The room was very spacious and clean, the bed and bathroom were very comfortable and the location was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had drinks on the roof top terrace bar which is a lovely location and the drinks were great. The hotel gym was also fairly well-stocked for a hotel gym and reasonably well-maintained.

It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in our room and the coffee machine was quite fiddly to use. There also appeared to be no facility to plug in our electric toothbrushes - although it could be that we are just not familiar with the North American system.

The bed was amazing! Everything from the pillow to the mattress and sheets, robes and towels were lovely and very comfortable. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite hotel experiences in Montreal after more than 30 years of travel to the city.

The brasserie had pretty limited options for breakfast but was lovely for dinner. Would have loved a la carte croissants, fruit, etc. Room service took a long time to arrive and didn't get order correctly (50 minutes for tea, cheese plate and cake slice) and accidentally only sent tea for one instead of two)

The hotel is lovely. The room was spacious and stylish with an extremely comfortable bed. Lab products smell delicious. Agree with a previous comment that the make up mirror light is very dim and there is nowhere to hang towels! Especially with four of us in the room (no hooks on doors, only one towel rail, door too high to use!). Based on previous reviews we asked for a room round the side and it was extremely quiet and we weren’t bothered by noise at all. All in all a great stay in a fantastic location.

The reception is a bit dark and the layout of the lobby is strange being split left and right.

They need an ice machine for guests to access . I ordered ice every day and some days I had to wait almost 30 min . the valet said he gets a lot of ice requests. More reason for an accessible ice maker. Elevators very slow and you share them with the cleaning staff and their big carts. No dedicated service elevator I guess which I get because it’s an older building but the wait some days was long Other than those two items I had a wonderful time staying there

Great location with valet parking. Walking distance to many sites in Old Montreal and nearby shopping districts. Friendly and professional staff. The concierge staff did a great job helping make our visit special. Huge room. Cool architecture. Very comfortable bed. Kyo Bar was an amazing dinner and great brunch at Brasserie 701 (nice being able to stay inside with -25 deg C weather!)

Our room faced rue Saint-Jacques. A night club across the street was a bit noisy but not overly disruptive. Our room was a bit chilly when we checked in but the electric fireplace quickly warmed the room.

staff were amazingly helpful! Concierge experts Jonathon and Ricardo were knowledgeable of region, food opportunities, local events and shops. Room was clean, and spacious with thoughtful touches , fresh water daily, chocolates. fabulous toiletries that smelled amazing. There were great onsite restaurants and waitstaff were terrific!, and the spa!!! shout out to my massage therapist Lucie!!!!FABULOUS!

nothing really, if I had to say anything that may be constructive, I would say the gym could be bigger, if possible. Any more than 3 people and it felt a bit cramped. but well equipped! phone in room did not work, may not have been sitting on charger solidly.

The location near the old Town but not right in the midst of the crowds and construction,. was ideal. They provided a quiet room upon request.Concierge ( Ricardo)was outstanding in his recommendations and took time with us to answer all of our questions. The entire staff was fantastic in assisting us. Amanda, Irene, Kelsey at the main desk were always available and helpful. Bastian and the crew at the door were faultless in their handling of the baggage and our vehicle. Would stay here again, no question!

Parking was expensive but convenient. Was surprised the hotel coffee was not too good. Don’t care for those Nespresso machines that give you an Expresso equivalent. However there are outstanding coffee cafes all around the area.

I was in the oldest part of the building, and I loved the old world charm with exposed brick wall and arched window in my small Queen room. After long days of touring, the bed was like a cloud. The rooms were elegant, clean, and well kept. Towels were plush and plentiful. The wooden floors squeaked a bit and there was a little dark mould in the corner of the shower. Water pressure was good and hot. The wifi was also good. The room included a stocked mini bar and good coffee selection, and there was also coffee and fruit-infused water in the lobby. The location was stellar, right off the square, and close to metro and bus stops. The Spa was excellent; I enjoyed the steam room and massage. Roof top bar and breakfast in La Brasserie were fine. Didn’t try the sushi restaurant as I ran out of time. The hotel definitely lent luxury and European elegance to my Montreal experience. It is in a safe, central location with friendly staff, and fine finishes.

The location was excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful, when we needed to change rooms and when there was a problem with the safe and the air-conditioning. The room we moved to was an upgrade from our original room.

The room we were originally given was directly opposite a building site, which was very noisy from early morning onwards. The bedroom floors were not carpeted, which gives the rooms a rather utilitarian feel. The wash basins did not have plugs, so it is not possible to fill the basin with water. Water just disappears straight down the drain. Tea and coffee making facilities were inadequate for our requirements - just a Nespresso machine with 4 pods of decaf and Turkish coffee, no tea and no milk.

Hotel is gorgeous. All staff from front desk, concierge, valets were welcoming and helpful. Our two queen room was enormous, with comfy beds and pillows, and a large rain shower. Two onsite restaurants were top notch. Location is in old Montreal close to Notre Dame cathedral, cafes, shops, restaurants, etc.

We loved everything about this hotel, though the Latin Club outside our windows got very noisy outside near closing. Ear plugs solved the problem or a noise machine would have helped.
