Location is probably the best thing about the hotel. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room service was pretty quick and staff is very friendly.

I specifically made myself clear on the first night I wanted the room bill split into three and the agent said she'd make notes on the reservation and make it happen. Well at the moment of check out it was a total mess. This other agent in the front desk got annoyed because I was giving her more work. It could've been managed in a more organized manner. How interesting sheets were not changed for a day and I realized that since I found out stains still on sheets. They made the beds even though the stains were pretty notorious. Not a good look!

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is close to Union Station. We took VIA to Toronto and used the Subway. It is also close to Ripley’s Aquarium and the CN Tower. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom had lovely amenities. Robes and slippers were provided. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The Classic Double room was quite large with a sofa. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to help, including very early check in. This was a special grandmother/granddaughter trip and we loved staying at this hotel.

My only complaint and it is a small one is that I could hear the trains in the night. The price you pay for being close to Union Station though.

Great location in the middle of Toronto. Friendly helpful staff. We had an amazing view of the CN tower from our room Everything was clean and efficient..

When we checked out we were presented with an additional 25 + tax Canadian dollar "amenity fee" even though we had not used the pool, spa etc. and we were told this is standard and always added, As we had never been informed of this when we checked in, we challenged this and after speaking to the manager it was removed from our bill but as a one time only arrangement, if we stay at the hotel again we will have to pay it. This left a bit of a disappointing end to what had been a great stay. If this is the case why is it not in the quoted initial cost?

Everything from entering the building to leaving the building was absolutely exceptional. Having the option to store our luggage before check-in time was priceless and really made the experience even better. A fantastic service. Even booking the hotel was so easy. We used the restaurant before check-in. The restaurant staff Tuck it upon themselves go above and beyond to check up on our room to see if it was available which was a service. Every single staff member was happy, fast and made genuine kind conversation (which did not take away from them working extremely hard) . The staff went out of their way to compliment my daughter which made her feel special and happy .The friendliness was genuine and I feel like this staff looked happy which coming from working in the industry is rare. The food was delicious. Excellent large portions . It came to our table quickly. The room was exceptionally clean. I called down with a couple questions and they did not make you feel bad. They called you by name which was so personable and I really appreciate that. We called down four more complimentary coffee and the friendliness was so welcoming. The service was quick. Everything from the checking desk to the putting our luggage away to the restaurant to the security guard to the two men, which I assume were maybe head office people. They were friendly and made me feel safe. Going to such a big event that we went to, The hotel was quiet which I did not know what to expect. Everything was spaced out and I understood exactly where to go. It was controlled and clean and friendly and I felt like I was staying with friends, that's how friendly this was. We did miss room service by 8 minutes but the person on the phone was so heartwarming nice. They allowed us to order some food which was very late. I felt so safe waiting outside due to the friendly warm security officer or whomever Job it was to stand outside.

Check-In time was a little late but under the circumstances of the weekend what they offered completely made up for it. Early bag check-in early check in the restaurant. I can't compliment the restaurant enough. It was such a nice place to just sit and have some food with extremely friendly service

Location and comfort.

Online, it says "Queen," but under that, it said "Large Double" for beds. Very confusing. Picked a price, then there's all these additional fees that weren't included on the website, and then we had an additional facility fee as we were leaving. We didn't even use any of the facilities. The pricing should all be included initially, taxes in, and itemized so it is a lot clearer when making a purchase decision.

The staff with InterContinental went above and beyond to correct the egregious charge that booking.com made that was greedy and didn't match the room we booked. For a regular room booking.com gave us was up to six times the price of a regular room. Booking.com took advantage of people like us during the Taylor Swift concert. I would ONLY go through InterContinental directly as they were FABULOUS and book at cost or cheaper with them. Can't say enough good things about InterContinental and their staff. This is not the first time booking.com has done this to us. DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM.

I didn't like that booking.com took advantage of us and charged us up to six times the amount of what the room should have been for a charge. This was absolute greed on booking.com's end and was horrible that they then switched from the picture shown in the ad to a simpler room. I would NEVER use booking.com again. I'm grateful to InterContinental for working with us. It's best to contact them directly to book instead of a third party making all of this money off of regular people. They don't even tell the hotel the egregious charged they placed. Unreal and true.

Ardiz , the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Location is great. They charge extra 25$ plus taxes for amenities ( pool) per night; which we were notified at last minute as we were checking in. This was not mentioned on the app when we booked the room online via booking.com. If we had known we would have chosen another hotel that has no charge for pool. The other unnecessary 10% discounts which were mentioned on the extra-charge-notice paper were really insignificant and irrelevant. Not worth 25$ +taxes Per Night.

Everything went very well. We were greeted friendly and when requested early check in with mini frig.........we arrived and checked in at 11am - very, very happy about that. When we returned to our room Thursday early evening, the mini frig had been delivered to our room as well. Everyone was exceptionally accommodating.

We were a little disappointed that there was no coffee shop/Tim Horton's, or any place to get just a quick snack or breakfast. The location was not near any of this even if not included in the hotel premises itself. The little shop downstairs was a little helpful for snacky things.

Quick check-in, room was ready early, quiet room as requested. PHENOMENAL view through two huge windows - could see the trains and station, airport, CN Tower. Comfortable bed, great shower, clean.

Very minor suggestion: I later realized the facility fee they pointed out to me at check-in was actually included in the Booking.com rate, so it would have been better if they'd seen that and told me that - I was briefly under the unpleasant impression that it was an extra fee above what I'd thought I'd be paying.

Room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Food at restaurant was excellent. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Service at the restaurant for breakfast was lousy. Had to approach the hostess in order to get a server to take our drink order, tea wasn’t brewed and therefore I couldn’t drink it for 5 mins after it arrived, couldn’t get a water refill for over 7 mins after asking and went without water for approx 5 mins before I could even request it.
