I've been to montreal a few times and have tried a number of hotels/motels to stay at. This one is by far my favourite. It's a little far from the island but it's well worth it. The price to stay here is very reasonable and an extra $12 to keep the car in a downtown parking garage during the day is totally fine compared to staying somewhere downtown. The room was exactly as the pictures suggested; I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfy it was. In all honesty this place is perfect for someone who's chill, not picky, and doesn't have unreasonable expectations for the price paid. I came expecting a clean bed and shower and that's exactly what i got. Staff was friendly here too.

One person staying here was quite loud one of the nights, but it happens sometimes; I don't blame the location for it.

Clean, recently renovated, and well-located, as we were there for a festival at Parq Jean-Drapeau. It was only a 10 min drive to the nearest subway station, one stops away. We were also on the outskirts of downtown and didn't have to deal with the crowd. The price was also very reasonable for what we paid for. They also left 2 bottles of water in our rooms included - that was a nice gesture!

Finnicky lock and door knob - it's probably an old lock; we had an issue where they had to change the key because the first key they gave us did not unlock the door. We always had to slam the door to ensure it was locked. Bugs - that area is bug central, and we had to sneak into the hotel room in darkness every time to avoid insects from following us. We also didn't realize until the last day that our window bug protector had a hole in it.

My room was so clean, and had a nice bathroom. The motel is located near Pont Champlain; nevertheless it was quiet inside my room, and I slept really well. The motel is pet friendly. You can walk to a nice park along the riverfront. You can also walk or drive over to Boulevard Rome, where there is a nice selection of Asian restaurants, as well as a Tim Hortons.

The motel is a little bit challenging to drive to the first time, as it is on a one-way street alongside the autoroute entry to Pont Champlain. If you are driving alone, it helps to use Google Maps or Waze audio instructions.

Service, convenience and cost. The three pillars to the hospitality industry. The new owners have completely renovated the rooms and the location is excellent. Just at the foot of the beautiful Samuel de Champlain bridge. The reception was courteous and when I forgot something in the room when checking out, I caleed and their staff got right on it. They even offered me a coffee as I waited to retrieve it. XXX

Updated rooms, very clean, fridge and microwave were handy to have. The location was perfect for access to Parc Jean Drapeau, the Olympic Basin and La Ronde. It was quiet despite being on a busy road. A great place to stay for a night or two.

The outside appearance is tired and needs a refresh, to make the first impression match with the nicely update and renovated rooms

The property was tastefully decorated and appeared to have a complete reno! Everything was new. I loved the modern design. The bed was very comfy and the room had beautiful shower! Loved that the room also had a bigger mini fridge and a microwave! Perfect for travellers. The location was in a great area as well. Right off the highway! There was a park right down the street for walking and admiring the beautiful Montreal Skyline and bridge!

if you could make the heater in the room up to 28 degrees instead of 24 and the customer will change it as he wants it is better than forcing them to accept the 24 degrees as top, we felt little bit cold.

during my stay at the motel Champlain, the room was great and the customer service was wonderful.

A few negatives that I had about Motel Champlain was the poor Wi-Fi services provided. Another inconvenience was the location due to the motel being located on a one-way street.

Everything was great once I got into my room. When I asked where I could get a coffee I was given one free. Unfortunately I was unable to get a key to work to get into the first room, the manager couldn’t get a key to work in the second room. I am sure they will be replacing the locks right away.

I would have liked a kettle to make a tea or coffee but there was a Tim Horton’s a 10 minute walk away.

Clean and all modern, comfy bed, very pleasant rooms better than some hotels I’ve been at. Check in was super easy especially as we arrived at nearly midnight. They allow late check out for a small fee per hour. Only thing that would make it better is breakfast!
