The older style hotel was cool. I felt like I was in a bespoke room (had received an upgrade). Location was decent but I was a 15 minute walk from work. It wasn't ideal but the walk was nice (along the school street especially). Bar has ample options. I only tried the hummous for food, which was ok.

The morning coffee was disgusting. I tried it 2 mornings just to be sure it wasn't me. It was undrinkable. I like strong coffee but this was like tar. I didn't say anything. A nice coffee shop was 1 minute walk away. I suspect a lot of coffee is tossed out every day.

When I called in a panic about my reservation the staff that I spoke to were very helpful and explained everything I needed to know. They upgraded my room, everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and chatty, and they stored our luggage as long as we needed in a secure spot. The patio is a nice little spot to sit and we liked the proximity to a major transit line to get where we needed. The room overall was everything we needed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable.

While the bathroom was beautifully tiled, the shower faucet was very difficult to turn off and on. The floor drain cover in the shower also was not properly attached. The door to the room was nice and heavy which felt secure, but then was difficult to open and close properly. Could not for the life of me figure out how to turn off the captions on the TV but that was really more of a skill issue on my end.

The bedroom which was confortable, as well as the spacious bathroom. Clean and neat. Also there was a minibar! The staff was welcoming, and truly helpful towards their guests in terms of tips, advices, and service. I also had the opportunity to taste their meat, good quality and fresh ingredients. Cocktails: original and delicious (even egg whites cocktails which aren’t that common!) Localization: practical, just nearby Ontario Museum

If I had to pick one suggestion: coffee machine

The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was spacious and included a bathtub. The bed was extremely comfortable and large. The windows were big and clean. The location is ideal if you’re visiting the CN Tower.

The room lacked sufficient lighting. The shower didn’t work, or I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. The bathtub was useful as a result. The hotel is located in Chinatown, so at first, I was confused, feeling like I was in China rather than Canada while searching for a nearby grocery store.

Stayed here during a work trip to the city and felt like it was really great value for money. It has no bells and whistles but it offers the most important things: A comfortable bed, a clean room, great location, friendly staff. The converted warehouse has a very cool vibe to it and the room I was in was a great size. It's also a smaller hotel so I greatly enjoyed the peace and quiet - not thousands of guests rushing between facilities. It's becoming my new regular hotel for my mid-week work visits to Toronto.

The building is an old warehouse conversion, so it's going to be expected to have some unpolished edges compared to a new build hotel, but nothing unexpected or major. As other travellers have mentioned, would love some breakfast options, maybe even a deal with one of the nearby cafes.

Great location! Right in Chinatown, not far from Queen Street and Kensington Market. Love the industrial decor, very simple hotel with limited amenties and reasonable size room.

-The bathroom door is a sliding door, doesn't locked and sometimes it moved back by itself (only 1 time is happened.) -AC is very loud, but i don't mind, At least, it makes the room cooler when it was very hot day. -I don't mind having no coffee maker in the room and no breakfast in the hotel. I prefer going outside to a local cafe shop and restaurant.

I loved the rooms with the soaker tub, big bed and huge windows looking down on Spadina. I got a corner room so the views were panoramic. There was a costume party going on below but I didn’t hear anything. Also amazing location.

I liked everything - except it’s billed as an historic building but the staff I asked didn’t know its history.

I like this hotel, I would stay there again. It is typical of a city location, no on-site parking, but the parking garage is 2 blocks away. The room was clean and comfortable, but somewhat minimal in its amenities, which was fine for me because I didn't spend much time in the room (and you get what you pay for, it was relatively inexpensive). It is adjacent to Toronto's Chinatown, and adjacent to Toronto's wonderful system of streetcars, buses and subways, making getting from here to there incredibly simple, and I left my car in the parking garage. Strong Wifi. Bar in the lobby. This is an old brick building, refurbished to hotel space, the rooms show exposed brick and wood beams (which I find charming), and the bathroom seems brand new and modern.

No refrigerator in the room; only one chair in the room, no couch or sofa in the room.

Location was good. Property and room very modern feel. Bathroom was stunning as long as you’re happy with an open plan arrangement. And no door for the toilet area. We had a maintenance issue with the shower which was resolved super quick . Staff were very friendly

Decor was a bit tired especially the carpets and furniture had seen better days.

Great location in China Town. Loved the huge bathtub, the wood ceilings and the big windows.

The door to the room was flimsy and didn't have a deadbolt, so it didn't feel secure. There was no door separating the toilet from the rest of the room, so not enough privacy. You could even see the toilet from the windows onto the street. There was no electric kettle in the room.
