Very beautifully decorated. Fresh & modern. The location is amazing, and the price was great too, will definitely be returning.

Staff was a little over zealous lol the lobby felt like there were 10+ people watching us, all trying to be helpful lol. The bed linens could be improved to something less scratchy, but they were still good as is. The fire alarm kept going off at around 9am, and it was very loud. Obviously there was a technical issue, and I’m sure they’re still working out the kinks as they only opened 6 days ago, so all is forgiven lol

Lovely ambiance and decor. Very clean, modern rooms and staff were exceptional.

Rooms is a bit too tight, I think the sofa and tv could be rearranged. Also they could make more breakfast stations during breakfast there was a long line to get food.

The hotel was really lovely! The check in process was super easy and the staff were so friendly! The beds were comfy and the breakfast was really good too. The staff were especially lovely, especially Penina in the restaurant who looked after us so well at breakfast and was so lovely to talk to, Chef Maureen, Henry and Ariel in the lobby. The doormen were also really lovely. Rooms were also very clean. The location is excellent as literally everything is walkable, it took around 8 mins to walk to the CN Tower and there were loads of good food options around too. They also have a baggage storage facility for the day you check out if you have a later flight which was brilliant!! Overall, excellent hotel, would definitely recommend and revisit in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riu Plaza Hotel. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was absolutely perfect — really top-notch. We were lucky to have an amazing view of the CN Tower, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, and the location couldn’t be better. Overall, a great experience!

There were no water bottles in the room, and when I called to ask for some, I was told that it’s not a service they provide. The person mentioned that tap water is drinkable, which is fine, but I would have appreciated having bottled water as an option — it’s something you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Also, the service, while polite, sometimes felt a bit rigid or impersonal. A few small touches, like offering bathrobes or being a bit more flexible, would really elevate the experience.

Breakfast was great. Everything was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.

Being close to the elevator made the room noisy as well as being able to hear the street noise. We did find out on the last morning that apparently our window was not closed properly which may have contributed to being able to hear the street noise. Our coffee station was not refreshed after the first night which was slightly annoying as I get up very early and appreciate a cup of coffee.

It was such an interesting experience staying at a hotel that had just opened. When I stayed there, the hotel had only been open for a week and the room that I stayed in was brand new and it was clear we were the first guests there. Everything was impeccable and I hope the hotel continues to maintain the high standard they set out. The staff were all incredibly attentive and professional. Special thank you to Feona at the front desk, Santiago at breakfast and Miguel who helped with storing our luggage.

The hotel seems stingy about its free water. When I asked for an extra bottle of water, housekeeping told me to go to the front desk, who pointed me to their cafe. There, I was charged almost $6 for a bottle of water. For the amount of money the hotel is charging, they could afford to give their guests an extra bottle of water.

First, the hotel is brand new, opened on the 19th of Sep 25. I liked the room without carpet, the modern bathroom with all the necessary amenities incl. a magnifying mirror. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Seth at entrance and Emine at the breakfast room. Otherwise nothing negative to comment

The management should streamline the check-in procedure. Even though I checked in on-line I had to wait in line for a good 10 minutes at the reception. Maybe dedicate on reception position for those who did on-line check-in.

The hotel is in a great location in the downtown area. It was walkable to most attractions. The staff at the hotel are amazing. They are very approachable and accommodating. The complementary breakfast buffet was very good with a large selection of hot and cold items. Our room was clean and comfortable.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but the check-in process could be improved. It took longer than it needed to be. In this day and age it should be more streamlined and efficient.

Fantastic new hotel in downtown Toronto. Very spacious rooms, fitted with modern appliances and connectivity. Enjoyed the room had plenty of power ports around the room, especially for the modern traveller who has lots of devices! Staff were welcoming and friendly, enjoyed the smiles and greetings everyday. Topped off with a generous buffet breakfast. All in all, it made for a memorable stay.
