I absolutely loved everything about my stay here. The pool area was cute, room was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were large and clean, and the breakfast menu was amazing. I recommend getting breakfast included however there are really cheap places to eat all around especially on pub street. The hostel does a great job of having a lot of tours so you can come to siem reap with absolutely nothing booked for excursions and book it all through the hostel.

Unfortunately I left behind a pouch full of chargers (MacBook, phone charger and usb). I had already left back to Phnom Penh when I realized I left it there and contacted the hostel right away. They said they looked for it but couldn’t find it. Honestly it felt like they didn’t even try. If you lose something with any resell value don’t expect to get it back. Maybe if you lose your passport or something detrimental you would. Other than that, no complaints.

PARTY HOSTEL! I want that to be the first thing you see, when you read the review. It’s a PARTY HOSTEL! It’s loud, with music blasting much of the time and with activities geared towards the college market. There are pub crawls, pool parties, drinking games . . . party hostel! I might be a little more sensitive, this time ‘round, because when I made the reservation — no mention of the party atmosphere in the reviews I saw — I asked if it was possible to get a room that was little farther away from noise, like elevators or stairs or ice machines. (I know it’s not always possible but it never hurts to ask.) So, when we arrived, and the music was already thumping by the pool, I was not-so-pleasantly surprised when they brought us to the room THAT WAS RIGHT ABOVE THE POOL/BAR. I don’t know if they have regular rooms on the other side of the building, those might all be shared hostel rooms and we had two private rooms, but these were the two rooms that were the absolute noisiest. Ear plugs helped with most of the noise — bass thumping is bass thumping, regardless of where you are — and, to be fair, the music did seem to get turned down around 10:30 and it was very quiet after that and, probably, on nights when they weren’t running special events. (Remember, most of the people here are visiting Siam Reap and are heading out for sunrise . . . getting some sleep isn’t a bad idea.) One thing I noticed in particular; there were very few people hanging around the pool and bar those nights and those who were seemed to be having conversations. So, having the music blasting wasn’t really serving anyone. It’s important to note, however, that the rooms were spotless and well appointed, though they never could get the TV — only YouTube Channel supposedly available — to work. The bathrooms were nice and the shower had plenty of hot water! The beds and pillows were comfortable; the included breakfast was tasty; the whole place was clean and conveniently located . . .

No wonder this hostel was voted as the best and largest in Asia. I stayed in a female only dorm room and it was huge, with a separate area for lockers, rack to hang towel or dry clothes on, and the comfiest bed. - female only bathroom had separate showers and toilets, with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, hair dryer, hair straightener and another rack for drying clothes - shampoo & shower gel were filled every day - dorm cleaning is done daily, with fresh towels being given at no deposit/rental fees - food is very cheap and delicious, the dragon smoothie bowl for breakfast was amazing - activities organised bring all people together, you don’t have to join every one but there’s something for everyone from bingo, karaoke, pub crawls, movie night etc - plenty of tours and activities are organised outside of the hostel - pool is cleaned daily, fresh towels are given just for the pool - all staff is incredibly kind and friendly, always there to help out when needed and I feel like I found a second family in them

Nothing.

- Clean and spacious dorm - Clean bathroom - Within walking distance to pub street and other main attractions. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. - I didn’t see it being advertised in the reception area but you can book an Angor Wat sunrise tour through the hostel for $15 which includes transportation and a tour guide

- The AC in the dorm was set at a low temperature which wasn’t an issue for me but I can see why it could be an issue for others. There was no way to adjust the temperature either. - The prices of the in house food and drink were quite high, but there are plenty of places to eat close by with more competitive prices.

The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfy beds. The light system was good too. Lights when you came in don't disrupt people if they are sleeping and the curtains each bed meant you had privacy and could read or whatever without bothering others with light being on. The pool was lovely and the food was also decent and affordable. The staff were very helpful and speak good English. The bathrooms were excellent. They have hairdryers and straighteners and you can also do your laundry which is very handy. I loved that there was a quiet air conditioned room round the back that you could work in or get some down time.

It's a bit of a party hostel. There is always music playing at the pool and bar and it's a busy little place so if you're looking for quiet maybe go somewhere else. The rooms were good at night though not noisy and you couldn't hear any noise from outside the room.

I stayed at Lub D on multiple occasions, it's great value for money and has everything a good and thoughtful hostel should have: spacious dorms with lockers (bring your own lock), easily accessible dorm beds (stairs not ladders leading up to the upper bunks), comfortable matresses and privacy curtains, good amount of toilets and showers (all clean and showers have enough space to get dressed without all clothes getting wet), DIY laundry facilities (for a small fee)... pool including free pool towels, activities, reasonable prices for food and drinks etc. Nice and helpful staff. Location is also great, walking distance to the river, night market and Pub Street. Also only 2 min away from the Airport bus stop.

it is kind of a party hostel, but then pretty much all hostels in Siem Reap are. But it's easily possible to stay away from the party crowd and it's quiet in the rooms. Can 100% recommend, great value for money.

We had such a great time! One of the best places we stayed in southeast asia. The rooms were spacious and had big enough lockers to fit your whole suitcase. Beds were very comfortable, I got some quality rest time. The stairs to get to the top bunks were so smart and convenient. Privacy curtain was on point. Staff was always helpful and on hand to fix any little thing that came up. Cool vibe and activities. It seems to be a lively party hostel but as it was low season there were calm moments which I really appreciated lounging by the pool. Wouldn't hesitate on coming back.

The aircon was a little too cold overnight. I would suggest an extra blanket if you get chilly easily. I slept with a hoodie and it was okay. The shared bathroom's floor got wet really fast I don't know if from the shower or from people coming back from the pool, but it you wanted to use any of the sinks there was a high chance of stepping on a small puddle.

I don't even know where to begin -- about how INCREDIBLE this hostel is. No wonder they are awarded 'Best Large Hostel in Asia 2025'! The people who designed the space are true geniuses and know their target market so well. It is every backpacker's dream - location, privacy, hygiene, social vibe, respect, amenities, all day breakfast.... The list is endless. There is thoughtfulness in every aspect - the enormous size of the dorms, spotless and equipped washrooms, and especially the placement of lockers outside the sleeping area, steps instead of ladders. Compliments to the cleaning crew, checkin crew, F&b crew and everyone who made this stay truly memorable. It's been the best hostel I've stayed at in over 15 years as a backpacker. Keep up the good work.

Quiet rooms, social atmosphere, modern rooms, clean sheets and towels, shelf in bed, privacy curtain in bed, restaurant and bar on site, ATM and supermarket just across the road, organised activities, great location, pool towels, airport shuttles, big lockers, small locker with gap for leads so you can charge your valuables while they are still locked away, friendly staff, straighteners in bathroom, cleanest pool I’ve ever seen, tubes to float in pool and water fountain!! Love, love, love it!!

Nothing, it was fantastic!

Great location, 10 mins walk to Pub Street but still quiet enough. Big comfy beds, curtains make it super private. The room was spacious with plenty of mirrors, towel rails etc. Nice pool and bar area with good food. Easy to book trips like Angkor Wat and Floating Village. Free cold water refills and a bathroom with lots of facilities like washing machine, hair dryer etc.

The bathroom was usually dirty! Floor was always covered in dirt from people wearing shoes on a wet floor, shower drains blocked easily meaning the base would overflow if you weren't quick in the shower. Shower curtains instead of screens. Unclean toilets and toilet seats.
