Generally the hotel was great, it was so nice to be so close to metros and the Chinatown shops and restaurants. The pagoda and cultural art and Koi fish in the lobby next to the restaurant were a big hit with our little one and our family especially during lunar new year. The room was as expected and comfortable, nice to have a pool/hot tub/sauna/gym on site.
Only thing that I would improve is the staff didn't really explain the parking or to use a printed card given to us in our key enveloppe (perhaps more to do with distractions at the moment in lobby) and so as one of us left expecting in and out privileges we had to pay the daily parking rate upon our exit but we did pay that at the lobby so paid double for a day. Not a huge deal as it was a miscommunication but to note if you are paying for parking to make sure you understand the process.

Room was comfortable, hotel located across the street from the Metro, Ste Catherine’s street and the Old Port are a 5+ minute walk from the hotel.
Shower curtain is a buttoned type on the inside and will leak if the outside part of the curtain is external to the bath. This creates a severe slipping hazard even with a bath towel on the floor. The shower curtain need to be replaced as it is a ‘health and safety’ issue. See the attached photos. Forgot to take a picture of the inside buttoned up side of the shower curtain.

Did not participate in breakfast, but the location was great. Walking distance from Old Montreal, as well as the Place Des Arts strip on Rue St Catherine. Also lots of fantastic Asian cuisine less than a block from the hotel. The room was clean and a good size. The view was not the best. But it is what it is. Hotel had a pool, gym, sauna, and hot tub.
AC was a bit loud. But it had to be on due to the humidity. As I said the view was not the best. Was overlooking rooftops of other buildings. But was really only in the room to sleep. Was out exploring the town, or using the pool, sauna and gym.

Was able to check into the room early, which was very nice. The location is good in some ways. Close to conference center and Chinatown. A relatively short walk to old town. The room had been redone and was contemporary and nice.
The overall hotel, particularly on the outside, doesn't look like it's in very good shape. Although the hotel is convenient to a lot of things the neighborhood seems a little shabby. We were there for one night, and not at the hotel much except to sleep and we saw 3 interactions with multiple police cars across the street or at the metro station about a block away.

It was very centrally located near the convention center, Chinatown, Downtown, and what I guess is called Old Montreal. Front desk staff was professional, very polite in an expected Canadian sense and spoke English perfectly I mention the English part as I’m an American it was my first time in Montreal, I’d never stayed in a city where French was the official language. In Montreal, I learned while French is the official language, every business and most residents I’m assuming were Bilingual in French and English. I cannot speak for the rest of Quebec but the language barrier for English speakers does not really exist in Montreal.
Didn’t really dislike anything price was a little higher than other similar holiday inns I’ve stayed at but given its central location in major cities, I guess this was to be expected.

For staff, we were exceptionally served by Greg when we checked in on March 13 as he made sure that our two rooms were right across each other. This was very convenient for our two families. Greg also was very helpful to guide us on getting our parking in the hotel for our van. He was very patient and clear in answering our questions. We will surely comeback to this hotel because of staff like Greg!
My teenagers said that the choice of tv shows / movies available could have been better.

The size of the rooms. The pool. The staff - Darrin was really lovely on arrival, he offered for me to check in early which was incredibly helpful as I was attending a conference nearby. All staff were attentive and helpful. I’m vegetarian and found there was a good offer for breakfast.
I couldn’t see anything but Chinese food on the menu for dinner so I did not end up eating there, I appreciate that it is based in China town but it would have been helpful to see if they did fries or something else too.

Location was fantastic both to Chinatown, Downtown and the Old Port. The gym and pool were good, reception area was spacious and relaxing to wait in. The koi pond adds a lovely ambience. The staff were all very helpful and friendly especially Pierre Kay who checked us in early and gave good recommendations for food.
The room was clean, adequate and comfortable enough but could do with a refurbishment. The carpet looked old and dated. The instructions for the coffee machine was easy to follow but it would have been good to have had more coffee pods instead of just one regular and one decaf. Also some milk or cream rather than dry creamer would have made the coffee drinkable. A small kettle for hot water for tea would be preferable as water from the coffee machine tastes like coffee!

Love the interior decor and the calmness of the lobby. Very clean and nicely light. Fish look decent and healthy. A staff member was very kind to a baby running around and played with her a bit because the exhausted mother could not, I love that! I had accidentally booked a November stay for February and the staff at the reception were able to help me sort out my situation and get a hotel room in the end so that I didn’t end up roofless for a night in Montreal (I’m from Ottawa, it would be a long drive back home if I were tired with no other place to go)!
The entrance to the parking garage coming from the street is not very evident and I ended having to miss it three times when trying to arrive on time for my check-in. The sign for the garage and the exterior decor of the hotel scream “random business building” instead of “hotel” because of the lack of signage and colour so it took my 15 minutes of constant detours and redirecting because I missed my left turns into parking garage on a narrow one way street in a busy area!

I enjoyed the breakfast bar, the pool and gym. I really enjoyed the main lobby and how beautiful the scenery is. The cleaning staff did an exceptional job cleaning our rooms. And I liked the fact that the location was close to restaurants and other necessities.
What I didn't like was the size of the pool and gym, since it doesn't allow for much space to work out in. I didn't like the parking garage. It was too small for large vehicles and you'd have to be careful not to run into poles or other cars while down there. Although the breakfast was good, I feel personally it could've been a bit cheaper for multiple people living in one room.
