Room: very clean. Two queen-size beds as requested, were very comfortable, with 3 pillows each and crisp white bedding. Large enough room, with good TV, mid-size fridge, Microwave oven, small coffee machine with coffee/tea facilities, ice bucket, iron and board as well as hairdryer in cupboard. Suitcase rack. Desk with armchair. Enough lights and special USB recharging ports (very important these days!) Small cupboard useful to hang 5-6 items. Fast heating/cooling system but with worn-out buttons. Housekeeping half-way through our 4-night stay. Bathroom: Newly renovated, nice white fluffy towels, facecloths. Good water pressure. Breakfast room: Buffet-style with new pancake machine, syrup, choice of 4 kinds of yoghurt in fridge, choice of breads, English muffins, cheese muffins, milk, cream, jams, peanut-butter, fresh fruit (bananas and yummy Gala apples), cold cereals, individual packets of hot cereals to make. Coffee + tea, orange juice. Parking: free outside our room.
Beds: though extremely comfortable, they were about 30cm too high! A slight danger for anyone with slight mobility issues due to age, like us. We stayed over Christmas and we would have liked more than one thin blanket on each bed, or at least a choice. We didn't think to ask... Bathroom: though recently renovated, we strongly feel that each bath/shower, needs a GRAB BAR or two! We were fearful of falling due to new but sleek bath bottom as nothing to hold onto!

Under renovations. Not many rooms occupied. Not much put out for breakfast. However. The person on staff noticed me and called my room to let me know of options available that was not out. Very helpful and very pleasant to deal with
I could have been told in advance the extra cost for having my two dogs stay with me. One of the reasons I picked this motel was it advertised as per friendly but did not have price of pets mentioned in advertising. Also do not see garbage can outside to dispose of pet waste. Lucky for us our dogs pooped at the dog park a few blocks away

This hotel worked well as a transit stop — it was clean and functional, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind, taking the time to offer us a room well-suited for our group of three. The breakfast was very minimal, even compared to other basic hotels we’ve stayed at in Canada. It seems to reflect the hotel’s purpose as a stopover spot rather than a destination for vacationers. The real highlight of our stay was the helpful and friendly check-in service.

The staff at reception (I think his name was Sept, my apologies if the spelling is not correct) was very friendly and helpful. He addressed our issue during with our booking and made our stay a pleasant memory. Rooms were cleaned and recently renovated, everything thoughtfully placed.
Indoor access halls to the rooms were not renovated . It could have been done as beautiful as what did for rooms and brought a fresh look to the indoor completely.

We booked at short notice for one night and we were happy to find a fridge, TV, aircon, and coffee making equipment in our clean room. We could open a small window but chose to close it so we couldn't hear traffic noise and the occasional train noise. The bed was comfortable. It's only a 10 minute drive along Princess St to downtown Kingston and the lake from the hotel. Recommended!
We stayed on the second floor so it was a bit far to take our luggage past reception, up the stairs and along the corridor to our room.

Staying at Ramada was an amazing experience. In the beginning I was quite sceptical of staying but was later amazed by the experience that we had. From breakfast to room, everything was perfect and looking forward to stay again.

Rooms have been recently renovated. Met our needs for a one-night stopover.
Breakfast was basic. Common areas are not yet renovated. Fine for the one-night stopover.
