kim Hout who spoke great French (in addition to English of course), he has been so kind during our whole stay! The hotel itself is lovely and ideally located a few minutes walk away from the active part of the center with all the restaurants. It is very calm and the pool lovely. Breakfast was nice and you can even take it away for your early temple visits. Highly recommend!

We were grateful for the knowledge and kindness of the staff in looking after us and arranging our driver and trips to the temples and circus. Their recommendations for dinner we spot on. The pool and restaurant were lovely and the staff there too provided excellent service. We liked the modern, contemporary decor and comfort of the room. The location is good for walking to all amenities and the laundry service was useful.

Very nice, big, comfy and clean room. Twin room with two queen size beds. Tastefully decorated. Free water was restocked every day. For our sunrise Angkor Wat Tour the hotel prepared take away breakfast boxes for us. Great location in a quiet street, close to Pub Street and walkable to almost everything of interest. The leafy pool area is really nice, especially considering you are in the middle of a big city.

The breakfast options could be more varied, more fruit and veggies, better bread rolls. Loads of egg choices, but we were missing maybe yoghurt or cereals as alternatives. No cow milk alternatives for vegans available. Safe didn't work in our room, was not fixed during the weekend which was understandable, but even afterwards not until we left. Not a big issue, but nice for peace of mind, if you can lock your valuables.

It was lovely stay, room was great and specious, bed super comfortable, and whole property is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was really nice and kind, and you can use the pool whole night which is amazing as it was so hot during the stay. Of course you need to be quiet and respect other people if you use the pool after 10pm. The bar is closed after 10pm, but you are free to bring your drink if you like. The hotel is very well located, many bars and restaurants near by, but still quiet and relaxing.

The AC in the room could be much better, and the food was not as good as I would expect, it was very average, but that didn’t spoil overall impressions.

La Bastide de Caro is such a wonderful boutique hotel. Set in the most perfect location close to the markets and Pub Street but set back a little for some quite. The room are clean and large. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The food and drinks at the restaurant are delicious. Steven and his staff are incredibly helpful, personable and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend you stay. Such a great find and I hope to return one day.

The room was spacious with a balcony and nice bathroom and big windows that give a lot of natural light. Great location, 15 minutes away from the airport by tuktuk while being at walking distance from the busy PUB STREET. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. Very cute decoration and great staff. The restaurant in the hotel (LA TABLE DU SUD) has divine food that has very reasonable prices.

The wifi was not working well in the room.

Rooms were very nice and a great size, in a great location tucked away from the noise but close enough to walk to pub street / the main areas. We received welcome drinks on arrival whilst we checked in, and the staff were very friendly and helpful our whole stay. The pool was very relaxed and quiet, and felt very boujee! Definitely recommend to stay here!!
