Ambient oasis in the heart of Siem Reap. Our little apartment felt like home. We loved the decor, the saltwater pool, the staff were a delight, everything felt very personal and we felt like we could stay here for a month or two if time allowed. Restaurant, coffee, and food all great too. Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again when returning to Siem Reap

Had a cold shower the whole time. I got them to look at it day 1 ... they said I wasn't turning the handle properly, day 2 same thing, day 3 we had to all stand at the shower to see that it wasnt going hot. They then tried but couldn't fix it, so a full 5 days cold showers. We didn't mind too much because it was hot outside anyway, but there was no offer to compensate or change room which I think would've been the right thing to do.

This hotel was a true gem — right in the heart of Siem Reap, yet offering a calm, peaceful atmosphere that felt worlds away from the busy streets. The pool area was a real highlight: clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the temples. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Their warmth and attentiveness really made a difference and created such a positive atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better — close to restaurants, shops, and just a short ride to Angkor Wat, while still feeling tucked away and serene. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality in Siem Reap. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is split up in two sections, which means that some of the apartments are located a small walk from the hotel reception and restaurant.

This is a very relaxing place! The pool is right by the rooms and the bar at the edge of the pool. The staff are all excellent - nothing is a trouble. Reception can organise anything you want to do. The bed is comfortable and the airconditioner can be switched to quiet mode, which really helped with sleeping. Do use the hotel tuk tuk drivers, they are reliable and the cheapest you'll find in Siem Reap. They really appreciate your business. The patio featured an outside, full sized, functioning bath tub - my little luxury!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike at Rambutan Siem Reap!

My partner & I agree - this may be the best place we have ever stayed! The staff was 10/10!! Truly the kindest and most helpful people. They made the experience feel so wonderful. We loved Siem Reap and our time there - but staying at the Rambutan definitely made it one of the best trips. The food and drinks were amazing. And happy hour was a fun thing to do each evening before dinner. Our room was giant - we loved the deck overlooking the pool. Laundry service was great - as well as the taxis, tuk-tuks associated with the hotel (Mr. Kouern!), free filtered water, and more. Everyone should stay here!

Nothing - everything was incredible.

This is a beautiful, boutique hotel tucked away across the river from the hustle and bustle of the night life. The room was excellent and quiet. The pool was lovely and had a great restaurant on the side where I took most of my meals. It was a wonderful oasis after a day of wandering.

Only a couple of things. The stairs up to the upper terrace are very steep and a little dangerous. A few more details from the front desk when booking tours would have helped me pack/dress better. Little things though.

Beautiful room! AC was strong! The bed was comfy & lots of soft pillows. This room was the best solo woman’s travelers dream. Beautiful balcony with a stone outdoor tub. The shower room was pretty & spacious. They had a strong working refrigerator. Breakfast was always delicious, generous & tasty! I very much LOVED their latte’s & cappuccinos. The staff were always greeting me & helpful with my luggage’s up & down the 2nd floor. I appreciated the designated tuk-tuk’s right outside the door.

Not too much hot water, but after sweating from temple tours, I really needed cool water. And as much as I would have loved to enjoy the stone tub outdoors, it was very open that my neighbors could see me… I wish it was more private, otherwise there is a curtain but blocks out the view. Felt only comfortable to enjoy it once out of my 4 night stay.

We loved our stay at Rambutan Resort, the staff is incredibly kind and the facilities are amazing. We were very positively surprised by the quality of the food in the restaurant, totally suggested for a delicious dinner! The happy hour by the pool will give you a nice break from exploring some of the most beautiful temples in the World. We had a small adventure with nocturnal animals but the staff was again very kind and helpful, even offering us a new room for our last night. We wish we would have stayed longer!

The room is incredible. You walk in, to a lovely waft of lemongrass scenting the air. I had a balcony overlooking the pool, with a foam built-in daybed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, with two jugs of viscous shower gels and shampoos. I took extra showers (sorry, environment!). The kitchen serves scrumptious meals, and the spa serves restorative massages. I suggest staying here.

I had to set the air conditioning on colder than usual to feel the change of air temperature, but that's negligible. This place is fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Rambutan Resort! The interior garden/pool is so dreamy and our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and consistently had hot water (not a given in the other places we stayed). The location is perfect and within walking distance of lots of great restaurants but away from the noisy hustle and bustle. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We also enjoyed the breakfast that had lots of healthy and tasty options. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Siem Reap!

I loved the location - just minutes from the action, but felt like a little garden oasis - quiet. I loved the pool- so relaxing after a day at the Temples. Having a cool bath on the deck at the end of the evening was a bonus. Cocktails were delicious! I recalled liked how the breakfast (included with the room) was a la carte (including latte’s!).

If you have mobility issues be sure to book a room on the first floor as there is no elevator. We were on the third floor with steep stairs which was fine for us. The staff helpfully carried our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs.
