We arrived after dark & the property was beautifully lighted and tastefully decorated for an upcoming holiday. There was plenty of onsite parking, & the desk staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The quieter room request was accommodated, and fulfilled. Although the hotel doesn’t operate an onsite restaurant, there are several fast food options within a block, as is Boston Pizza. Original Joes is very close. The room was large, the queen beds very comfortable, and we appreciated the fridge & microwave. The bathroom was also very large, as was the newer tub/shower combo. There were plenty of fluffy towels, a hairdryer, and the washing amenities were available from pump dispensers.

The bathroom renovation now has the toilet set further from the paper dispenser that is housed on the vertical edge of the sink counter. I have fairly long arms. Anyone shorter than 5’6” would struggle to reach it. A child would never make it. Perhaps a freestanding dispenser could be provided.

Breakfast was good - nice variety .

We arrived at 2:10 - very unfriendly staff told us that ck in time is 3 PM - when asked if possible for an early ck in - a stern reply of - it will cost $50! I said “it’s less than an hour !” After checking with (assumed) manager the agreed to let us in at 230 - the room was obviously ready - not sure what the big deal was - never been a problem elsewhere to ck in early if room is ready. When time to ck out I asked for a receipt - was told by same stern and unfriendly staff - no - you booked with Bookings.com that’s where you get your receipt! I always book rooms with bookings.com - and hotels always give me a recipes ! So that’s my complaint - on the bright side , rooms were clean and comfortable- included a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast had quite a nice variety - but no fruit .

This hotel is great for us. The room has a sitting room area with settee, coffee table, desk, office chair and large chest of drawers. There is a large screen TV on the wall. The bathroom is a good size with a bath with shower over, a hair dryer and hooks for towels. The bedroom has a large bed, a large chest of drawers, an easy chair, large screen TV and two bedside cabinets. There is a large storage bench opposite the bathroom door, a fridge, microwave and storage cupboards. We generally stay for 10 - 14 days at a time so really appreciate the storage and space. A new addition to breakfast this year was hard boiled eggs which was great for us.

The breakfast is included but nothing special. It is not a reason not to stay though. The coffee is good and there is plenty of choice but most things are high sugar which is not suitable for us.

Location was on the same floor as our room, great. Breakfast was good but different. The poor girl who prepared breakfast had no idea on how to make scrambled eggs thus nobody touched her creation. Oh , the recommendation of eating or visiting George's across the hwy was excellent.

No complaints, just suggestion that to do a test run with new employees beforehand to avoid any unnecessary situations for any new staff members. Easy fix to achieve excellence.

Lakeview Inn was such a pleasant surprise for us on our Canadian road trip. The place really exceeded our expectations, the room was lovely clean and spacious, the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The Inn itself has cute decor and a nice charm to it. Overall really we enjoyed our night here, great value for money. Not much to do around as its by the side of a busy road, but lots of fast food places within walking distance for dinner.

Would need to have a car to stay here :)

Competitively-priced, up-to-date, comfortable accommodation in Okotoks with a complementary hot breakfast. An Original Joes restaurant is located next door, and a Wendy’s and Tim Horton’s are across the street.

We wanted to check in early if only to get our room key for our later return but the hotel manager disallowed this; I thought that was unreasonable of him.

The breakfast was great, the evening staff were so much fun, and there was a beautiful staircase to the second floor (elevator as well).

The property is a little well used, the sink in our room sprayed everywhere when the water was on, and showed signs of wear and staining, there were dark hand prints on the shower curtain, and I’m not sure who designed the toilet paper holder locations, but they must of had really long arms.

After a long drive from the States in very cold (-35°) and very snowy weather, this accommodation was perfect. I asked for quiet and it was ideal. The bonus was breakfast included. I have already recommended this facility to friends.

Perfect for my needs. Relieved they could accept me on short notice too. The buffet breakfast was good but perhaps needed a bit more guest guidance/signage. I fumbled around looking for milk for my coffee, and although it was in an under counter refrigerator (<— good place) I had to ask.

The staff here are always awesome

I’ve stayed here 4 times now. The pull out beds are so uncomfortable. With all due respect, new mattresses or a topper would be a wonderful thing. If you had rooms with separate sleeping quarters (2 beds with 1 private separate bedroom) I’m sure you’d book that! Sometime people just want a separate bedroom. This time our carpet wasn’t done properly, there’s was no bar soap, and there was still a coffee pod in the coffee maker. We will still come back though, as it’s still our little getaway, and everyone there is wonderful!

There was a card in the washroom asking to help conserve and to hang your towels if you didn't require clean ones the following day and put the card on the pillow if the linen was ok which we did. When we returned to our room is was cleaned to perfection and the towels were replaced and the soap that was used twice was replaced. Don't put the card out if you aren't going to adhere to it.
