The accommodation was as clean as you would hope for it to be. It was quite a generous-sized space, and comfortable - again, just as you would want it to be. The bathroom was also clean and everything functioned as it should. The staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Parking was either just outside the building, with a parking cost - we didn't make use of it, although it would be convenient - or in a street a short distance away (parking permitted in 2 zones - 1 a bit further away down the road, from the evening till 10 am the next day, and the other, closer, but with parking only until 8 or 8.30 am (I forget which). There was a short cut through to this road via a pedestrian path from the building entrance to a gate giving onto the road where parking is permitted.

Rooms were spacious, clean and total value for money. Staff were very quick with both check in and check out. They even told us we can leave the luggage after check out inside their office space upon inquiring but we decided not to leave as it would make us take another trip back.

I wish there was a complimentary water bottle provided in rooms as that is a standard practice in most places and even the vending machine had no drinking water onsite. I also wish there was a better sign posting of the name of Residence and Conference Centre.

It’s a college dorm, so cleanliness and maintenance can be a challenge, but the staff does the best they can. Our room had some outlets that didn’t work that the staff tried to resolve. Important - If you have any sort of mobility concerns, this isn’t a good idea as it’s built for college kids. The floors are slippery and there’s no handles in the shower.

Location worked for us, Compared to other residences that we stayed at, St Paul's was so peaceful and quiet. We did not have to walk very very far to our rooms. Also the beds were in excellent condition, not lumpy, I slept right through the night. This is a difference maker.

Unfortunately , the parking is not under the university control. But it would be helpful if the parking fee was on one bill, as opposed to purchasing a ticket nightly. But that is minor.

Location was great. Staff were friendly and avaliable when needed. 2 bedrooms were lovely to have, lots of space for our family of 4 to stay in.

The bathroom light didn't work and the fan vent in the bathroom was hanging down. The beds were not comfortable for sleeping.

I stayed this residence during Ottawa Race Weekend for my marathon. Pretty close to the city hall (2.5km) and they have their own parking lots ($15 / day). There are two bedrooms / microwave / fridge and they offered a late checkout for runners on the race day. It was a nice experience and recommend for a short trip in Ottawa.

Don't expect hotel-like cleanliness and services. But the front staff was friendly and attentive.

Student housing rented out during the summer break - what a clever idea. The apartment we had was two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette and was clean and comfy. It completed exceeded our expectations for a night's stay while we explored Ottawa. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave, available parking (at an extra charge).

Dishes and cutlery would be helpful.

You get exactly what you pay for. Not too far from the city centre. Good transport links with the metro and bus services. The area has interesting shops and eateries. And is quite close to the canals. So, this makes a wonderful walking highlight.

I loved the fact sun comes through the tree leaves and cast its light through the window to my room in the morning. I saw beautiful sunrise at 5am one time.

Shower head could be better, and I wish there was hairdryer. 1 bottle of water per day would be nice too :)

This is such a good value accommodation. Lots of space, very close to downtown attractions - we rented bikes nearby and were at the parliament buildings in about 10 minutes

Very few parking spaces nearby, so parking at night was a bit inconvenient. It was clean but not EXTREMELY clean.
