Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere of the hotel, settled in a lavish tropical green. We loved the traditional architecture of the wooden houses and the decor - that´s why I chose this hotel. Excellent location in the city center. 15mins walk to Pub Street. Very pleasant pool and lovely massage (although you can get those anywhere in town - prices in the hotel are actually reasonable. I recommend Khmer massage). Breakfast was ok-ish, but the surroundings made it unique. Beds were comfy, no TV. They bring each night some sweet treats and a traditional bedtime story - a pleasant touch.

The hotel is defininetly on the higher end in terms of prices compared to others in Siem Reap. That said, if we pay $150 per night (they charge $20 extra for the rooms on first floor) we expect a welcoming attitude from the staff. It felt the opposite, which was very disappointing. The only time the staff approached us to ask how was our stay was when they asked us to write a positive review about them. Ouch. The breakfast slection is also very limited, although sufficient. I would still recommend a stay in this hotel for its amazing atmosphere and architecture.

The pool area is stunning – surrounded by tropical plants and so inviting after a day exploring the temples. We also loved the on-site restaurant; the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast each morning was generous and delicious, with a great variety of both Western and local options. One of the absolute highlights was the spa. The treatments were top-notch – professional, relaxing, and incredibly rejuvenating. It’s rare to find a hotel that nails both ambiance and service so well, but this one does. Above all, the staff made our stay unforgettable. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. Their kindness and care truly elevated our experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and well-run boutique hotel in Siem Reap, look no further. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Love the architecture and style of this place, very unique in Siem Reap and highlighting Cambodian culture and tradition. The staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere is so green and relaxing while the location is perfect, being right in the town center. Room is spacious and clean with a strong attention to many details. Breakfast is amazing and super complete. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Angkor Village! Note: The restaurant of the hotel, Aaraama, has an original and interesting menu telling the story of Cambodian cuisine. A must try!

Staying at Angkor Village Hotel was an absolute delight. The location is perfect — tucked away in a peaceful, lush setting, yet just a short walk from the heart of Siem Reap and all the main attractions, including the incredible Angkor Wat. The food was outstanding. Every meal we had was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really taste the care that goes into each dish. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. This our second story in this hotel and we filme pleased to comeback again. Everything was almost perfect. This all wooden hotel is very charming. Not located in the center of the town and consequently very calm but at a walking distance of the old market. The staff is very professional and pleasant. They really take care of their customers. Every single issue was fixed at a glance. The breakfast is good and the restaurant for dinner is to me excellent. We never never want to eat outside. The manager is extremely reactive, very professional.

Last year there was a buffet breakfast and it was more convenient.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. All staff were lovely & very welcoming. Special mention of Seavlmh who checked us in & was very kind to us during our stay. Pov Tola who did a fabulous job in the bar area. Also would like to praise our tour guide Sophal who did a great job delivering so much information during our 2 days touring the temples. Kimsour (van driver) was an extremely safe driver & was always ready to greet us with cold water & towels. Thanks very much to all staff who made our stay very comfortable. & always greeted us with smiles & great service.

This hotel is one of the most unique and incredible hotels I've stayed at and the staff are so helpful and friendly. They helped make our anniversary very special, beautifully decorated with a cake for my husband and I. We live here and chose to stay here due to the captivating, beautiful grounds with a peaceful lotus pond and lush greenery. We loved the pool and restaurant, so creatively beautiful. Staying here is an experience, rather than just a stay. It's like stepping back in time. Very romantic. I highly recommend staying here.

I liked everything about it.

We had a fantastic stay at Angkor Village Hotel, it’s an absolutely stunning hotel with beautifully maintained plants surrounding the grounds. The staff were all very helpful and attentive with organising tours and activities for us, they even decorated our room as we were on our honeymoon. We very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning and were grateful the staff offered to pack breakfast for us when we were rushing out to explore the temples. Thank you for a wonderful time, we would absolutely return if we are in Siem Reap again!

The staff took us under its wing and organized our entire trip in the Angkor Wat area. This turned out to be an extraordinary accomplishment because a flight day had forced us to cancel our first day in Cambodia. That meant that staff member Mithuna Klok had to rescheduled our airport pickup, dinner reservations, show reservations, massages and tours. She handled it beautifully, and we had a wonderful time in this hotel, which looks like a tropical paradise. We did not want to leave this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It made our stay very welcoming. The location is excellent with good food choices within walking distances.

My 7 year old son only has a complaint on the pool. The water was cold (because of the layout, the pool doesn't get much sun), with leaves and petals falling into the pool and the sudden dip in the middle didn't feel safe to him. To be fair, guests do not choose this hotel to hang out by the pool and it is not catered as a young family hotel. I don't think it is a big issue.
