Everything about this hotel is immaculate - beautifully and tastefully furnished. The staff are welcoming, charming, attentive and helpful with any enquiry. The location was perfect - a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of local restaurants serving delicious Khmer food options - even a french bakery nearby! Yet still a short walk across the river to Pub Street bars if you are in the party mood.

You can't improve on perfection. There was nothing to dislike.

From the moment we arrived until the very sad moment it was time to leave - we could not fault one of our most favourite places in the world. Our last visit was over 5 years ago (sadly) - and we thought there was no way they could have maintained what we experienced last time - but they bettered it!!!! The rooms were extremely clean and the cleaners seemed to get in and out - without us noticing them at all. We would head to breakfast and by the time we got back to them room -it was always clean and ready for us. Exceptional service. The staff quality continues to be excellent and we just wanted to bring each and every one of them home with us. They anticipated our every need - and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was excellent and we were lucky enough to trial a few dishes they were thinking of implementing - and of course they were fantastic. We also had a few dinners in at the hotel - not that we were lacking places to find to eat - but because the quality and range of food available was out of this world - and we had to keep going back to try the other dishes we hadn't tried. (Food envy). Thanks to everyone at the Viroth - keep up the great standards and we look forward to seeing you very soon. It won't be as long next time.....

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Such a gorgeous hotel but the most impressive part was the staff. Every single person there treated us like family and catered to our every needs. So incredibly welcoming every time we entered the building, giving us a cold towel and having a nice conversation with us about where we just came back from. They took care of us at every step and remembered our names and even kept asking about my wife who got heatstroke during our time in Siem Reap. They gave her breakfast in the room and anything else she needed. Breakfast was delicious and once again the staff were so nice. I really can't emphasise how wonderful the staff are at Viroth's. They picked us up from the airport where there was a hotel representative waiting for us along with a driver. The pool was salt water which was lovely as I could perfectly float in it without much effort. What helps it was the beauty of this fine hotel, amazing greenery that can blow you away. They really do a lot with a small-medium sized hotel. It was our honeymoon and we got given a pool view room. It was very spacious with a lovely bathroom and very comfortable king sized bed. The spa was very nice but of course you can find cheaper outside the hotel for similar quality. What's funny is when we went our tours, the bus would pick up other customers from their hotels and our hotel looked by far the best. You're really living in comfort at Viroth's Hotel. There's a reason why they have a 9.9 score. I wish we knew about their vintage car tours before arriving as I would've preferred to have booked those for our honeymoon over the generic tours we went on. The cars they have are insane! It would have been lovely to ride in their Rolls Royce.

Wish the TVs were Smart so we could enjoy some streaming platforms but this is a very minor issue, it encouraged us to go out and explore.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was exceptional, with every need attended to promptly and with care. The hotel was impeccably clean, showcasing a clear attention to detail in every corner. The interior design and decorations were stylish and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beautifully maintained gardens added a serene and refreshing touch to the overall experience. A truly delightful stay—I highly recommend it!

We would have preferred key cards instead of conventional keys. The hotel's gym could benefit from an upgrade.

We did a month long South Asia trip and this was our favourite hotel. It’s a resort away from the tuk/tuks and markets all crying out for your attention around Siem Reap. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff could not do enough for you. From applying lemongrass aroma insect spray on your way out to dinner, opening an umbrella as you run out to your Grab car, or booking a recommended guide for Angor Wat. The pool was clean and well appointed amongst lush palms and ferns. It was a welcome hideaway after hot mornings site seeing. The breakfast is made to order, not buffet, which was really special. The rooms are big and well decorated. It is walkable to the market and beer st, but in the heat we gladly paid $1-2 for a tuk tuk. Thank you everyone at viroth hotel!

This is our 215th review, of which we have reviewed many wonderful 5 star hotels, but when we look at price/quality this is really the best we have ever stayed in. The staff was super attentive, friendly with a very pleasant personal touch, and therefore extremely professional. The hotel is close to the center and yet it is an oasis of peace, luxury and comfort with great attention to detail and a green paradise with an enormous biodiversity of plants, thanks to the daily discreet work of the gardeners. The large swimming pool has 2 user-friendly steps with clear steps. The breakfast is so delicious and varied that we left the table a few times with a kind of guilty feeling of "haven't we eaten a bit too much?"... Viroth’s Hotel is hands down the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The design is stunning, the rooms are spacious and beautifully styled, and the pool is a peaceful oasis—perfect after a day of exploring. The amenities are thoughtful (like refrigerated towels and mosquito spray each evening), and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. Sokreach, Sokha, Theary, Tey, Saiyon, Bros, Mata, Samith, Thanith, Vannet, and Devid made us feel so welcomed—kind, warm, and always remembering the little things. They also helped organise a seamless tour to Angkor Wat. They are the true heart of the hotel. Can’t recommend Viroth’s enough!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Viroths. Might be the very best place we’ve stayed on our South East Asia trip :) Service is unparalleled, the charm of the hotel decor is so unique, comforting and relaxing. Saltwater pool was our favorite to swim at. The food was so delicious with authentic Khmer dishes, plus many western options. All staff remembered my gluten intolerance and helped me find gluten free options. Many was our server each night for dinner and he was incredibly friendly and helpful with food choices! We looked forward to seeing him each night. Reaksa helped us for breakfast each morning, and she was so lovely! Tey at reception was another stand-out staff member providing impeccable service. We love you Viroths!

Hands down, one of the best, if not the best, hotels in SE Asia (even compared to the big luxury chain). Staff are incredible, from the front desk, to the waitstaff, to the amazing bartenders - nothing is too much, will go out of their way to ensure your comfort but without being overbearing. Excellent communication and responsiveness prior to travel - offered travel tips and tours, but without hard selling. Facilities are excellent - the swimming pool is clean and open in the evening, such a lovely oasis to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. Rooms are spotless, well thought out, plenty of hangers, plenty of space to put luggage. Food is fresh and delicious, and most importantly staff have a very good understanding of food allergies, and double check every dish before you are served. Location is perfect - walking distance to everywhere you want to go, but still a bit removed from the hustle. Honestly, I could go on and on about this place. Cannot wait to be back. Thank you, Viroth's, for a perfect stay.

It was a short stay but very pleasurable! From the welcome to the ladies at Reception (sorry I forgot their names), the Spa team, beautiful gardens and facilities. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean, organized and well trained the team was. They took very good care of us even for such a quick visit and the food was yummy. They were even able to provide an extra room last minute without a long waiting time. I wish we had more time to spend by the pool and just relax. They even packed breakfast for us for an early morning trip to Angkor Wat which was perfect. Highly recommended!

Only that our stay was too short. Nothing comes to mind only good memories.
