Love the location, staff are friendly, the property has pretty much everything I needed. Nothing is fancy, which suits me just fine, and the pricing is appropriate for what you get.

The A/C unit in our cabin was older and struggled to keep up. Would have appreciated a larger or extra dish towel, especially as we are expected to dry and put away our dishes before check-out. And a pair of scissors in the kitchen drawer would have eliminated some risky maneuvers with a knife to open a couple of packages. Otherwise, wonderful!

Very convenient location for visiting downtown Sault Ste Marie or heading further north. Clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Really liked that the sink was outside of the toilet/bath area so that both could be used at the same time i.e., someone could be brushing their teeth while someone was inside having a shower. Check in and check out were easy. Lots of other facilities that we didn't have time to try.

It was odd that when I booked the room, there was a message to call in advance to reserve a parking spot. It was free, but should be reserved. So I called and they said I didn't have to do that since every cottage had a spot for parking. So it was OK.

no breakfast provided as we had a cottage 2 nights & a cabin for an extended 3'rd night. Not a hotel. Cottage had a complete kitchen so we brought our own food. Cabin had electricity and we had brought a small kettle so made coffee and had our own muffins and fruit for breakfast. We extended our stay, but cottage was already booked again and all were full .... however they had a cute cabin vacancy and provided us with bedding ( as we had not needed to bring for the cottage,)....thoroughly enjoyed the cabin as well!

we took a chance on bringing our kettle, as we were not sure if cottage would have one as the pictures had indicated. Thank Goodness as there was not one in the cottage. I don't like heating water through a drip coffee maker.

Considering the price, it’s a great place to stay with your family. The location is approximately 8 km from downtown Sault Ste. Marie, nestled in a forest. There are plenty of great facilities to enjoy, like a swimming pool and a fire pit.

However, be prepared for plenty of mosquitoes during the summer months. Additionally, please note that there is air conditioning only in the living room, so the two bedrooms might get quite warm in the evening.

rustic, perfect, beautiful location

Grounds were not clean..Cigarette butts outside, other garbage..empty water bottles, papers etc. Walls/light switches and doors very dirty We picked up cleaner and wiped them down. This is a gem of a place it would be so easy to give it a 10. More attention to clean up of grounds and high traffic walls/light switches and doors

Off season, it's a quiet location with only a couple seasonal workers staying in other huts. It's not expansive, and it's a bit rustic, but everything I could possibly need was there and it was great value for money.

A few additional pieces of cutlery in the kitchenette would have been useful, but as long as you go in expecting a rustic cabin it'll easily meet expectations.

Great location and great cabin. New linens and sheets were a nice touch. Owners are super nice and helpful. Pretty much had everything we needed inside the cabin.

Property could use a little TLC (ie a full bag of garbage was laying on the park area across from the cottage for 3 days. The staff drove by it at least 6 times and did not pick it up).

Cozy home away from home would be ideal reflection of Glenview Cottages and Campground located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Elements of our recent stay (25 family members, occupied 6 cottages at Glenview) that were really beyond our expectations were the excellence in guest services, humble, friendly and extremely helpful staff and management, excellent location, just 15 minutes away from Agawa train station, shopping outlets were all in proximity, within 2 to 4 km distance from the cottage. All cottages at Glenview are designed to provide perfect family living experience at very economical prices. Any given day, we will pick Glenview cottages over any luxurious hotel. All rooms were elegantly furnished with all basic necessities,keeping comfort of the guests as the top priority. Trails inside the cottage, born fire, pool table, spa and other facilities within the vicinity just added to the lifestyle experience. I have stayed at many cottages and luxury hotels but experience during our stay at Glenview on October 13th and 14th, 2023 exceeded any of our past experiences as a family. Surrounded by green belt all around added the healthy component to the experience. We will strongly recommend stay at Glenview Cottages and it will always be our only preferred place to stay for all of our family future visits to Sault Ste. Marie.

Location was perfect, right on highway. Hiking trailhead was from the property. Trail was not difficult, a little bit of up and down, it took us 45 minutes to complete. Room was clean, with full size fridge. I would stay there again, if occurs.

Sauna was not hot and we could not make it warmer. Also, control panel of hot tub did not work, however, water was hot enough.

Glenview Cottages is a great way to spend a few days or just one night, as my husband and I did on our drive to Calgary. The location is great, the cabins provide all amenities, and the park has a wonderful hiking trail - perfect for stretching your legs after a long drive, especially if you have a dog. While we were there we met people from Florida, Michigan and Southern Ontario. Most staying for a few days to fish, see the Fall colours or just passing through, and all commented positively on Glenview Cottages and the owners. We will certainly be back when we visit the Sault again!

Our only complaint is the lack of three pronged plug receptacles. We managed to find one, but most were for the older two pronged plugs. We managed, but just a heads up for those that require them.
