Loved the extra friendly staff. Was offered a free bottle of water right away upon check in while I waited in line. Staff had great recommendations for dining and things to do tailored to my interests. They had great tips for getting around. Comfy seating areas, location perfect right near the subway. My only meal at the hotel was a dinner, but it was fantastic. The banana fudge ice cream made in house was super delicious.

Beds were a bit hard, the upgrades overall were fantastic, but unfortunately that came with thinner walls. I was beside one of those service doors, so heard it often. Heard outside noise.

The ambiance and decor for the whole hotel was wonderful - as were the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We brought our small puppy and received a lovely welcome package for her. Staff were very accommodating. We had a room with outdoor access which was really lovely - even in the early spring weather. Must be so nice in the summer. The food and drinks were one of the best parts of the hotel. We had been to the bar previously and that made us decide to stay here. We will definitely visit the bars and restaurants again and have recommended to others.

The lack of a separate bathroom was a bit of a shock - needs to be more transparently shown in the marketing, in my view. The images on the website seem to hide this - which makes me think the hotel knows this is a negative feature. Might be a cool thing if you are staying in a room solo, but is awkward and strange for two people sharing. The poor guests next to us - four guys traveling together - you could hear them laughing awkwardly about it when they arrived. Like who wants to step out of a shower directly into the room?

Excellent location. Right above underground mall that accesses subways and high-end shopping and good restaurants

The rooms have an open concept bathroom… so I asked for a room with a private bathroom. We were given the handicapped friendly room. The bathroom had a plastic shower curtain and looked like school gym facilities.

Beautiful as always. I try to book The W whenever I stay in Toronto.

Hotel front desk machines can not take credit card 'swipe' payments nor can they manually enter in a credit card- not an issue for most travellers but my credit card chip was demagnetized when traveling and left me scrambling to sort out a deposit. It was a bit of a nightmare actually.

I loved how fast customer service was , I also really enjoyed how spacious the room was that I had stayed in. Very nice and cosy

The heat barely worked , it was hard to operate. Sometimes the room was freezing cold even when we turned it on.

The aesthetics were nice, as well as the resultants/bars on the property. One particular staff member went above and beyond (I wish I remembered her name).

Not sure if the staff is trustworthy, because I left a pair of sunglasses on the bar counter and in less than an hour it was missing and I was told “no camera is facing that direction” when I inquired.

- room was a bit small for 4 people, didn't feel like there was any bathroom privacy - hallway carpet was a little too thick (lol) – made it hard to push the luggage carts

Love the room and the bar and coffee shop

The first night was uncomfortable, because the air conditioner would not go low enough. Then they switched rooms and it was much better, though they still have some type of Governor that does not allowed to stay cold all night. It was so much better.

The location was amazing few blocks away from everything! Beautiful hotel the staff was Perfection ( I forgot the names 🤦🏾‍♀️)from operation manager, Jocinta the house keeping, and the front desk Associate who provided us with some must see locations. The bar on the 6th floor is amazing!!!!

Nothing Perfect, but the roof top Bar was closed on Sundays

It was our anniversary and we unexpectedly had a bottle of wine delivered. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The elevators were fast. Not a huge deal to some but to those who don't like them it was great!

Price was a bit more then we wanted to spend but many things made it worth paying so much!
