The hotel is very well positioned and an easy walk to Pub Street, market and other tourist areas. Breakfast was two choices - scrambled eggs or pancake/waffle. Both were served with fruit and juice. We had no complaints about breakfast. With breakfast included in the price, staying here is excellent value. Rooms are very spacious. The shower is amazing and the best we had in Cambodia. Don't miss Choub Choub cafe next door. The best coffee whether hot or iced. Lovely lady running it.

Pool with its rough stone finish was a bit slimy.

The room was quite spacious, garden views, with a well-working AC. Very calm and clean. Close to the center, with kind and helpful staff.

It was stated that breakfast was included, but it turned out it wasn’t. To be fair, the staff member informed me about it before confirming check-in. I didn’t use the pool, so I can’t comment on it, except to say that it's located at the entrance, which isn't the most convenient spot.

Good, central location but quiet. Huge rooms. Big comfortable beds. Very clean. When breakfast could not be provided one morning because of a family issue with chef, the receptionist ensured breakfast was bought in from somewhere local - I was happy with that. Thank you.

There was a misunderstanding I think, with a member of staff who wanted to charge us for something we had been told was free. She was rather persistent. The following morning we were reassured the item was, indeed, free of charge. All the other staff (in particular, Lily) were very lovely, helpful and welcoming. Quite a lot of stairs!

The location was great, staffs great. On road so tuk tuk was available around.

Lift is not there. So its really a biggg problem. Rooms until 1st floor is ok. But to walk upto 2nd floor and above is a tedious job, considering you want to relax once u r back to ur hotel. Just outside is a pub, which keeps playing music. So if anyone doesn't love the ambience, should ask for a garden view room rather than a road view one.

I had a big spacious room and a comfy bed. The staff was very helpful and kind. I requested a quiet room and got one. The location was perfect, just a walk to pubstreet and market.

Nothing major: When I ask for toilet paper after 3 nights, it turned out that you have to ask to clean your room, they didn’t told me at check-in. Maybe not the fault of the hotel but worth mentioning. The hotel booked for me transportation from a dodgy company, they tried to put 9 people and want to pick up 2 more people in a 7 seat minivan. It was not a pleasant trip to Battambang. Now I booked through 12go.asia to Pnom Penh and have a comfy seat in a 11 seat van.

Huge room, very comfortable bed, great AC. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The location is perfect - near many great restaurants, a 10 minute walk from pub street and the markets.

The floor in our room was pretty dirty when we arrived. It doesn't seem as if it is being cleaned properly, but this was the only aspect of cleanliness we had a problem with! The pool is also very small, and the picture showed loungers but there is none, and no space for them anyway! This didn't bother us too much, but if you're set on having a pool, this probably isn't the place.

Ideal location to get to most places by foot. The staff was attentive and helped us with several asks with a smile. This was literally last second booking because our original hotel was surprisingly closedown when we arrived. This was a lucky pick of two rooms next to each other for a family of four

I could use a more comfortable pillow (similar issue in most asian hotels)

We had a great stay at La Maravilla. From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming. Throughout our stay the staff helped us to book a trip to Angkor Wat, and gave us advice on our further travels. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location just a 5-10 minute walk to the famous pub street. There is also an ATM machine right outside the hotel, which was very useful.

The pool was a little small, but that is expected when staying in a city. Although the pool was very clean and the perfect temperature!

The location is very nice. Close to everything we needed. The room is very big.

The lights are too dim specially at the bathroom. The bedsheets/linen are already overly washed/used. It needs to be replaced already. There is no bath mat (towel on the floor) at the toilet.

The pool was a godsend. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the room was clean & and good size, bathroom was adequate, tours can be booked there & the staff were very friendly

Kept getting locked in the bathroom as the handle was broken, ‘funky village’ is across the road & is party central; so can be noisy
