I arrived late (after the office closed) but they accommodated the late arrival when I phoned ahead. Location is perfect when travelling from western Canada to Ontario - close to gas station, food, restaurant but you can still make an early getaway the next morning as it is on the eastern side of town. Also easy to get to when coming in from the west because you can bypass town all together by using the "Sixth Line East" detour. If you have a uH... truck with trailer, there is parking available that won't leave you boxed in the next day when you need to leave. Overall a nice, very clean, quiet and comfortable room.

Clean but dated. A/C a little under powered for the room and not quiet. Room is lit by only 2 bedside lamps. If of advanced age and your eyesight is declining, that could be a problem. The small bar fridge could not keep my food and drinks cold overnight ( they warmed up in the car during the 14hour trip.)

It is pet friendly and has a small backyard court where you could play fetch safely with your doggy. It has all the amenities a motel needs except a hair dryer (which I didn't need anyways). Very well appointed and decorated and very clean. It looks like recent renovations and they have been well done. This area feels very safe and the man who runs the front is exceptionally friendly. All the food you could desire is within a short drive and available for delivery with food apps. During across Canada solo travel with my dog I picked this motel and it did not disappoint. It was one of the best and first nights I actually slept good because the bed was clean and comfortable and I felt safe. I adore this place now.

Met all basic needs and they are a real pet friendly place, not a dog only friendly place like some other motels. Expedia and Bookings need to be more visually apparent with their pet friendly icon and not spell it out in the fine print of each and every listing. How about dog and cat icons instead of one pet icon.

The weather that day was crappy snow and freezing rain. The motel was a great sage haven!!

Alain who I assume is the owner and a dog lover which is great because I travelled with mine. I have had a few places say my dogs can’t come in the room because I have a few and I made a comment about them sleeping in my truck then and he said if I do that I’ll need to dine elsewhere to stay so I really liked that! I would never do that by the way, but I liked his response. Shows he has true love for animals. The property is so nice, really great if you have dogs- has grass out front. It’s super quiet, definitely attracts older travellers which is so nice because everyone is nice and quiet, early to bed and early to rise. The room itself is spacious and it’s exceptionally clean. I’ve see $400/night hotel rooms not as clean. They clearly take pride in their motel and the staff/owners are super nice and helpful. If you go with pets please be respectful…my dogs are crated in hotel/motel rooms to limit hair being left behind, but I know so many people aren’t considerate and it really hinders those of us who need places to trust us that we won’t let our pets ruin their rooms. Especially here, they really deserve it!

The manager was accommodating when I called about a late check in. Room was very clean and well taken care of.

My spouse ended up sick and had vomited in parking lot. Not intentional at all. Was something that came out of nowhere. Manager texted me saying that we were disgusting like we did it intentionally. I Was not impressed and felt embarrassed by his text. I apologized, but like I said, it's not like my spouse did it purposely.

I stay here every year as it is pet friendly, clean, quiet and located on the way out of town.

I think the extra charge for each pet is a little excessive. Sure the room might be slightly dirtier after a dog but they have to clean the floor etc regardless. It isn’t like a little bit of pet hair ruins your broom.

The room was perfect for me and my dog. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean including the bathroom. Location was great as it only took 10 - 20 minutes to drive to where I wanted to go on that day. I was also given the option of house service on the second/third day, which was nice as I got new set of towels. 10/10, would recommend.

The room was really clean. Bed was comfortable. Lots of great pillows. All in all really pleased.

I often wonder why a room would have only 1 bedside table. Not convenient to have your phone charging across the bed from you. I liked the flavored coffee supplied, but my husband did not.

When we plugged in the water heater to make some coffee the electricity went out on that side of the room. It also affected the wall on the other side of the room, which our son was in. They found out that a fuse had blown. It was fine the second night.

Clean, very quiet, able to open windows for fresh air, fast check-in, everything in good working order, comfy bed. Will definitely stay again if I need a place in SSM.

Not a lot of extra space - not a problem but just something to be aware of. A fan in the bathroom would be nice, especially, e.g., in winter.
