This is our second time at the Apsara, having returned after staying in 2023. Sometimes, when you return to a place that you enjoyed, you find that it does not measure up to your memories, but that did not happen here. The Apsara exceeded our recall in quality and gracious service. We love the location, close to the action, but quiet for relaxing; and we appreciate the made-to-order excellent breakfast to start our day. We we arrived, we were thinking that our third time visiting temples around Siem Reap was probably enough, but we were so well taken care of at the Apsara that we are considering returning again. To put this in perspective, it takes us at least 1.5 days in transit to get there, and requires adapting to an 11 hour time change, and we consider the Apsara worth this effort.

The staff place such effort into their work, that we find nothing to complain about.

the day staff were brilliant couldn't do enough for you the night staff was a joke. the location was brilliant . lovely pool bar and restaurant .

the external charade of hotel was spotless but the room 106 was far from clean the bathroom needs a good steam clean the silicone is black mouldy and the granite bath I don't think has been used or cleaned since it was installed.there are roller blinds in the shower room which go to the floor of the shower the are minging. the headboard in bedroom is a painted wall and I think has been used as an art canvas for a 2 year old. overall it just needs to have a good clean and it would be a great hotel

Booked a standard queen room but was surprised with an upgrade upon check in. I was given the junior suite and it was a wonderful stay. Was also given a welcome drink, small dessert and cold towel upon arrival Despite the hotel being a bit dated, all the furnishings were comfortable. The pillows were cozy and the linen was spotless. Housekeeping were prompt and always clean. The basic amenities could be better (bath gel and shampoo were poor quality). WiFi was intermittent at my 4th floor room but excellent in the common areas Breakfast was cooked to order, serving several asian/international breakfast options. They were prompt to arrive and tasty. Even when I had a 0430 start once, they provided me with simple breakfast bag All the staff were friendly and helpful with any queries or recommendations Would definitely stay here if I return to Siem Reap again!

Staff was really friendly, although the language barrier was a slight inconvenience at times. For instance, we had made prior reservations for transportation for our departure, however, the day came and no transportation was arranged to take us to the airport. Luckily, I was able to book a Grab to take us to the airport.

The hotel staff that was working the morning of our checkout tried to charge us for a missing bathrobe that was already missing when we arrived. There was only one in our room and he tried to charge us for it ($30 USD). Aside that, it was a pleasant stay.

We loved it all. Personally I’d have liked a buffet breakfast as it felt a little formal with limited choice for our taste but this is a minor mention - as the staff are so kind and try to accommodate. Also close to great market area and wonderful restaurants and spas - I recommend Roxy’s nail for great pedicure and for drinks - Harry’s bar in old market lane and wonderful Wild for dinner - all close to walk to

Lovely and super-polite staff! The hotel is conveniently located not too far and not too close to the touristed dining areas of Siem Reap. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed here 5 nights and found it very nice overall.

Breakfasts were okay but the espresso drinks had a weird taste. A little bit noisy at night due to its location near the heart of tourist activities. If you are a sensitive sleeper, a pair of earplugs will do the trick.

It was my second time that I travelled to Siem Reap and I knew that I will stay at Apsara again. The previous experience was excellent, this time was no worse. Everything was great, nothing to complain. Special thanks to the cheerful and accommodating staff.

The only minor thing is breakfast. I am spoiled by buffet already, so ordering from the menu is a bit unusual. Still, I understand that the hotel is small and buffet is not an option.

This was by far the best stay we had our whole trip! The staff were amazing and so friendly. They were able to accommodate an early check in after an overnight bus, and we were even upgraded to a suite. Our stay here made our time in Siem Reap even better, we would 1000% book here again and will be recommending it to everyone planning a trip here. Photos are from both rooms we stayed in (booked and upgraded) - we would have been very happy with either.

The staff were exceptional, from the reception staff to the security. All the staff were respectful, kind and went out their way to make sure we were comfortable. We felt very safe and were greeted every time we entered the hotel. We had support with setting up our tourist SIM cards, the staff at the desk were very kind and supportive. Our room with a private pool was exquisite and much needed, especially after a long day trekking around Siem Reap. On arrival we were greeted with cold towels, a cold herbal drink and a delicious traditional coconut and jackfruit jello dessert. They insisted we sat down to relax while they brought over the check in forms to us. Their English is also great, Outstanding customer service. Location was also great, walking distance to the popular pub street but far enough to sleep in peace and away from the busy street noise.

Unfortunately the internet Wi-Fi kept cutting out for me and wasn’t the best connection.

We give this hotel a 10 because the personell was INCREDIBLE. They arranged everything for us. Want to go to the theater? no problem, tickets in the hotel within 2 hours. Need a driver at normal price? no problem. Need to know something she doesn't know? No problem, she will get to know. They just went all the way! location also great, in a quiet side street just on the other side of the river, 3 min. walk.
