We loved our suite condo style with kitchen it was comfortable. We had a couple of small issues that were resolved quickly. Convertor stopped working, we needed a steak knife and our hair dryer stopped working i actually think its the plug that doesn't work in the bathroom please check room 410.

My hubby and I wanted to take advantage of the pool and hot tub but I noticed every morning i was working out that pure Javax bleach was being poured into the pool and hot tub with NO measurements. And not once did anyone whole I was there take any sort of water measurements. A little sketchy to me. So needless to say we did not take advantage of the very high and STRONG chlorine smelling pool and hot tub.....a must look into.

I will never again book at this hotel. Not because of the facilities or the staff. But because of management. Book 2 night for my daughter, who is 17, for medical visit at Janeway. Dad was unable to accompany. She goes to check in. With all documentation for her reason of the visit. And was told you are not 19 and you have to leave now. No offer to help. Receptionist even offered her a room at her home. Manager told her you do your fired. Thankfully a traveling couple agreed to take responsibility for my daughter and she got to stay and go to her appointment. There are some wonderful people in this world. Just not the management at this hotel.

Lovely modern clean good facilities.

I had requested a crib for my 1 year old in advance. The crib was not set up when we arrived but I was told there were 3 beds in the room and that they would chase this for me. They then called the room to say there wasn’t 1 available - even though I had requested this and had it confirmed weeks before. Really frustrating as it meant that my baby wasn’t as safe as they should have been and struggled to get to sleep. Luckily my child is nearly 1 but if they had been younger this could have been a real safety issue!

The beds were very comfy and it was a quiet room which we requested (on 6th floor). The Wifi was good. There were sufficient amenities. After we checked out and drove for 2 hours toward Gander, I realized I had left my meds and thermal bag in the fridge. I phoned right away and they were kind enough to keep my bag, freezer packs and meds in their fridge until we returned to St. John's almost 4 weeks later. Nice and accommodating staff!!!

As soon as we walked into the front entrance, there was a 'musty' smell probably from the carpet.

Super convenient location. Close to the airport but also situated along the main road that leads to downtown and all must-see sites. Also, the staff are amazing. They’re friendly, engaging, helpful, and the cleaning staff seemed excited to be doing their important but often undervalued job. This, I would say, is a positive reflection on the hotel’s management.

The property was excellent, it’s always people that cause any issue, such as a loud, loud dispute between people two rooms down from us.

Everything was well and good. The pool was well enjoyed, comfy beds, and wonderful staff.

Unfortunately, at about 2 a.m., when the washroom facilities needed to be used. We noticed 6 or more silverfish pests wriggling about on the bath mat just outside the shower. This was on the 4th floor. A little unsettling. Balled up the bath mat and tossed into the shower until morning. Later, when awaking, went in the washroom, shook the mat in the shower to find them all...proceeded to wash them down the drain. Then I shook out everything of ours (suitcases and such) that had touched the floor of the entire room before packing for the next day.

Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional and went above and beyond to make our experience great. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.The bed was so comfortable :) Will definitely stay here next time we visit St. John's! Thank you!!!

The batteries in the remote gave us some grief and needed to be replaced.

This was an amazing place to stay! The the staff were wonderful and exceptionally helpful with anything we required. The proximity to different places was convenient and the attached restaurants provided a very convenient dining experience. Highly recommend staying here. The price was comparable to the services received and we would stay there again.

There really isn't anything we didn't like about this hotel.

Location was excellent with easy access to the airport, city and surrounds. My room was excellent and I loved the convenience of a noon check out. Typical of Newfoundland, staff were friendly and helpful

With neck problems, I had requested [ on line ] a small/flat pillow. But I was given a large 'firm' pillow. I was just too busy to stop by the desk to make the change so some of this falls on me. I used a towel to create a pillow. Note that pillows are just as important as the mattress for a good and important rested sleep !

Good spot for touring without being in town centre.. cafe and two restaurants next door. Free delicious morning coffee in lobby.

A damage deposit or reserve of funds infers that the customer cannot be trusted to look after the room. A hotel is not a car rental, I was offended by this.
