Pulled up in a taxi and it looked a little tired and I was like "oh no what have I booked" (travelling for work). I didn't need to worry. Right from the moment I walked up the desk I got a warm welcome and efficient friendly service. Highlights - Jordan and the comprehensive continental breakfast was the best start to my day each day. Chris helping me with all sorts of odd problems including helping to find my phone when I lost it while being totally sympathetic. Housekeeping tolerating my bike box in the corner of my cosy comfy room. Really close to shops for food, London Drugs and a large farmers' market is just over the bridge at Landmark twice a week. There was a broad mix of other guests and it always felt safe.

Nothing, it was ideal for what I needed.

It looks a bit rough on the outside when you arrive - which had us a little concerned. However, our room with the kitchenette was great. Everything was clean and we had a full functional kitchen! The outside grill and patio was an amazing space to eat. We appreciated having a designated smoking section where we could actually sit down and relax. We didn't play the games that were set up on the lawn but lots of people did. Many families spent time at the bbq/picnic area and with the games. It created a really nice atmosphere. We were in Kelowna for surgery and the hotel was close to the hospital.

The breakfast could have been better. There was no cutlery out so I went through the cupboards and found some and put it out for everybody. Maybe some fresh fruit or a couple of healthy options would have been preferred....just bread, muffins, cereal and eggo waffles was a bit too much of carb overload for us....but I think this is a typical continental breakfast at a hotel.

Location is great. Close to amenities, shops and town. The room was well designed with unexpected privacy for a family room. Well prepared property information pack. Stand out is staff named Jordan that was super helpful that provided us ideas to make our stay more pleasant. Provided us plates and cutlery when she noticed us using the provided BBQ amenities without any and asked what else we needed. She also watched over the entire breakfast attending to guests, anticipating our every needs such as how to use the toaster, how everything worked and where the condiments are and such.

Just wished the rest of the staff were as attentive and intuitive as Jordan.

Staff (receptionist) were really friendly and helpful. The one who checked me out in the day called Kassie was super nice and friendly. I forgot something in the room and she was really nice and let me back in to get it. When I checked in, there was a lady with black hair but I don’t know her name. She works at a different location but same motel chain I believe. Anyway she was also really friendly. Asked if I needed anything and gave me a nice run down of things that I needed to know like wifi password, where to park and when breakfast was. It’s a standard motel very basic but it was clean and relatively quiet despite being near roads and noise. Also the place is nice and close to amenities which is super handy

The room was clean and inviting, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The reception staff (Leanne and Kassi) were delightful - so friendly and helpful. Good location, just off the main road, with two dining options just across the street. To have a basic breakfast provided was awesome; the selection was decent and the breakfast room was clean, pleasant and spacious. Nice outdoor area with seating, pool, and BBQs; although being winter we didn't utilise it.

The desk nook under the TV was dark and really needed a lamp - the only lighting in the room was from the two bedside lamps on the opposite wall. From the outside this place looks a little tired - in need of paint, and repairs to the parking lot asphalt - but in this case you really "can't judge a book by its cover".

Kris gave us a very friendly welcome at the very late check-in and gave us some useful tips.

The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful especially when I locked myself out of my room on the first day. I’d also like to say there is a triple-o’s and gas station right behind the building which was convenient for food

The phone rang at 10:30am each day and I would answer but nobody was on the line. Also the shower curtain was tangled when I first got there so I fixed it. At some point during the night the ac unit in my room grinded loudly for about 10 seconds then spit out a ton of things into the air that could have been plastic but then it went back to normal.

The property is cute and seems well maintained, a bit dated but you can see they have done some Reno’s.

My stay all in all was good, quiet and comfortable, my one complaint if I had to give them some constructive criticism would be, what they offer in the kitchens in the kitchenette suites, 1 pot, 1 pan although you can get the job done it is very hard to make much with just that, and it does lack some basic kitchen gadgets that are inexpensive but would boost the experience, a cheese grater and a strainer would have made it far easier, and possibly looking into placing a true kitchen knife into it as well opposed to a bread knife. However, I would choose to stay here again, and those small things are mere hiccups!

The motel had a great outdoor area to hang out in. Yard games, BBQ area, Picnic area and a pool with loungers. We came with a large group (soccer tourney) and this was the perfect location. It was close to everything and the kids were entertained the whole time we were hanging around in-between games. The staff was friendly and let the kids be kids which was so refreshing.

Our bathroom had some dirt on the floor when we checked in. Was not a big deal, everything else was clean.

They had upgraded my room which was nice. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff at desk and breakfast were friendly and helpful. I needed a document in an email printed out and they cheerfully did that for me.

The building itself appears a bit run down and in need of updates but you can see where they are putting improvements into the rooms which is what counts for me. The breakfast may be limited for some people's tastes but it was just fine for me. The location of the building is a bit of distance from restaurants but there is a pancake place and burger outlet within walking distance.
