lovely clean room, generous clean towels for two, spacious washroom, plentiful hot water for shower, pool and hot tub warm and well-maintained, nice polite and friendly staff at the concierge desk.

The elevator to the underground parking lot was out of order which caused stress for hotel guests. There was no signage for clarification downstairs or phone numbers for people with heavy bags down there with no staff support. We had to walk up the ramp with all our luggage (no carts down there) and out the vehicles only door which was a safety risk. Guests should have been offered more support around this safety issue. The cost per night is high in that area of Montreal so safety measures need to be at a high standard,

Staff very helpful at check-in, good breakfast, room small but confortable for family with 2 adults and 2 kids. Location ideal for visiting Montreal, close to the old city and habour and next to a metro station

Surrounding of the hotel (street, metro station) very dirty and unsafe at night, swimming pool and spa facility just average

Location was very central and easy to get around. Rooms were big with comfortable beds, and staff were very nice. We used the pool/hot tub a lot in the afternoons and it was rarely used by other guests, but clean and organized.

Elevators are a bit of an issue. Only 2 of the 4 work, and the always stop at the 2nd floor reception even if you didn’t choose it. Not a huge issue, but from 9-11am they were busier with people checking out.

Room was comfortable, hotel located across the street from the Metro, Ste Catherine’s street and the Old Port are a 5+ minute walk from the hotel.

Shower curtain is a buttoned type on the inside and will leak if the outside part of the curtain is external to the bath. This creates a severe slipping hazard even with a bath towel on the floor. The shower curtain need to be replaced as it is a ‘health and safety’ issue. See the attached photos. Forgot to take a picture of the inside buttoned up side of the shower curtain.

Did not participate in breakfast, but the location was great. Walking distance from Old Montreal, as well as the Place Des Arts strip on Rue St Catherine. Also lots of fantastic Asian cuisine less than a block from the hotel. The room was clean and a good size. The view was not the best. But it is what it is. Hotel had a pool, gym, sauna, and hot tub.

AC was a bit loud. But it had to be on due to the humidity. As I said the view was not the best. Was overlooking rooftops of other buildings. But was really only in the room to sleep. Was out exploring the town, or using the pool, sauna and gym.

Generally the hotel was great, it was so nice to be so close to metros and the Chinatown shops and restaurants. The pagoda and cultural art and Koi fish in the lobby next to the restaurant were a big hit with our little one and our family especially during lunar new year. The room was as expected and comfortable, nice to have a pool/hot tub/sauna/gym on site.

Only thing that I would improve is the staff didn't really explain the parking or to use a printed card given to us in our key enveloppe (perhaps more to do with distractions at the moment in lobby) and so as one of us left expecting in and out privileges we had to pay the daily parking rate upon our exit but we did pay that at the lobby so paid double for a day. Not a huge deal as it was a miscommunication but to note if you are paying for parking to make sure you understand the process.

Was able to check into the room early, which was very nice. The location is good in some ways. Close to conference center and Chinatown. A relatively short walk to old town. The room had been redone and was contemporary and nice.

The overall hotel, particularly on the outside, doesn't look like it's in very good shape. Although the hotel is convenient to a lot of things the neighborhood seems a little shabby. We were there for one night, and not at the hotel much except to sleep and we saw 3 interactions with multiple police cars across the street or at the metro station about a block away.

Location is perfect. Near a subway station and Old Montreal area

Parking lot has confusing rules — it charges for a full 24 hours after just 4 hours of use, making it much more expensive than nearby options. Also, the elevator to the underground parking was out of order during our entire 4-day stay.

For staff, we were exceptionally served by Greg when we checked in on March 13 as he made sure that our two rooms were right across each other. This was very convenient for our two families. Greg also was very helpful to guide us on getting our parking in the hotel for our van. He was very patient and clear in answering our questions. We will surely comeback to this hotel because of staff like Greg!

My teenagers said that the choice of tv shows / movies available could have been better.

It was very centrally located near the convention center, Chinatown, Downtown, and what I guess is called Old Montreal. Front desk staff was professional, very polite in an expected Canadian sense and spoke English perfectly I mention the English part as I’m an American it was my first time in Montreal, I’d never stayed in a city where French was the official language. In Montreal, I learned while French is the official language, every business and most residents I’m assuming were Bilingual in French and English. I cannot speak for the rest of Quebec but the language barrier for English speakers does not really exist in Montreal.

Didn’t really dislike anything price was a little higher than other similar holiday inns I’ve stayed at but given its central location in major cities, I guess this was to be expected.
