Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston Review I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston for 5 days and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is clean, and I appreciated that the staff tidied up the room daily. Its location isn’t right in downtown Kingston, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it convenient. The lobby has an ATM and vending machines, which were handy. The complimentary breakfast, however, was a letdown—very basic and low quality, so I ended up eating out most mornings. Despite that, the hotel itself is nice for the price, and I’d consider staying again if I’m in the area.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our need for extra towels and pillows. The hotel itself was very clean. There was a cute little Gazebo outside and an outdoor patio to sit and enjoy breakfast or drinks. There is a bar in the lobby, and prices are quite reasonable. We absolutely loved the 24 hr Tea and Coffee availability in the lobby. Breakfast was always great and kept filled and included fruits, cereals, oatmeal, boiled eggs, toast, pancakes, yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, milk, cream, peanut butter, jam, jelly, maple syrup, butter, etc. The location is amazing, close to a lot of big-name restaurants and stores. Nearby stores are Beer Store, LCBO, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollorama, No Frills, and Bulk Barn. Restaurants nearby are Montana's, One Eyed Jack Restaurant, Tim Horton's, Starbucks, McDonald's, Arby's, Harvey's, Dairy Queen, A&W, Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza, and KFC. We have stayed here a couple of times, and it has been wonderful.

The pool area needs repairs and updating. I wish the pool water was warm and the hot tub was in working condition. We stayed twice within a period of 3 weeks; the pool was not warm as mentioned in the description, and the hot tub was still broken. They are still waiting for some parts of the hot tub to be delivered. Warm scrambled eggs for breakfast would be a nice addition. Another Pancake machine would definitely be an asset and worth investing in, as it takes a while for the pancakes and causes unnecessary lineups. But these are definitely not deal breakers; still worth staying.

The rooms were comfortable and big. The pool and spa were great to relax in the evening.

They were a little wasteful: the cutlery in the breakfast area was made of plastic and we got new soap every day although the old one would have been sufficient. The windows could not be opened, but there was an AC. It was a bit complicated to turn off if you didn't want to listen to the constant noise. I also didn't enjoy the breakfast. Everything was sweet / unhealthy (jam, pancakes, maple syrup, joghurt, oats, cornflakes, peanut butter, toast) except for eggs, mandarins and bananas, which is not much to choose from.

Great location, close to attractions in Kingston and easy access to the 401. The free breakfast was simple but nutritious with fruit, eggs and yogurt available along with toast, pancakes and cereal. The microwave and fridge in the room were clean and perfect for saving and re-heating our leftovers from our nights out.

The fitted sheet used on our king bed was too small and ended up pulling off the corners every night while we slept. Good thing there was a mattress protector. The AC unit was loud when it engaged, but we got used to it. Same with the mini fridge. There were no bedside lamps on the nightstands, which we thought was odd.

The kids loved the pool and hot tub. They also really liked that they were able to use their personal netflix/YouTube subscriptions on the big TV in the room. And the pancake machine. I really appreciated the bananas and oranges at breakfast, and being able to take my coffee out to the patio. I really liked the Dove soap and shampoo. The hotel is close to 401 highway and walkable to many restaurants and shopping, including pharmacy.

It's was a short stay. Got in at 1 am, left at 5 am. The front desk staff went.above and beyond. Hearing I was leaving at 5 and breakfast was at 6, they offered to have the coffee machine ready for 5. When I got to the breakfast, the eggs were out, the toaster was heated, the coffee was ready to go. To those in the know? It might seem like they just turned on a few appliances and hour early. For me, it set up my day to win. I truly appreciated the experience and the staff.

Hotel is clean, staff are friendly, amenities are good, hotel is close to everything I needed, lots of restaurants close by and breakfast is good..

We had some issues with the TV in the room and couldn't get it to work in the morning. Reported it to the front desk at check-out and was told that I should have called the front desk to complain. I am not a complainer and it wasn't important at that point in time as we were leaving. I guess I thought that the front desk would have made a note for someone to check it out....maybe he did but I didn't see that. I'm sure the guest will take care of that.

The room was clean and everything looked new. Beds were comfortable ad we slept well. Location is convenient close to 401. There was enough parking. The breakfast was simple but enough: boiled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, toasts, cereal and coffee. The breakfast room was a bit overcrowded at 9 am.

The walls are pretty thin. We heard a person next doors snoring and at 6 am our neighbors started talking and woke us up. I put earplugs and fell asleep again.

The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very nice with good water pressure and temperature. The staff was very friendly. Our family really appreciated the breakfast included, which had a good amount of nutritious options.

The pool and hot tub were a nice feature and one of the reasons I chose to book at Days Inn. The hot tub wasn't totally clean. I don't think the filtration system was working properly.

The place was clean, neat and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Amenities were awesome. Room was clean. Liked having fridge and microwave. Lobby bar is a nice touch. Outside patio is a great idea. Liked the gazebo. Loved that I could park my car outside my patio door - that's a plus!

I didn't like the noise -the people on top of us could be heard walking around - maybe they were heavy-footed but we could definitely hear them. We could also hear the TV in the next room - perhaps that was extra loud but we could definitely hear that as well. And then, there were the things that are out of your control, such as the children running and playing in the hallways and the people who choose to leave their garbage in the hallways, and I am not referring to the garbage from the rooms that is waiting to be picked up by staff. I am specifically referring to beer cans, candy wrapped, spilled cereal, etc.
