The lodge itself is still very much a traditional, higher-end alpine sort of facility. It is surrounded with newer looking log cottages that add to the effect, making it a very attractive resort destination.

Our room ended up being just outside the mostly enclosed part of the hotel, more like a motel room. Not sure why the lodge would have been built that way. There were a couple maintenance issues like the dislodging, poorer quality toilet seat and the shower head that dropped out of position. The breakfast was not as organized as it could have been and staff was rather less than professional in dress and manner.

Beautiful location and view of the mountain from our window. The hotel was clean although the hot tub's chlorine burned our eyes and the water foamed a lot. The stairs in the pool room needed a better cleaning but the pool and sauna were very clean and lovely to use. The room was spotless. Being off season, the restaurant was slow (sat for over 10 minutes without anyone showing up), so we decided to eat in town, which was totally fine with us! The front desk staff and the cleaning staff were super friendly. Overall it was a great stay!

The hot tub needed to be a better balance of chlorine and the steps in the pool room needed to a cleaning.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is stunning, with incredible views that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway.

The only downside was the breakfast, it was quite limited in variety. A few more options would really elevate the experience. That said, everything else more than made up for it. I’d definitely stay here again!

At first, I thought I had booked the wrong place because it was so high up in the mountains and I had to continue up the mountain road to get to the hotel. However, it was a very healing place in itself. We stayed for 2 nights and all staff were very friendly, the mountain view from the balcony made us feel like we were camping, and the room was really warm and comfortable even though we were high up in the mountains. The breakfast was good as well. We were very satisfied and highly recommend this place.

It was a little hard to open and close the wooden drawer.

Our room was so comfortable. The beds. The pillows. The view. Why doesn’t anyone comment on the pillows more? The only thing I found odd was we were not provided with any face cloths. Had to use a hand towel.

The restaurant menu is minimal. When we went to order our dinner they were out of 4 main items. There were only about 8 items that were offered. The main desk worker even seemed embarrassed that they were out of so many items.

The breakfast was very good and the coffee was amazing. I had a friend stay a few days later there and had the same experience. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to issues we had.

The hot tub had a lot of chemicals, but being a public pool that probably has to be the case. I wish there were more walking paths around the property to go on a quick hike, but not walking on the highway.

Large room size for 2 king size beds. Good Size windows. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle. View of the mountain. Big ground and open space. Quiet because it is away from the town (10 minutes drive). Small but nice sized breakfast. Adventure company on property. Staff were friendly and communicates through email and paper notices about scheduled power outages by BC Hydro. Provides water bottles and flashlights in the event of a scheduled power outage.

Check-in & check-out was quick & easy. Individual chalet was nice to have for our family & pet. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, & sauna area after dinner. Breakfast being included was a nice touch.

All beds were in one common area/room, would have been more ideal to have separate rooms for the beds but we knew that going in. Accommodations located close proximity to major hydro-electric dam station.

The Hotel was beautiful. Didn't get a chance to use the additional amenities (pool, sauna etc.). The location was great as it was slightly out of main town, so very quiet and green. Close to a short nice waterfall hike. Breakfast was descent as well considering it was shoulder season.

The AC in the room was quite loud, so had a bit of a trouble falling asleep. Ear plugs would help. Nothing else really.

It was quiet (kind of deserted feeling) when we arrived. The hotel lobby was tidy and well kept. The receptionist was very friendly and helped to answer a few questions about the area, which we were unfamiliar with. Our room was ready a little early and we were able to check in right away. Indoor pool was great when it wasn't overflowing with guests.

The slightly redneck vibe outside the hotel was a bit unsettling at first. There is a 4-Wheeler rental shop which shares the parking lot. Grounds were unkept and patio furniture was strewn about the garden. Many flower pots around with dead foliage and no chairs to enjoy the huge veranda. Bathroom toilet needed servicing. I have never smelled anything as bad as the lobby washroom. As with so many places, they were understaffed and in dire need of a grounds keeper.
