The room was nice. It is in an interesting area, near many embassies. There is noise from the road but that is expected given the location. Parking was easy. The breakfast was good and the hostess was very nice.

We arrived a bit later than we had expected. There was a sign on the door with a telephone number to call. Unfortunately my SIM card did not work in Ottawa and I couldn't call it. They had sent e-mail with instructions but we had left early and did not receive it. There were a couple frantic minutes figuring out what to do. Once that was solved everything was fine. I would suggest that the e-mail be sent a day or two ahead.

This b&b is amazing! Super clean, cozy, quiet, good breakfast, safe neighbourhood, private parking space and close to great restaurants and shops. And only half an hour scenic walk to the parliament buildings. Or take a bus which stops in front of the b&b. We haven’t seen the the staff but they provided detailed check-in information. And asked us if we were happy during our stay. And yes we were!!

Everything was good.

Breakfast was continental style but of very good quality.

My only disappointment as having to share a bathroom,and having to walk down aflight of stairs to use it. On the other hand the bathroom, like the rest of the house, was spotless. I wasn't aware that my room was not 'en suite', but I am the first to admit that may have been my mistake in misreading the description of the property. Nevertheless, my stay was very comfortable.

Mya were extremely helpful when I arrived and needed to accommodate my luggage in the house, before the check-in time. The bedroom was super comfortable: AC and heat systems available, the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean! Also, the breakfast was very complete, with a variety of foods (eggs, fruits, pastries, juice, etc).

The house is beautiful. It is old but has a lot of charm. The communication with the host was very good and she was extremely accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and very close to downtown and Parlament. It is the second time coming here and we will come back

It is not cheap, but everywhere got expensive these days. The price is at the same level with similar accomodation

Location was important on this trip. Location was perfect. The owners are very nice people and made me feel like at home. The facility is extremely clean and comfortable. Very quiet and friendly. Everyting you need to be comfortable. I can not praise thsi B&B enought or the owners either. Recommend this place highly and will stay there again the next time I go to Ottawa. . Wonderful owners and beautiful place. Very very very nice people. Like family,

Nothing. It was perfect. Note it is a Bed and Breakfast. so don't expect it to be a hotel. This is like staying with family or friends when to go to visit them. So don't complain about it not being a hotel like place, it is not suppose to be a hotel. . This family has opened up their home to share it with guests.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and kept us full through the entire day of sightseeing! The rooms & bathrooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The host is so attentive in making sure you're comfortable during your stay and is extremely thoughtful - even offering tea in the evenings!

The house is a little old, so the floor creaks quite a bit when people are coming in and out of the house. But the old-ness of the house is part of what gives it the charm and beauty!

Beautifully renovated building with a special appreciation of historic design.

Overall, a nice experience, just a few details: the air conditioning is a single device for all rooms. You cannot adjust it inside your room. Windows cannot be opened instead since the sliding parts got painted.

Irina was very helpful. Having bikes available was a real plus. The neighborhood is nice and very walkable. We were provided a map and recommendations on things to do and where to walk. The omelets at breakfast were good.

We were expecting a refrigerator and microwave as advertised in our room amenities. The owners occupy their kitchen so using those facilities was not really an option. Irina gave us some ice when we arrived, but we were not able to get any after check-in. We had the best, and only room with a private bath. It was described as “Deluxe”, but is not at all deluxe compared to other rooms we have booked anywhere.

Charming house with a big comfortable communal living room and large table for breakfast. Irena was a great host. My room was small but comfortable with a nice desk and coffee maker in the room, Decent amount of space to store your stuff. It was very clean. Breakfasts were large and tasty. Felt comfortable and at home. One of the nicest places I've had in Ottawa in this price range. Perfect location if you're there for the one of the local embassies..

It's about a 20 minute walk to Downtown with no convenient public transit options. There was a bar to hang clothes but strangely no hangers. Room was small with slanted roof. Window has no screen so bugs are an issue at night. Only 1 bathroom for 6 people meant line ups in the morning.
