Breakfast was ok and decent. Location is very convenient and nearby to most POI. Room was very clean and well-kept.
Check-in time was 4pm. The staff unable to check us in not even a minute earlier. They said the computer system wasn't ready to check-in even when the rooms are already ready. Hotel should be more flexible. 4pm is already very late compare to other hotels.

The breakfast was good; there was more variety of food than I expected. The room was exactly as it appeared in the photo online. The room was quiet in terms of not being able to hear other people but the street is quite noisy, that is maybe just the neighborhood. Quite a spacious room (Queen). Quite a good value for the money. A very decent 3-star hotel. I would definitely come back.
The hallway leading to the rooms was a bit run down and had me worried but the room was fine. The room did smell a bit of cooked food but I guess that might be expected with a kitchenette. The breakfast room is also quite run down but the breakfast was very decent and even exceeded expectations (nice touch to have Montreal bagels).

I’d definitely recommend the Roberval. However, there are two different experiences depending on whether you’re in the old (4 storey) or newer building (6 storey). First Queen Studio in the newer building. Facilities and furnishings were good quality and modern. Room was very clean. Shower head wasn’t great, but water was always hot. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi strong and reliable. Short carpeted hallways meant a quiet room. Breakfast had a reasonable choice, but no cooked/hot breakfast. A very reasonably priced guest laundry hidden away in the bottom level of the old building. Location is ideal for city walking, and only approx 300m to a main metro station.
Next Queen Studio booking was in the old building. Long tiled corridor was an echo chamber. Guest noise happened at all hours. Even housekeeping sounds were amplified. Rooms are nicely renovated and have the same quality furnishings and facilities. Finding the elevator in the old hotel is a bit maze-like from the reception area and it’s not signed. People with mobility issues might want to check room location - rooms in the newer building are easier to access. Stairs to access reception from the street, but there is a ramp and luggage trolley at a side entrance.

great location, comfy room, good wifi, strong & fast-acting air conditioning. Breakfast is a little early (7-10), but there's a great spread, and the food is awesome. It's a cozy and comfortable hotel in a very central location.
It's in a very central location, so there's some noise from the street most of the time. My only real complaint is about parking: the hotel garage is very deep and extremely narrow: I scraped my bumper pretty badly, and it looked like there was a lot of paint on the walls from other cars that also missed the curb. If you're arriving by car, be *very* careful when you go to park in the garage.

We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was the perfect amount of space for myself, 3 other adults and a 4 year old. Beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Loved the Montreal bagels and chocolatines yum. The hotel was right downtown Montreal and while it's a bit noisy in the city we didn't seem to have any trouble sleeping. We also had a small balcony outside the living area of our room that had a nice view of the city. If you're traveling with people who have mobility issues the hotel has a ramp for wheelchairs or motorized scooters on their Rue Berri side of the hotel with an elevator up to the other levels. Not sure if they have accessible rooms but the bathroom in our suite was super tiny and toilet was really low but it was something we could overlook as we didn't mind it and served it's purpose. The staff were very accommodating and assisted us with our every need. They even had recommendations on places to eat in the area and we're great. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again in the future
We didn't have a parking space at the hotel do to my truck being too long so had to park at the hospital parking lot. It was a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Not something I can say against the hotel though as this is a big city and parking a Ford F150 is hard in any city 🙈

The entire premises (our suite included) were very clean. While in an older building, extensive renovations appear to have been made … bathroom and kitchen, windows, new floors and paint job. Yet there is a nostalgic feeling to the whole, like going back in time. The kitchen is a real full one, reflecting perhaps the history of the building (which seems to have been apartments at one point). The personal are at the front desk 24/24 and 7/7 so any problems can be dealt with immediately. A metro station and the airport bus stop are within a block or two so very convenient.
In contrast to the rest, the A/C units are old wall mounted ones that are quite noisy. Even worse, the one in the bedroom on Labelle Street are mounted in a shaft that acted as an amplifier of the music festival taking place one block down that street. Free concert every evening LOL! (Not the fault of the hotel perhaps but a strange building design fault.)

Comfortable room, well furnished with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, sink, silverware, glasses, and plates. His and her separate closets, desk and chair, and armchair. Excellent lighting and easily accessible multiple sockets for changing devices. If you drive, a system for dropping off luggage at door with ramp and luggage rollers so you can park next door and not lug your baggage from the parking garage. Breakfast is fine enough with hot and cold cereals, breads, bagels, croissants, yoghurt, hardboiled eggs, sliced cheese and ham, oranges, apples, and peaches, coffee, tea, juices. Central location, walkable to old city, entertainment area, and Mont Real. Proved better than expected.

Location was perfect for me, only 2 min walk from bus to airport and convenient to get anywhere in Montreal. I was traveling with a baby so this was important. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and lots of space to eat and kept refilled constantly. Even had a high chair for my baby. The room was comfortable and good layout. Very happy would 100% stay again!
Not many cooking facilities in the kitchenette, could definitely have used more. Big steps to the entrance which was difficult with baby stroller and luggage but this is typical for decor of Montreal.

Very good location, easy to find. Near to metro and bus station. The room setting is almost perfect. Good ventilation. I wish I could stay more, but definitely would go back. The price worth it. I strongly recommend this Hotel.❤️
It's not that I didn't like it. I just want to recommend to add atleast extra towel on the bed?🙂 And please be mindful on which room did a costumer has reserved. I did a reservation of a Queen bedroom with a City View but I got a bedroom with a building backview😔 I just found out after I look out the next morning, so I didn't have time to complain🙂

Excellent location, just a couple of minutes away from the Berri-UQAM metro station. Close to lots of restaurants on St. Denis. The room was a spacious suite including a full kitchen with fridge. There was a TV, but only had limited channels. Even though it was right next to a busy street, I didn't really notice the noise. The FREE breakfast was more than adequate (including coffee/tea/juice/milk, cereal/oatmeal, eggs/ham/cheese, croissants/toast/muffins/bagels, fresh fruit,). For those that like to complain that the breakfast not good enough, then there is a Tim Hortons or Starbucks or other restaurants nearby where you can pay for whatever you prefer. I was able to extend my stay for an additional three days without having to change rooms.
There was an issue with the toilet, but they managed to fix the flushing handle. Apparently you can use the phone in the room to make free local calls, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. The staff couldn't figure it out either.
