Close to the Anthony Henday, Calgary Trail/Gateway BLVD which are main arteries to get ANYWHERE in Edmonton. The check in was very easy, and the staff at the counter was pleasant and quick. The bed was comfortable, ac worked great. TV was easy to sign into my prime or Netflix for the night. Check out was smooth with a little breakfast offering of fruit, yogurt, muffins, croissants, cereal and coffee! For a quick stay while passing through I'd recommend.

There definitely seemed to be some "unsavoury" characters around. There was a mustang in the parking lot with a smashed out window and glass on the ground. Kinda made me uneasy, but my daughter worked in the area and said the car has been for There for months. They really should just have it removed. :)

The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff were attentive and concerns were immediately addressed. Surprisingly quiet, even though next to Calgary Trail. Would definitely stay here again

The outside grounds are not well kept, and do not look very inviting. Also, the business next door has a motion detector and after hours it was continually warning "intruders" to leave. Any movement in the hotel's parking lot triggered it. This went on every night for the week I was there. This is not Chateau 's fault, but it is very annoying, to say the least.

7 minutes from the soccer dome where I was playing in a slo pitch tournament. Saved me time and gas not having to drive from home. Nice rooms, friendly staff and yummy breakfast. I would stay there again.

Was hoping there was a coffee maker in the room. Thought I read in the room description that there was so i brought my own coffee and cream. Oh well. No biggy.

The location is great, and it’s pet-friendly.

No outside garbage cans seemed to be available and as mentioned, the motel is pet-friendly. So there was un-picked-up poop in the walking areas. Speaking of which, the walking areas could be improved. Also, maids didn’t come on our second day. Which is fine, but someone should have told us that.

-Rooms were not really sound proof -curtains need to be updated -tv is too small to be wall mounted -washroom vents can hear into next room -no hair dryer -shower water was stuck on hot Other than that, the room was worth the price, good location, and quiet comfortable. Not bad at all for a 2 star motel.

That they don't ask for a credit card and the deposit was small. It included breakfast and coffee was available

It not as cheap as it was once was. Staff was friendlier. We found a drug baggie in one of the beds tho??? Did they not change the sheets..

Wonderful staff and facilities. The parking lot was a decent size and the staff took care of any complaints efficiently and fast.

Other tenants of the motel were loud but staff handled the situations well

I travel regularly for work and stay at The Château most of the time. It is only 10 minutes to my office so very convenient. The staff are friendly and professional.

I leave to early in the morning to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The desk clerk that checked me in suggested I ask in the morning if I could have a muffin but was in a hurry so didn't get a chance.

For a 1 star and not the best reviews I was expecting worse but it was actually very clean and comfortable. I have been to a 3 star that is worse. It's cheap and has all the basics. No issues.

Great location comfortable clean, the kitchenette able me to make things to eat instead of resteraunt food.

There were no cutlery, knives forks or spoons to eat with in the room.
