Location was excellent, within walking distance to several restaurants. Pool was excellent, nice and warm and clean. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

Parking was an extra charge and bizarre. Lack of communication from staff on how to enter/exit the gated parking area. Once you park, you cannot go back to the lobby. You must enter through side doors using your key card because you are locked inside the gated parking area. You need your key to enter AND exit, so make sure to check out AFTER you leave the parking lot. Don't check out/give back your keys first or you will be stuck in the parking lot.

Everything was great except for people who idle their cars in the middle of the night and if you are on the first floor, the fumes fill up the room and that's not pleasant to say the least.

I was woken up by the smell of a car exhaust fumes in the middle of the night. Opened the door outside, and saw the black pick up truck idling at the parking spot next to our room. I went to the main desk to report the problem. It was around 2:30 in the morning. I was told that they can't get to this issue right away. I had 2 kids in the room and not much french to deal with the situation. The night sleep was interrupted.

Travelling back from the east coast it is a perfect one night stop before the last leg of our travels. Easy to get to. Close to restaurants and shopping. Parking lot is good. Very clean. Great tv and wifi. The breakfast is very good and is a nice feature. The room was very quiet. We stopped here on our trip east and enjoyed it so it was our first choice on our return trip. Would recommend.

Check in could have been better. Only one attendant on the desk and she was talking on the phone. Conversation proved to be quite long. Meanwhile I stood and waited. No acknowledgment other than eye contact. It would have been more professional to ask her party to hold for a second and at least say “welcome and I will be with you in a minute.” Once she was off the call there really was no welcome to Best Western, sorry for the wait …just hello and I checked in. I realize situations like that happen when alone on a desk…it’s how you handle it that leaves an impression.

The place it’s very organized and the front desk staff it’s very attentive, not to mention the area it’s very well located around many places from dining to grocery shopping and fast food. Very good location

The cleaning staff kept knocking in the doors even thought we had the privacy sign up and the sound proof of the building it’s not the best. Every time my neighbour left or enter their apartment, it felt like someone was invading ours and it was quite uncomfortable

Good hotel. Breakfast was good. The pool is good. The gym is a little bit tiny. Since the new gates were installed, it felt safer to your vehicles. But paying 10bucks for parking was not expected.

The pool was full of teenagers But no people told them to stop screaming and doing dangerous acts. Not good to young kids to swim there. If someone from hotel could tell these teenagers behave beyter, that would be great. And paying 10bucks for parking was not expected.

Breakfast was good! The AC worked well and adjusted quickly. We were happy to have a ground floor room with direct access to our car as my dad has a very hard time waking. The employees were wonderful, always helping, when I needed something (and with 2 adding parents, there were a few requests) --and always with a smile. They also spoke English without hesitation, which we appreciated. I would definitely stay there again.

Not a deal breaker, but I felt the sheets were a bit...crunchy. They were clean, and lots of pillows, but the sheets and pillow cases were, too me, "crunchy".

The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, if a typical American hotel breakfast. What made it such a great experience was the staff persons. Line and Michele were hard-working, extremely friendly and very solicitous of the needs and wants of myself and my husband. They kept the food bins full, were ever vigilant in wiping down counters, tables and equipment after spills and crumbs, etc. When they had time, they chatted with us and helped us practice our French speaking! We looked forward to breakfast every morning of our four night stay because of them. The rooms were spacious, very clean, as was the entire hotel. From the hotel location, it was a breeze to access Old Town and downtown Montreal in our car.

One night, arriving back late from touring in Montreal, we tried to enter the hotel through the door nearest to our room. It was not accessible (yellow light flashing instead of green) undoubtedly due to security and the late hour. We entered through another door okay with our key cards, but when we got to our room our key cards did not work. The hotel is large and we had the very farthest room from the lobby. After a long day, the walk back and forth seemed like miles. So more information about what doors not to use up front would have been helpful and saved us quite a trek.

The room was clean and of reasonable size. The whole hotel is well kept. Great free parking facilities. Breakfast is quite complete and well staffed. Even with some hockey teams filling the hotel, the staff was able to keep the hotel clean and functional. Nice pool and exercise room. Really easy to get to Montreal and back with easy access to Champlain bridge. Great location to visit Montreal.

There is really nothing that we could have been complaining about.

Friendly & helpful staff Room was clean Bed was comfortable

The ELEVATOR terrified me. I had never been in an elevator where you have to keep holding the button. I released the button after I first pressed it and it got stuck between floors. This scared me to death. This hotel as to work on getting a more modernized elevator. Coming from Toronto I was not used to this type of elevator. With mobility issues I couldn't take the stairs.

I stay at this facility on and off when passing through Montreal, and I'm running out of positive adjectives on these regular Booking.com "Rating Requests". So, whoever reads this, just take my word for it.

The Property Management chose to have all the stairway hand-rails painted at the same time.....meaning that all of them had "caution - wet paint" labels, with the corresponding sticky rails. (They should have planned to paint them in stages, i.e. a few days apart, to allow the proper drying of the paint-job, before "attacking" the next stairway). It might have cost a bit more in labour, but wouldn't have annoyed as many customers! The Elevator is far too slow. (...or, as one ages, one has less patience....lol).
