The best part? The bed was like sleeping on a cloud complete with the sensation of being cuddled by puppies all night. No, wait, the best part was soaking in the double clawfoot bathtub. Oh, woops, no, it was actually sitting by the fireplace on beautiful cushioned arm chairs in fluffy bathrobes with tea. Darn it, it’s so hard to choose! It was delighted being pampered with the luxury that is the gorgeous Georgetown Inn!!!
The cost, though expensive for us, did represent the true quality of the Inn. More available discount codes for first time guests or something of the sort would have been appreciated.

Old English style inn with loads of history & character which was charming. The room was especially large with a comfy bed, bathtub in the room & once again, charming. We ate dinner at the pub each night & the food was really good, hearty & large servings so good value for money. We loved the open fire in the pub which helped create the cosy old fashioned atmosphere which is a special & unique feature of the Georgetown Inn. The staff were all friendly & helpful which was the icing on the cake. I’d recommend this Inn to anyone who wants a more special experience than just staying in a regular hotel, it was totally worth it.

The room we stayed in was wonderful. It had a fireplace, two housecoats and a comfy 4 poster bed. There was a mini fridge, and a tea/coffee area set up with some cookies upon our arrival. The Inn was full of antiques and Tudor in style and very clean. There is also a pub located on premise where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. We arrived late in the evening and the correspondence between the Inn and myself pre-arrival was very informative. It gave instructions on what to do if you arrive after the front desk has closed etc.
Loud closing doors and voices carrying was the only negative but that was caused by other guests and is a reflection on their inconsideration in the hallways and not on the Inn itself.

Our room was spectacular, beautiful bathtub, fireplace ,and very comfortable huge bed. If we ever get back to Canmore we will stay there again. We did not have breakfast there, but we had our supper in their restaurant, it was excellent and a great price.
Only one little unfortunate problem, the previous guest overflowed the bathtub, so once we removed our shoes, our socks and feet were soaked. However, l do not blame the Inn for this mishap, the staff would’ve known this, unless they took their shoes off.

Superb and very quaint hotel with lots of lovely history and antique items displayed around. It was so charming. The staff were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. There was a lovely jug of free lemon tea on reception arrival which was lovely. There is a great restaurant and bar with a fantastic barman and the food was lovely and VERY plentiful! Probably the largest portions we had received so far in all our road trip dinners. The beds were huge and very regal looking with very comfortable mattresses.
Lighting was a little dim in the room. Otherwise perfect

Very charming hotel with a British influence. Room was very comfortable, very clean, had a fireplace with chairs and ottoman. Best touch was the tray with a china teapot and cups and variety of teas, cookies and a lovely handwritten note. Coffee station had excellent coffee and coffee pot as well as a kettle to properly make tea. Clawfoot tub was awesome! Bed was super comfortable. Building had old fashioned elevator, lovely woodwork throughout, and a great pub!! Lots of cool history on the walls too. Staff super friendly and went above and beyond!!
A little squishy for two suitcases but we made it work!

Many thanks for having us! We had a self check-in later at night and found a hand-written, warm welcome in our room. We had a late check-out and the first extended hour was free! All our wishes were met and we had an amazing stay. Special thanks to the nice German lady at the counter who helped us with a few things and was really kind. Also thanks to the nice waitress who served us in the morning and was very attentive. We would book again without hesitation.

The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. It was well stocked and had a very clean bathtub and toilet. We loved the elevator as it was a very unique feature. The hotel was so well maintained and the restaurant on site had top notch food and excellent wine and drinks. It was the perfect setting for a mountain getaway and even had a cozy wood burning fireplace. The bar staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
The only negative was that the rooms aren't sound proof and we could hear the dogs barking in the room on the same floor.

Restaurant serves great food. It's also walking distance to a bakery, bagel shop, and multiple other restaurants. It was quiet for me and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful
Room was a little small and had a few minor issues, but nothing bad (sitting "area" small, toilet seat loose. Refrigerator turned all the way up, lights switching for seating doesn't turn on unless you press hard, etc). They had winter time bedding on it, but I removed both heavy covers and asked for and received a normal blanket that did the trick.

We had a lovely stay at the Georgetown inn. The rooms were as pictured and were clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and bathroom appliances all worked well. We didn’t hear much noise from other guests or from the restaurant downstairs. The parking lot in the back was convenient for us with a rental car. The inn is a short 5 minute walk into town for dinner. It’s about a 30 minute drive to banff and an hour drive to lake Louise. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a hotel with a bit more character and charm!
