I stayed at Golden Temple Hotel while traveling solo, and it was a fantastic choice. The location is excellent—right in the center of town, close to great restaurants, and with a grocery store next door if you need to grab anything. The best part? The pool. After a long day exploring Angkor Wat, coming back to a cool swim was the perfect way to recharge. I also took advantage of the hotel’s spa for a much-needed massage, which was both affordable and excellent. The food at the hotel was another highlight. Breakfast was fresh and varied every morning, and I ended up eating lunch there a couple of times because the menu was surprisingly extensive. The staff was friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. On the practical side, the room was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast enough for work and streaming, and the shower had great water pressure with reliably hot water (a huge plus in my book). For the price, this place is an incredible value. Highly recommend for solo travelers looking for a well-run, centrally located, and affordable hotel in Siem Reap!

Truly exceeded expectations.

My partner and I stayed at Golden Temple Hotel, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. The staff treated us like VIPs, always welcoming us with warm smiles and thoughtful touches. They even handled our laundry at an unbelievably low price—something we truly appreciated after long days exploring Angkor Wat. The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the heart of Siem Reap, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and with a grocery store next door for any little extras. But honestly, we barely wanted to leave the hotel! The pool was stunning, perfect for unwinding together after a morning at the temples. We also booked a couples massage at the spa, which was the perfect way to relax before heading out for dinner. Speaking of food, the hotel’s restaurant is fantastic. Breakfast each morning was fresh and varied, and we enjoyed some beautifully presented (and delicious) lunches and dinners there as well. Everything about this place—from the warm service to the comfortable rooms and strong Wi-Fi—made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. For the price, it’s an absolute bargain, and we’d recommend it to any couple looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation in Siem Reap.

Amazing hotel with beautiful clean rooms where you feel like you are visiting friends. Breakfasts are luxurious. The staff is nice, smiling and tries to fulfill all your wishes. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, which is a pleasant refreshment after visiting the city and monuments. It is within walking distance to the city center, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops. Big thanks to the hotel manager Alice and her colleague for the above-standard care in my difficult situation, when they took care of me like a family member.

This is a review of the Golden Temple Boutique where we were switched - on agreement after their request. This is one beautiful hotel, except it's not one, it's two with the 'Residence' over the road where breakfast is served. Everything about this place screams style, from the pools, to the room and the staff are just wonderful. Hard to imagine a better location - better than the Golden Temple (original) I believe - for access to the market, Pub Street and many other places. I just can't begin to say how lovely the staff are, really pleased to see you and chat each time, always helpful. Occasionally we'd have a knock on the door early evening and a member of staff would present us with some free snacks, a little poem or story and the weather for the following day. Hard to mention anything but I don't like empty answer boxes....so.... dinner is quite pricey for Cambodia, but then again it is very good.

Great position, an easy walk into the hub of Siem Reap. Room was large, clean and tidily decorated. Nice pool although it doesn't really get the sun. Able to get substantial breakfast picnics if going on early morning trips. Staff always on hand and very helpful. Food in the hotel restaurant was really good. Shame more guests didn't use it.

My room was ' noisy'. Corridor noise with people walking around and particularly staff early in the morning.

The Golden Temple was a friendly, clean, comfortable hotel to stay at. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming, they remembered our favourite drinks and were very good with my gluten free diet. We will miss the friends we made.

From the moment my transfer met me @ the airport .. "just simply "THE BEST " an arrival @ Golden Temple" the staff were quite probably, no ! they were the most gracious "THE BEST in the WORLD ' .. miles of smiles .. refreshments, my room bottom floor pool view.. brilliant, spacious.. so neatly presented.. value for money this was the best if you are thinking of Cambodia & you are not that well heeled to stay @ Raffles.. this gets my vote.. not overly large, 5 minutes from Pub Street..& de best "LOW SEASON " the only time to visit..... enough said here is the link to my video stay .."https://youtu.be/idkppc1aH6A?si=rcpTERyPSezpBBtr

Very good location. Just nea the pub street and night market. Swimming pool helped us to cool after the hot days trips. Staff was exellent. Very helpful and polite

Everything was good

This hotel is a surprising hidden gem. The decor in the lobby and pool are beautiful. There are so many little hospitality extras, like welcoming towel, drink and snack. The location is perfect, being close to pub street but far enough away to have a different vibe. The buffet was one of the best we had on our trip. We have been in Thailand and Siem Reap for about 2 weeks and this hotel was the best value. In particular, the staff were superb. Nary was a treat. She was funny, helpful and would come and talk to my wife during the day. The service at the hotel was excellent, and very professional. We had an evisa issue trying to enter Vietnam and had to stay an extra day to try and get a visa on arrival. It was not for sure that we were going to get approval and had to wait until 6pm to find out. The hotel allowed us to stay until 6pm for a discounted day rate and held the room in case we need to stay the night again. We got the approval and Theara, Bun sot, and Vicheka helped print our boarding cards, visa documents, and secure transportation to the airport. It was pretty stressful time but but we felt the whole hotel team was on our side. I would stay her again, and recommend it to anyone.

The food is high class! Amazing! A wonderful breakfast and an amazing evening menu. The stuff is lovely and caring and helped with everything. I’m gluten intolerant and it was no problem at all, it was all taken care of. From getting a guide, transfer, booking a tour, they helped with everything and always with a smile on their face! It’s a lovely atmosphere at the hotel. It’s a little oasis. Try the spa and get some time to relax! We would recommend the Golden Tempel Hotel to everyone who visit Siem Reap. We will be back! And when we’re back , we will stay in no other hotel than this one!
