Families should definitely consider staying here without hesitation. It’s truly a very clean hotel and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of hot and cold options. The room’s design and cleanliness were up to European standards. There are security guards both in the parking lot and inside the hotel, which makes you feel very safe. We didn’t experience any issues and really enjoyed our stay.

We chose this hotel because the location was the most convenient to a family wedding we attended. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The free breakfast wasn't the best that we had at hotels, but it was fine. It's the sign of the times when businesses need to hire security at night. The bathroom lighting was bad.

It was a really nice hotel that was actually really comfortable. For a big hotel it was quiet, and served a good breakfast. It also has a fairly nice pool with a kid friendly shallow end and little bit deeper water for older folks. I also liked the eco-friendliness of wipes in the bathroom for messes like makeup. The hotel is also super close to shopping and eating. It even has decent tv channels to watch.

Nothing here was really "bad". Breakfast could have maybe had at least one more waffle maker and maybe some bacon to go with the sausage. The pool is nice but maybe a bit small for the size of the hotel. There always seemed to be a housekeeping cart in the hallway.

Price, availability, nice big rooms.

When I called down to inquire about a later checkout, the young lady who answered sounded abruptly rude. She sounded like a child, a rude child. I have never experienced a staff member at any other hotel I've stayed at sound like that. Maybe a training course in politeness should be considered when hiring.

The breakfast bar was exceptional with lots of choices. There was adequate seating in the breakfast area. The location was in an area of Selkirk which was close to all amenities. It was very quiet being on the edge of the city.

I have never found things that I do not like at the Canalta and we have stayed in your hotels in many places. The price seems a bit high but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

Staff were very helpful and kind, especially Jennifer at the front desk. Location was good, close to stores and restaurants. They provide you with proper plates, glasses/cups and cutlery at breakfast and to use in your room.

Excellent staff! Clean and spacious facility. Beautiful pool!!! My kids said it was the best mini vacation ever. Thanks Canalta staff for hospitality and generosity.

Nothing to dislike, was completely impressed.

Stayed for the weekend for my best friends wedding, it was an awesome stay. Enjoyed the pool area, our room was perfect for what we needed, clean, open, bright.

1 thing I didn't love were the pillows. But everything else was awesome.
