the room had everything that one could need. It was nice to not have to call reception for things like hair dryer, iron, extra towels, coffee and electric jug, etc.

The air conditioning could be better. Even with the thermostat in the room, the temp would stay at 22 regardless of what we would change it to. For all the nights, it got pretty hot at some point. Dont know if it was just the room we got, or the thermostat is just a dummy and the building temperature is controlled by the hotel only.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Everything you need for your stay. Full kitchen with stove, fridge and dishwasher. Room cleaned daily. Shower/bathtub had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Hand soap and body lotion at sink. Breakfast included. Close to all the major attractions. If you love to shop, this is the place to stay. This is my 4th time staying here and I highly recommend.

We we upgraded to a 2-room suite which made our family of 4 (with 2 small kids) much easier to get to bed. It's so difficult to find hotels that will accomodate these needs. They even provided a full-size crib for our infant, which made things so much easier on us.

Very little to say here. The facilities were excellent and the pool entertained our 4-year old each night we were there. The breakfast was adequate but nothing spectacular, just yogurt, cereals, toast, bagels and coffee.

Everything at Le Square Phillips Hotel and Suites exceeded our expectations. We traveled for pleasure but my partner still needs to spend several hours per day focusing on work. The generous rooms gave space to make that happen and the location made it easy for solo wanderings around a very lively and interesting neighborhood. The room itself was very quiet we heard nothing from adjacent rooms or from people passing in the halls. We had a very minor maintenance issue that was reported in person at the front desk and a qualified service person was a the door before we even had time to return to the room and had it solved in minutes. Would 100% book this Hotel and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Since we rented a suite (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room), I can say that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were on a high floor, so were not disturbed by street noise. We were no more than a 15 minute walk from the Montreal Conference Center, so had no trouble getting to our meeting.

The only downside was that the closest supermarket (an IGA) was near the Montreal Conference Center, so we couldn't just run out for things we needed. And nothing seemed to open in Montreal until 7am. I'm used to a city that opens a bit earlier.

Le Square Phillips Hotel & Suites is centrally located about 50 meters from Rue St. Catherine with Eaton Shopping Mall in crawling distance and entry to McGill Metro station. Thus, all one needs is in walking distance. Concierge is super friendly and knowledgeable. A big thanks.

Flexibility to accommodate travel constraints, e.g. early access to rooms or late checkout, is 'limited'. While checking in another couple were given a room while our red-eye arrival made no impression. Ditto on late check out after a stay of more than a week.

The location of the hotel is amazing, such a great convenient location right in the centre of Montreal, easy walking to most places, lots of restaurants and shops on the doorstep, but no noise at all when in your room. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are HUGE and are far better than the photos make them look. The beds are really comfy, the air con great, nice breakfast selection, small pool and sunbathing rooftop terrace, decent gym, and so handy to have washing machine and dryer facilities. Honestly, I could not fault this hotel. We will 100% book to stay here again when we come back to Montreal - and we will, we loved it! :)

Nothing - exception hotel and service!

The room size was big with a fully equipped kitchen and dining table. We have stayed here on our few visits to Montreal over past 5 years and we always recommend this hotel to our friends traveling from the states. We lived around the corner for awhile. This visit we noticed the kitchens and bathrooms have been updated since our last visit 3 yrs ago. We love the location and the newly transformed Phillips Sq is incredible. There was even dancing on the weekend nights that seemed to be impromptu, with someone bringing the music and couples dancing. Lovely. You can take the 747 bus from the airport almost to their door.

The location of the hotel is perfect! It's a short walk from both the bus stop from the airport and the central train station. It is an easy walk to Old Monreal, Mt. Royal, Place de Arts, and several other fun hubs. I would stay here again! The breakfast was perfect for fueling up for a fun day, but not heavy - there are breads, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt... The staff went above and beyond for us. We needed AAA batteries and the maintenance staff gave us some and didn't charge us for them. They were helpful whenever we asked for directions or had any other requests. Highly recommend. The room we had was large and had a little kitchenette so if you were there for a long stay, you could self cater to a lesser extent.

Not much - the lifts were slow and there was only one that went to the fitness center and pool. Also, breakfast can be crowded at peak times. Other than that, the stay was amazing.

Rave review from us! We booked a suite for two nights and were impressed by how spacious—and affordable—it was for the city. Everything was perfect, especially the bed, which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide selection, with excellent coffee and those famous Montreal bagels. On the top floor we enjoyed the pool, fitness center, terrace, and even a coin-operated laundry (washer and dryer are $3 CAD coins each, with small boxes of detergent available at the front desk). One evening we picked up takeout from a nearby restaurant, started our laundry, and relaxed on the terrace with dinner while watching the sunset—such a treat. The location is excellent too: Phillips Square park is just up the street, with shops, restaurants, and Metro stations only a short walk away. Despite being so central, the room was wonderfully quiet. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, with a special shout-out to Joseph, the valet. We truly loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.
