The hyatt : a great location, you are close to restaurants like ihop and Ozeki. You are within walking distance to strip malls etc. Orchard park is within 5 minutes and city park is just ten minutes away. The room : A very clean and modern style, we were very impressed by the finishes (floor etc) and the bathroom was higher end finishes. The room we chose for our honeymoon was a king size bed with couch making the room more like a flat. There is a modern big screen smart tv, very comfy bed and very quiet room ( we were by the elevator yet never heard it once). Make sure you sign up for world of hyatt awards it cuts the parking fee in half. ( free to sign up). The weight room is good enough, has a set of dumbells up to 50 and a cable machine with basic attachments. Pool and hot tub are good enough to relax and destress from the day. And dont forget about Kali the rooftop bar and the Placery. We didnt go to Kali but I did eat at the Placery, wife had a boss burger and I had the gluten free vegetarian option ( yes they offer GF buns I was in heaven haha). The parkade was very big and very clean. I honestly cannot say enough good things, The breakfast was very good, but nothing really for vegan vegetarians / gluten free. (Salad apple banana made it not worth 12$ for me, but for every one else its a great option and super tasty). If there was GF vegan options it was not clearly labeled and I am embarrassed to ask the chef whats in it. > only knock, like I said for non allergy, non restrictive diets the breakfast is super tasty! No GF, vegetarian option 15% of people roughly or vegetarian : vegan, and out of those 15% about 20% have a Gluten allergy. I would like better labels for those who have allergies and dietary restrictions. I felt alienated as there was nothing there for me…I had coffee for 12$ :(

The room is spacious, the A/C works great, especially important when there's a heatwave in Kelowna! Breakfast was good and staff were super friendly and helpful.

I can't fault the Hotel, but some Albertan parked in the handicap spot without a handicap placard. This was frustrating because it makes it really tight to squeeze my wife's wheelchair between the vehicles in the normal spots. Staff attempted to contact the owner to no avail. Staff kept trying and later than night the person moved. The first day we had an issue with the door to our room not locking, but staff were able to get that fixed while we ate breakfast.

Once we got moved to the room we booked the rest of the stay was excellent.

Upon check in, they had us in a smaller room than we had actually booked. We spent the first night in the small room. It was rectified the next morning. I don't enjoy breakfast sausage, but the breakfasts alternate between sausage and bacon. I just figured that now that I have to pay a fee, I would get to choose, but I was told no. In the past I could ask for a plate of bacon on sausage days. Also they used to put out soft tortillas so people could make breakfast wraps, they no longer do this, and were really confused when I asked for some. I don't particularly find the beds comfortable, next time I will bring a memory foam.

The breakfast was not enough for all the guests staying at the hotel and after 30 min it started there was only yogurt and butter left :(

I like the ambiance and most important is the breakfast it helps in time consuming , especially the guest is busy rushing in the morning that don't have time to order or go to nearest restaurant .

The cleanliness is good but not thoroughly because we found some kids' stuff under the sofa bed when we lift it to convert it into a bed, and not all dirty towels were changed, but over all is clean.Maybe they should check that everything is thoroughly clean ,fill and arrange before they leave the room .This is just a reminder for better improvement. Thank you for accommodating my family ,we still come back to this place one day .

Staff was amazing. We had an interaction with Anna, and she was so polite and respectful, eager to help. The underground parking place was specious and close to the elevators. Rooms are relatively specious and very clean. Some complementary water bottles were left at the room after housekeeping finish cleaning it. Breakfast staff did above and beyond so that nothing will miss and that all guests will leave the dining room full and satisfied. The hotel's location is great, in addition there is a big grocery shop down the street.

I didn't like like the shower at all, the stream is so weak and there is no hand-held shower head option. The shower floor has a "step" down to where the water drains to, my feet slipped into that lower part twice, unsafe, in my opinion. The TV in the rooms is big and its angle can be adjusted which is great! But when trying to watch YouTube it's not an easy task. You'll have to cast the YouTube app from your phone onto the TV and than the remote doesn't operate properly.. why couldn't it just have YouTube like every other smart TV?? Last, the matres was too soft and I woke up with back pain.

For the price, the room was a decent value. I have stayed in your similar properties before. I tend to like higher end lodging but sometimes location wins out. Hyatt does a good job with the actual room compared to the competition. The desk staff did a satisfactory job, were professional and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. I used to work as a hotel manager.

Noise would have been a definite problem but I travel with earplugs. The noise did not seem like other rooms were being unreasonable, just that the sound insulation seemed poor. Most importantly, the free breakfast was so poor looking I just left and got a decent one elsewhere. Honestly, I probably would have been happier paying the same price with no breakfast included. I did not eat other meals at the restaurant as had not faith in the quality after seeing breakfast. At least that way, I would not have felt like I received a poor level of service as part of my stay.

Really nice modern hotel with good facilities and nice rooms. Nice bar area with good food.

We had room 501 which had a window with no blackout blind, lots of road noise and a constant vibration/humming through the headboard from some kind of motor or fan. Worst night sleep in a hotel I’ve had (or not had!). Told reception next morning and weren’t bothered. Family members staying in next room, 503 and that was fine.

The room was really nicely set up with a good working desk and a comfortable bed. the breakfast was actually pretty good - sometimes these free hotel breakfasts are a bit ... beige ... but this one was tasty with some good options. The location was close to where I needed to be but the view is kind of meh (looking south) and it is just off the main highway behind a strip mall. The north view overlooks the golf course so is probably much nicer.

Food was great, there were options for the whole family to enjoy, including allergy aware menu items. We all really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the exercise room. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful!

The TV app that syncs to our phones was a bit finicky and didn't create for a seamless experience playing music or watching a show. We got it figured out but it took a bit of time.
