We took two rooms and used the sofa bed in one of them. the rooms were next door to each other so we were able to use the other room as the kitchen and sitting area which worked well. Everything was comfy and linen was provided for the sofa bed. The location was very attractive in a wooded area out of town. The airporter shuttle stopped at the hotel which was handy for other family members arriving at different times. the facilities were great and we used the swimming pool, hot tub and gym between us quite extensively. we played tennis also. the staff were helpful and polite. The regular shuttle bus into town could have been very useful although we did not need it. Banff is a most attractive town with nice shops and restaurants. We did a lot of hiking up mountains and around lakes ; the scenery was stunning .

the tennis net was broken and could not be raised and we had one child's racket as the hotel just had 3 adult rackets we could borrow. it was not a big problem.

The room was large, clean, and spacious. Rooms on the 2nd floor are better as they have a higher ceiling and also you do not risk to have a family with small children on the floor above you who run around in the room after 11 pm. The entrance door was towards the woods which I loved as it gave us more privacy. Gersun from the restaurant was very helpful and customer oriented. So were Vlad and Ilia from the reception.

They need to upgrade their toilet flushing mechanisms in all the rooms. We had two separate stays in two separate rooms and both rooms had this problem. Also the hotel is a little on the expensive side just because it is located in Banff.

Amazing location and stunning views! The room is cozy and has plenty of kitchen utilities, which makes it very convenient. A tip for budget-conscious guests: grab some groceries and cook at home. For breakfast, try the hotel options — really good! The hot tubs are incredible, some of the best I've ever been in. The shuttle service is also very convenient, and the driver is kind and funny.

The shuttle could run more frequently. The gym is quite outdated and could use some refurbishing. I sensed a bit of rudeness from some staff members — though this did not apply to the restaurant team, who provided one of the best services I've experienced. Also, the rooms are not very soundproof. We had loud neighbors on the first day, but since quiet hours start at 11 PM, we didn’t call staff and just took some sleep aids.

Absolutely loved my stay at Rocky mountain resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The resort is beautiful, the beautiful view of rocky mountains, forest and many more all were stunning, and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend!

Although it is mentioned its near to town however it still takes around 10-15 mins drive to the Banff town and if you think to walk, you can't you have to take shuttle or cab.

I loved this hotel! I ended extending my stay because I wanted to stay in Banff for longer. The staff were so kind and attentive, I felt bad because I had never interacted that much with hotel staff before. The first day I wake up to a leak in the bathroom which they fixed whilst I was out, then when I lost a key card they replaced it with no issues, same when my card stopped working, and when I extended my stay they made sure that I had a very late checkout and that my new room was ready as soon as possible. I really appreciate all the effort which made my stay really comfortable and stress free. I also love that the facilities offered on site washing machine, fitness section and the free shuttle into town! The drivers are so kind and helpful, and always willing to make sure we make the most of our stay by asking us our plans and making recommendations.

I really like the location, was outside of the city centre, but close enough if you have car this is not a problem. The room was amazing, fancy, and clean. The hotel has their own pool (hot springs). Workers from the reception were really nice. The hotel has free parking

When the time of the dinner arrive, we decide to go to the bar of the hotel. My and my husband were waiting more than 30 minutes for a waitress take our order. We ask him a couple of time, and he said we must wait. Then another customer arrive and he served. I would said everything in the hotel is amazing, except the terrible service of the bar. Specially if you are clients from the hotel.

Spacious and clean

The restaurant very pricey! When we checked in we were told the buffet for dinner was $22 per person but the real price was $33!! Very expensive considering what they offered!

We were only 2 guests, so having a queen-sized bed all to yourself was wonderful! The room was very big and spacious, as well as the bathroom. The hotel was only a 5 minute drive away from Banff Town which was convenient. If you don't have a car, they also offer shuttle rides to and from town for convenience and there isn't any need to park your vehicle.

Service could be better. Our room was on the second floor and we didn't know there weren't any elevators. We had to haul our luggages on our own through the stairs at 9pm. I also expected a little bit more with the items that they serve, being spoiled from our first stay.

I love that the staffs go above and beyond to help us. We were supposed to go to Jasper and stay at Hinton. But on our way there, the wildfires started and we had to turn back, cancel all our bookings and quickly find a place to stay. We booked here. For some reasons, there was some mistakes when we booked the place. We call the hotel and they sorted and fixed it for us. The staffs are commendable and very helpful.

Nothing really. Wish we could stay longer. We arrived past 1am, and needs to check out.

Good space and range of facilities. Loved the Rocky Mountain company bath products in the bathrooms. Staff friendly and informative on check in. Despite being out of the main town it is easy to drive into Banff and park for free at the station (we were told this was limited parking but were able to park there every time). There’s also a shuttle bus into town if needed.

Kitchen needs scissors. Often a long queue at reception of people checking in with no one available to deal with quick queries. Pool facilities are good but a little tired looking
