Modern feeling of the hotel. Travelodge are pretty much standard... old... ish feeling. This location has a more modern feel overall. Location is good, around 700 meters away from Place D' Arms. Breakfast room is really good. You are steps away from Desjardins Complex - that has a grocery store, Dollarama, Winners, Pharmacy and a Food Court.

Our check-in time was not observed. We had to wait past the check-in time. Staff was very friendly and apologetic though. I wish the location had scrambled eggs or sausage as I have seen in other Travelodge in ON. The options for breakfast were very good, but for a celiac you are stuck with hardboiled egg and a fruit.

Very central, most attractions and sights in walking distance. Room very clean, spacious, comfy bed. Room service came every day. Hotel was quiet during the night. Very pleasant stay and worth the stay. Friendly staff, check-in and check-out within minutes.

Breakfast I found below average and was disappointed. Plastics knives and forks and too much plastic used. Not much variety. Melon and pineapple slices were the only fresh fruit. No cheese or cold meat offered as I would expect for a continental breakfast. No warm food offered or hot milk for coffee. Only filter coffee and hot water was offered in big canisters. Eggs were very hard boiled. Croissants were tasty. Rubbish bins too close to where the food was placed.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was very good, especially the croissants.

There is no hanging space for dresses or longer clothes. We were unaware that if you didn't hang a "do not disturb" sign on your door, the staff would knock on it at 8am, and if you don't answer straight away, they will enter your room. Quite alarming.

The property was fine, decent location.

No parking. Had to park a couple Blocks away. Not a huge deal but a bit of an inconvenience as it was pouring rain the day we left and the area we parked at was a little sketchy at night. Also the pricing was different from what I booked online vs what i paid at the hotel by about $50.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was amazing!! 10 minute walk to the Basilique and old Montreal. One block away from Sainte Catherine St and the underground mall including an IGA grocery store. Tim Hortons is around the corner on Sainte Catherine st. The free breakfast was a bonus (delicious fresh croissants, chocolate croissants, fresh fruit (watermelon, pineapple, cantelope), yogurts, boiled eggs, fruit cups, bread to toast, variety of cereals, orange juice, apple juice, juice boxes, tea, coffee, milk, jam and peanut butter.)

The rooms are REALLY small (Barely room to walk), but if you just need a place to lay your head at night, they are fine. I wish the breakfast had cream cheese or cheese and a protein (sausages or something).

The breakfast was not continental, which I actually prefer — it shouldn’t feel like a barbecue with pork and beans :) the room was next to the boulevard and it was very pleasant having the meal in the morning there by the big window Position was perfectly located within walking distance from all the key spots downtown

The hotel need some renovation The room for a single person was perfect (I wouldn't say the same for a couple) the lobby could be definitely more cozy

The location is unbeatable, close to everything and just one block from Place des Arts, where the Jazz Festival is held. Breakfast was good I appreciated that, although it was continental, the food wasn’t served cold, there were freshly boiled eggs and warm pastries.

I didn’t really like the breakfast setup. The buffet table is in the center, but everyone always ends up on the same side, which makes the area feel cramped. People crowd around the toasters and plates while others are trying to serve themselves food. For some reason, the other side of the table isn’t used at all. Maybe adding another pair of tongs and encouraging guests to use both sides would make things flow more smoothly.

Very good location, for our group interest about Old Montreal. There was a misunderstanding about the parking. The web site listed the Continental breakfast as included, which was good. The staff at the restaurant were very professional and friendly. Meilleurs vœux. Montréal, on t'aime Regards

But the parking service shows available, but we only could get one spot (we have 2/two) cars. We were Ok, with paying for the parking, but why this particular charge was not listed, on the web site info. The same situation with the safety/ insurance deposit source of payment if it's from credit card 50, if debit card 100. I understand that there is a reason for this decision, but please, be transparent with the customer from the beginning, about the policy. No charge , should come as a surprise at the Registration Desk. Hope your team will review these observations and take action upon them.

The hotel was very clean, great room service. I had a double room with one large bed. So for one person there was definitely enough space. Friendly personnel. I felt that everything I expect from a hotel was there (Just the food options at breakfast were a bit limited).

Breakfast options were limited. There are some fruits, but I would have liked more fresh fruit options. The hotel signs at the exterior and the floor at the main hotel entrance door are broken. That didn't bother me, but I think that should get fixed because it makes for a bad first impression.

The location is great if you want to be close to everything. Around the corner you're in the heart of Chinatown. Rue St Catharine is parallel to Rene Levesque Blvd so you walk up a couple blocks north on St Laurent and you're right there or head south on St Laurent to get to old Port. The shopping complex is within walking distance (3min walk). The room was small but the bed was comfortable at least.

Parking is limited on site. First come first serve. It costs 35/day but we were told to park at complex Desjardins 24/day. Short walk to the hotel. Recommend dropping off your luggage and check in to your room, park and come back so you're not lugging your stuff back on the walk and you can choose to explore the area. A little inconvenient but in the end, it worked out.
