Here's the deal. We stay here quite often, because of the price. The rooms are a bit dated, but for the most part are big and comfortable. We don't eat here as there are a lot better options close by. The windows aren't sound proof, and if you're on the one side, you hear the traffic on Calgary trail. If you're on the other side, you can hear the train. and some people don't like it because there are some sketchy homeless people in the area. It can be to get to if you're on the wrong side of the Calgary trail heading south, and have to turn around to get back. But the bonus is, it's right on the corner of the Whitemud and CGY trail. there's a Starbucks and Earls within walking distance.

Elevators are slow, but good news, the stairs are easy. No streaming services, so bring an HDMI cord if you want to watch Netflix etc. They do have OPtik TV.

I really enjoyed the balcony and the quiet hotel very relaxing and peaceful. But my most favorite was the restaurant sitting by the fire relaxing with warmth coming from the fireplace. The New york steak and beef blues cheese was amazing. we had the best food that night, 10 out 0f 10. I even had to ask for the chef 👨‍🍳 so I could tell her to her face that she cooked us two amazing dinners. I definitely am going to come back again, especially for the food that Elaine made. chef, keep up the great work 👍 definitely giving this meal 5 stars 🌟 🤩 also thank you, micheal, for the great service, too, and wishing me a happy birthday. The only thing is no microwave in the room I would of loved to warm up my left over from the restaurant in the hotel

I have stayed here many times, some rooms were great, others not so much. There is breakfast available buffet style for $10/pp which we looked at but decided not to partake in. Pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor with laminate flooring. Rooms are quiet despite the hotel being right on Gateway Blvd which is nice. Front desk staff have always been super awesome with any questions/requests we might have. Restaurant in the hotel is quite good. Overall great value.

One room we stayed in had really thin, cheap curtains unlike any of the other rooms we stayed in. Let lots of light through including street lights. Another room only had a small blanket on the bed and not a duvet, we just turned up the heat a bit for the night and were fine.

My car wouldn't start in the morning in -30 and the lady at the front desk came outside and brought her car around to help me try and jump start my car. Over and above hospitality. Clean comfortable cozy room. Restaurant had excellent food with an incredible layout.

The room had a bit of a smell. Almost like water in the carpet or something. Not super overpowering but noticeable.

The room was spacious, very clean with good working WiFi connection. Reception hall, dining hall and common areas of the hotel are nicely decorated in boreal forest style with elements of West Indian culture, such as giant dream catcher on the wall in the main hall. Breakfast is a good continental buffet breakfast for thirteen dollars, which is a good price.

Skillet for baking belgian waffles was not working properly during breakfast.

Our 3rd floor unit was just about right for our 2 night stay, reasonably quiet despite the location near a busy street. The breakfast was good, with a particularly nice seating area. The 2 elevators meant very little wait. The decor of the lobby and lounge area was unique, with a North American native theme, nicely done.

The bath tub was in need of maintenance. The parking arrangement for check in wasn't the best.

I really loved the Indigenous art and architecture. The huge Dream catcher was beautiful!!Thank you

I wish the restaurant was closer linked to the hotel for paying the meal bill to the room account. This helps remember travel and meal expenses for accounting purposes, After unpacking last night, I must have left my green Tennis shirt on the back hook of the bathroom door, Rm316. The room was as advertised and very clean. The staff was great and there were a lot of on site amenities. There was a nice lounge/restaurant and there was an inexpensive breakfast option available. The location is on a major thoroughfare so its easy access to get there and also to leave. There are a lot of good options nearby for shopping and restaurants, many easily available to walk to.

I have no complaints about this hotel at all. This will be my go-to in Edmonton. I will recommend this to anyone who may ask. I may have missed it because I found a space to park, but there may be limited options available.

Nothing serious but I think rooms needing more details on cleaning. Dusty lamp shade,behind night table should be check .washroom floor corner needs more cleaning washroom door from the inside and toilet should be really clean

We stayed for a medical visit with an appointment at the U of A. It was a perfect location with less than 15 min drive at rush hour in the am and a great price. Tons of restaurants in the area however the onsite bar/restaurant was a perfect combination of ambiance and tasty treats. The rooms were large, the bed was comfortable and all the amenities one would need. Staff at check in, restaurant/ lounge and check out were beyond helpful, and provided amazing service.
