I made a huge mistake on my reservation. I booked the wrong day! The young woman, I forgot to get her name, who took care of me merely pointed it out because it took her minute to.sort it.out and just made everything for the day I arrived. She was very kind and made me feel like it was no problem at all. I've recently been diagnosed with cognitive issues and I'm very self conscious about it. She had no way of knowing that. She just treated me with kindness. I'm.very grateful. I've worked in the hospitalily industry a very long time. This kind of customer service is exceptional.

It was very lovely! As in the video tour you see everything was new and great ocean vibe. Unfortunately didn't get the sun view 2nd floor but it face the back parking lot direction😅 (ample parking nonworry) ask for shelter restaurant breakfast coupon! I do enjoy the room design and bed was comfy ! Tv is upgrade too . Wine was on the house we appreciate that ! (Beer cost extra in fridges) It cost abit more than Victoria but once a while to come here isn't so bad. Surfing lesson shop all nearby + ebike rental ask the front desk ! Room temperature was easy to adjust . But ya overall I recommend come here !

I really liked this room for many reasons. I was surprised how quiet it was being on the Marina. Liked the view and totally appreciated the balcony. The room had a private bedroom with a fold out couch, which was very comfy. In the main room, the bed was also comfortable. The location was very good, close to restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

TV didn't work the second night, attendant wasn't able to help. I would suggest sprucing up the decks to make them more comfortable and inviting.

Location is perfect, easy to walk anywhere and right next to Shelter which has really good food, it also has a well kept gym with a nice view to the water and activity centre. The tv has Prime and netflix so you can log into your account and watch, good wifi for wfh, nice toiletries so no need to carry your own shampoo, soap, etc. Staff was helpful, friendly and overall very nice. It has parking and is very easy to find.

Balconies are only divided with a thin.. divider? So you can hear the conversations next to you very easily, same for the rooms if there's furniture moving or people walking on the top room you will hear it.

Great location situated just above the water front looking out over the bay. We had a fun and successful boat tour to see black bears, sea otters, seals and eagles organised by the onsite Adventure Centre. The onsite restaurant, Shelter, was very professionally run, offering great food at sensible prices; a great place to watch the sunset and the resident sea lion pottering about amongst the boats.

It’s about 15 minute walk to the centre of town, and the main supermarket and liquor store. The rooms looked over a car park, but were high enough to mean this didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the view.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and they were always eager to share tips and recommendations to enhance our stay. Overall, we liked the hotel a lot. It managed to seamlessly blend luxury with comfort, providing an exceptional stay that exceeded our expectations. Whether it was the beautifully designed rooms, the excellent dining, or the outstanding gym facilities, every element contributed to a memorable and enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a modern, clean, and luxurious getaway with excellent service and amenities.

The views and location were perfect for us. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, advising us of facilities and gave information/guidance where asked.

Would be nice to have an airer in the room if required and possibly an iron. I think irons were available upon request but we did not want to have to go and ask for one.

The location was good; right along the water and next to a fantastic restaurant, "Shelter". The bed was comfy, room was clean and you could walk to town centre.

The price was excessive for a motel room with no view, but it was the least expensive we could find. We were on the ground floor and you could hear the guests upstairs walking around.

Friendly staff with great care. We took the seaplane so it’s really easy for us to get to the hotel. The room is well set for most comfort and the bed is very comfortable and I had the best sleep. The laundry is complimentary.

It a little further to the CBD about 15 minutes walk but not too bad. The TV is not smart TV, no YouTube or Netflix. Our room is on ground floor and the view is the parking lot. Also we can hear the upstairs tenant walking, drainage sound of shower and toilet flushing.

The location was excellent and a huge bonus with the onsite well equipped gym for guest use. A gym on the water with a view!!! Loved it! Also, very convenient to have Shelter restaurant pretty much onsite, though it would be great if they held some reservations for hotel guests.
