The room was massive - I've had apartments that are smaller than it. The beds were very comfortable. There is underground parking that was great. The location can't be beat. Just cross the street (and through a parking lot) to the entrance into the Phase I food court. There's also a bus depot in the parking lot right next to the hotel for getting downtown so you can just leave your car parked. The breakfast was great - hot options were scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. There were a variety of other baked goods and a toaster. Juice, coffee, milk, yogurt. Everything you could need in the morning.

The glass from the shower wasn't sealed at the bottom, so water got everywhere in the bathroom. We were there on a Sunday when the mall didn't open until 11, so we were in our room until about 10:30, and that made us miss housekeeping - no one came to our room to make it up even though the housekeeping staff watched us leave for the day. The hallways are very dark and sad. When we were walking to our room the first time, I was ready to rate the place as being similar to a 3rd-rate motel, due to the overall look and feel of the hallways. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, but I can see how this hotel will not age very well.

The property itself is fantastic! The staff was friendly and accommodating at all hours. We are so impressed with the bed that we are inquiring on purchasing a mattress ourselves. Amazing! Thank you again!

It is in an awkward location.. Rideshare and taxi drivers may have a hard time finding you and where to drop you off. Be aware of this when booking! The parking lot is incredibly tight as many businesses and a drive thru share it. It also is not within a simple walking distance from the mall especially with all the construction ongoing.

We had a fantastic stay at The Baymont by Wyndham West Edmonton! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable – we slept so well each night. The bathroom was spotless, and we really appreciated the high-quality toiletries provided. One of the standout features of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. It was absolutely brilliant, offering a wide range of options including scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, pancakes, waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, and a great selection of tea and coffee – something for everyone to enjoy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. The hotel’s location was also perfect – just a stone’s throw from the West Edmonton Mall – and all at a terrific price. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is super clean, and the location is excellent-just 5 minutes walk to the Edmonton Mall. The underground parking was a real advantage. Th staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also impressive, with hot food options quick refills so nothing even ran out. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edmonton!

The only issue was the construction noise outside at night.

Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely: very spacious, nice sized fridge and microwave, modern, clean, bed was very comfortable with ample pillows, and there were enough towels. The breakfast was adequate as well and the food was fresh. It was nice to have underground parking as well for my car.

Unfortunately, it is not that quiet/sound proof in the room. We were just down the hall from the ice machine and it was loud when people came to get ice. Also, the sound of other doors closing was noisy. We are coffee drinkers and we really missed not being able to have a coffee or two in our room before going for breakfast. There was no in-room coffee pot or coffee.

Location, location and location. Room is also huge. Towels are good.

During our five days stay, we had the same breakfast. Wish there would be different options everyday. Floor in the room was also not cleaned during our stay for five days. I left a small tissue on the floor beside the bed from day 1 and it's been there until we left. There are no plates or cutlery especially for a Suite with dishwasher.

The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family trip that included multiple trips to WEM. Definitely within walking distance. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Rooms are not sound proofed but this didn’t bother us as there wasn’t any loud noises when we were trying to sleep. Breakfast was ok. I would suggest they get a waffle maker instead of providing frozen eggos. Overall we were happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay. Seems newly renovated new place. It was very clean and the room was spacious, as if it had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly and it was close to the mall, so it was the best place to stay. I strongly recommend this place to stay.

Overall it was EXCELLENT, but it was a little disappointing that there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a really clean and satisfactory place.

The staff - Informative and helpful; bedding is comfy, spacious.

It would be much nicer if the hallway carpet color is brighter a bit e.g. dark red (instead of the current grey which makes it look too old and dull for the hallway); and there is obvious ugly big water spot on 3rd floor hallway carpet from some previous leak on 3rd floor hallway. Believe some carpet cleaner could clean that dirt. Suggest for hotel to provide cheap disposable slippers for the guests to walk on the room wooden floor.

Friendly staff. Clean. Modern decor. Fluffy pillows. Great water pressure and shower. Walking distance to the mall! Plenty of storage and counter space.

Did not like the location as there were several questionable people walking around. Super small parking lot. The underground parking lot was great, unfortunately our SUV with a carrier on top did not fit.
