Great location, I found it easy to navigate to from Pearson Airport. The street has lots of nice shops and there's a brilliant ice-cream place right downstairs. I did some shopping in a local vintage shop and a few other places and ate in a great local pizza place. The room was very cool and made clever use of the space. Easy to connect to the free WiFi, good TV choices and you could log in to your own Netflix etc. Good AC, good blackout curtains. I loved the design of the bathroom and everything was spotless.

The shower water took 10 minutes to heat up so do factor that in to your morning timings. They explained that it's because it's an old building. The lift (elevator) wasn't accessible at certain times of day which was tricky with luggage.

The best location, all activities on foot or by metro. It’s warm in the modest little room, despite the blizzard and icy wind outside the window, the equipment is new and works if you turn it on correctly. It was quiet at night, clean and there was a window to the fire escape. The TV started working after contacting support and the smell in the room was pleasant.

no special assistance during check-in and check-out; for example, there was no indication of an elevator, which was available, and instead of a storage room, which was only one for a suitcase, they offered to pay for someone else’s services in 20 minutes. Their door code doesn't always work at the time before or after.

Location was superb, and the room was super comfortable. Room was relatively clean. Appreciated the facilities - tea and coffee, television, soap and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, etc. Very easy to get in and out of the building and unit.

A few hairs in the shower which was not super pleasant. It was a bit annoying getting all the reminders about check out time - it felt like I was getting rushed out of there.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the subway. Quick responses when I emailed or messaged. Good facilities with supplies available as needed. Room was small but loads of storage! Also enjoyed having everything on the app! Very easy to navigate!

A bit challenging to complete the preregistration without access to a mobile number and had a few staff ask me to call them to help with the process 🙃 Showers were also a hit and miss, sometimes were warm quickly, though other time I had to run the water for 10+ minutes to have a warm shower

Nice place for a short stay. Luckily our room had a window (which is not the case for other rooms), everything was very clean. There is a mini fridge, a coffee machine, an iron… The location is ideal. The bathroom is equipped well with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. I enjoyed the fact that in the corridor there were essential equipment we could take if needed like clean towels, coffee…

The app: The entire check-in process is through an app - you need data and phone service to set up your check-in so it was very complicated and there is no desk for any issues. When I arrived the first day I still did not receive a mail with the code for my room, so I had to find Wifi somewhere to look for it. The room is very very small, it was good for staying 3 days but not more. It is like a capsule hotel. It is a bit expensive for the size and service.

Excellent location. Close to venues, restaurants, Eaton Center, etc... Small room, automated process with no staff on premise, but they are super responsive on the app. Comfy beds, quiet room.

There is no elevator, and rooms start on the second floor. I was travelling with only one small piece of luggage, so it was okay for me. There is only one window, and it is frosted, so you can't open it or see through it. This is ok for people who are not planning to spend any time in the room.

The room had everything I needed. The AC was easy to work with and the smartTV was a very nice addition to relax in the evening. I had the best experience with luggage storage after my check-out. The location is fantastic, 10mins walk to the CN tower and 25mins walk to the main train station.

Be careful if you forget your phone and don’t remember the code. I locked myself outside of the property. Luckily I managed to get help from a lovely lady who let me log into my sonder account on her phone. Would be great if there was a way to contact the personnel from the entrance, or just don’t do like me and write the code down or don’t forget your phone.

Location was great. Easy access to all main areas of Toronto, plus plenty of places to eat. 15 min walk to the CN tower. 20 mins to the water front. 15 mins walk to the Eaton centre if you like shopping! Cafe downstairs were amazing - not related to the hotel though. Room though compact had everything that we needed. Little note was a nice added touch.

Confusion on how to get into the room. As we had no access to a phone - from the UK, couldn’t contact the number given to ring. Luckily the staff in the cafe were amazing and allowed us to use their mobile phone so we could ring the number. Would have been nice for someone to be there when we arrived.

Location can't be beat for walking access to downtown sites as well as easy Uber/taxi to the island airport. The app and provided check-in code made check-in very easy. I appreciated the comfortable bed, wifi, Nespresso coffee maker and view of the street (soundproof).

Without any hotel amenities or on-site staff, the location is the main draw of the Sonder Beverly. For me it was worth it, but you can get more hotel for your money elsewhere. Although I was able to store luggage for a few hours, it was a bit nerve-wracking (I just left it in the room without a ticket or code, etc and needed to use the app to request someone to bring it out to me).

Excellent downtown location. Easy access. Check-in was easy. The rooftop patio was an awesome bonus - and the staff were amazing!! The room was compact, but was well laid out to fit all of our belongings. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The stairs are a good leg workout - we were aware ahead of time that there wasn’t an elevator.

If you’re on vacation to hang out in your room, then this place may not be for you… it is compact. It was fine for us, as we were out doing our adventures… and it was a nice place to come back to.
