We had a suite with a kitchenette, but had breakfast at the in-house restaurant at least one day. It was price-worthy as well as enjoyable. Staff was attentive and helpful. Room service was every three days, which meets my desire for privacy and not over-doing towel and bedding exchanges. We had a couple of problems with our room, but the staff was accommodating and addressed our needs in a reasonable time frame. The bed was super comfortable, wish I had that at home. We also made use of the pool/sauna on a couple of days and that was nice after a long day of touring. Furthermore, you have to check out the pub/bar upstairs. Live music 7 nights a week and solid pub fair for takeout. We tried the pizza, burgers, and fish and chips — it was all good. We made use of the laundry facilities on several days as well.

There was nothing we didn't like. Front desk staff was awesome, proximity to public transit was solid, it was easy to get to local supermarkets and other businesses.

The room was a decent size and had a kitchen which was an unexpected surprise. The beds were comfortable too! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Loft Pub kitchen closed at 8 which limited the dinner options available, esp after a long day at a tradeshow one doesn't want to go looking for food. I did order something from Uber Eats but it would have been nice to grab something on my way to the room, instead of coming back out to the lobby to pick up the food.

The room was comfortable and quite large. The bed was good and the room was very clean.

I had asked for drive up parking due to mobility challenges which was available sometimes. Other times when there were a lot of customers in the Pub, I had to park quite a distance away which was difficult. It would be good if room parking could be 'signed' reserved for patrons requesting mobility parking spots.

The bed was comfortable,, with lots of good pillows, although the sprung bedframe/base was squeaky when moving around. There is a shower/tub in bathroom with no shortage of hot water.I had a suite with kitchen, but didn't get mch use of it for the short time I was in the room. The location is perfect, by the Gorge and the Galloping Goose trail for those who love to walk or bike around. You can drive just about anywhere in Victoria ( Royal Jubilee Hospital, museums, Legislature Buildings, sea wall, Beacon Hill Park etc.) in around 15 minutes. Online check-in and check-out was convenient and requested early check-in was accommodated by the hotel. Also, lots of free parking around both sides of the hotel, convenient to rooms' access.

Breakfast was not included in price. Breakfast is served in Coachman restaurant; lunch and dinner in The Loft Pub., where, it seems, many boisterous locals hang out.

I truly appreciate the staff members, especially Charmaine. It was really nice that she remembered us from our previous visit and she knew why we were there visiting. I like that the Days Inn is next to the Gorge, and we have a beautiful view of downtown. As well as, the location is perfectly close to the Galloping Goose pathway, which makes getting to the ocean easier to watch the sunrises or sunsets 🌇. Plus, the Days Inn is also in walking distance to the Mayfair Mall and The Uptown Mall.

There isn't much that I didn't like about the Days Inn and the staff. The only little complaint I have is that it would be beneficial to guests if an ATM machine is accessible outside of the bar. Because we did need to use it, but it was not working. We ended up going to another place down the street to use their ATM machine.

As a stop over on road trip this hotel hit the mark , did not have lift for upper floor as was detailed so you would have to request 1st or ground floor ,but still facilities were great including the swimming pool , and entertainment which was a pleasant surprise , and not loud in room , staff always friendly and helpful and coffee from reception freshly brewed tasty ,the surrounding area seemed safe and parking was no issue , nice walk of 30 min to centre of Victoria , shopping mall also close by 10 min drive , thank you

The location is right beside the galloping goose. We brought our bikes and just biked everywhere right from the property. Our room was quite large as we got a suite. It was really nice to have the kitchen.

Property could use some fixing up and cleaning up. The couch was super uncomfortable to sit on. However I would consider this a budget accommodation and would stay again as I think the price was quite reasonable.

Even though the building itself is pretty worn out and there is no elevator, inside the room was very clean and very well maintained. There is shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryer. The location is great, you can take a walk to the downtown or use water taxi near by.

The pillows were uncomfortable. We had a fridge, it was very loud, but we were able to turn it off. We stayed for 4 nights, but there was no room service. We could have claimed it, but we were OK with contributing to environmental sustainability.

Spacious room with equipped kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds. Despite appearing to be quite busy, it was very quiet. Noise levels minimal. Enjoyed their onsite pub/restaurant with live music. This was our second time visiting and we will definitely consider staying again.

Road construction/ congestion getting to and from downtown. No fault of the property, just that time of year.

Clean, good internet, nice pool, friendly staff. Big kitchenette. Good value.

Found a bag of food someone else ordered outside my door from, I am guessing, the night before as I was leaving to find somewhere for breakfast. Told housekeeping that it could be thrown in the garbage as I passed them and it was still there 8 hours later. Wasn't a fan of the neighbourhood.
