Excellent staff very clean and great neighborhood.

Warm water takes a while in shower and no water pressure in sink. Minor compared to wonderful staff and very clean. Also it is a long walk from central bus station with some bad characters waiting to rob/trick tourists coming off airport bus. Best to take taxi or take metro and get off at closest stop. Still a bit of walk. Take cab.

It was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. There were good restaurants nearby.

I was confused by the payment procedure. If I paid in pesos they were going to charge me tax…I have been traveling in Chile for 6 weeks, paying only with pesos and never had this happen. To avoid this tax, they asked me to pay is USD. I did-then they said they could only give me change in USD but they didn’t have enough and I would have to get my change in snacks (potato chips etc). I asked for my change in pesos and they said it was impossible. The whole thing felt weird, I had never encountered anything like it, and for this I need to say I don’t recommend this hotel. Something is off…

Beautiful small hotel located within walking distance of Plaza de Armas and other central districts. Transport from and to the airport were able to be arranged through the hotel. Very adequate breakfast also provided with a variety of cereals, juices and scrambled eggs made to order. There are small lounge areas on each level and 24 hour access to coffee, tea and water.

Like many buildings, it is not air conditioned - windows were left open and along with the provided fan, it was cool enough.

The hotel, the common areas in the hotel and the bedroom is very clean, neat and tidy. I also like the interior design of the hotel. All of the staffs were friendly, helpful, and very attentive during my stay, which I really appreciate. The staffs also able to speak english, something that I feel very important, coming from a non-spanish speaking country. From before my arrival to Santiago until my departure, the hotel staffs assisted all my needs and supported me with guidance about the hotel and my pick-up requests. The hotel is located a bit far from the centre, but also near to some tourist hidden gems including very near to President Boric's residence! The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, good for resting. They serve juice, coffee and tea all day long, I think it's a nice gesture for the guests.

The air ventilation in the bathroom of the room I stayed did not working properly somehow, so it made the bathroom a bit damp for a longer period.

The employees of the hotel made our stay a fantastic experience. The daytime manager answered all of the many questions we had and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the bus terminal and finding the right transportation connections to Vina del Mar and Valporaiso, she was very kind to us. I especially want to highlight Juan for the fantastic service he provided to us. On the day we checked out, we asked how we would be able to get to terminal for our overnight bus from Santiago to Puerto Montt. He kindly offered to take care of this for us and assured us he would contact several different taxi services to find us the best (and cheapest) option. Further complicating the situation, our bus ticket did not list the departure terminal. When we got back to the hotel from our tour of the city, he had tracked down which terminal in the city our bus was leaving out of. Our tour of the city ran late and we only had a very short amount of time to get to the bus terminal which would have made for a really stressful experience but Juan tried every taxi service and app available until he found one that could take us over right away despite it being rush hour and taxis being few and far between. He was reassuring that everything would be okay for getting us to our bus and his strong English skills were appreciated. Without his exceptional effort to help us, we would have certainly missed our overnight bus to Puerto Montt severely setting back the timeline for rest of our vacation in Chile. We are grateful to Juan for going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I also really liked the layout of the hotel, it was cozy and had a nice feel. The breakfast was very good! I will request to stay at this hotel on any future stays in Santiago.

I had a great experience and have no real complaints.

Super attentive staff, comfortable hotel, decent breakfast. We had to switch rooms as there was quite a lot of street noise in our original room, but the staff were super accommodating and found a good solution for us. Would recommend, but bear in mind that it is located on a busy traffic street, and as it is an old house the sound insulation is not the best.

The most perfect little boutique hotel in Santiago! Exceptional attention by the staff, very comfortable and clean rooms and beds, great location: very safe part of the city with great public transport, lovely Barrio Yungay! Breakfast included, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juices freely available 24h. 12.00 check-out available, luggage storage, 24h reception. Baby cods available. Tasteful deco and details, great lighting, all newly refurbished and well maintened. Our family could not have been happier at Casa Aure! We stayed there twice, totalling 4 nights and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Five stars all the way, without hesitation. The nice breakfast was a bonus to everything else about this lovely little hotel. Clean, smart, well furnished, in a very pleasant neighbourhood and with the best welcome from the owners and staff. We were so pleased to be here on our final night of our 8 week travels through Chile. The area is all low level buildings and with a few decent little restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Hotel Casa Aure clearly has a successful future ahead of it. Well done everyone, I am smiling as I write this :-)

I can't think of anything that could be improved.

Location and breakfast options were great. Hotel is charming, situated in a beautiful historic building which has been recently renovated. Super clean with quality furnishings. Great dining options close by and walkable to sights. We felt safe walking during day and in the evening. We booked a room with balcony with was light and breezy.

The hotel sends many automated messages and warnings which seemed rather over the top and unnecessary. Also, as others have mentioned guests are provided with a key to entrance door, so it needs to be opened manually by staff.

This is a beautiful building with lovely decor and furnishings. We booked a "balcony" room which exceeded our expectations, and it was just a few dollars more than the standard room. An extra bonus was the coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks (fruit) that was available at all hours. The complimentary breakfast included meats, fruit, cereals, and scrambled eggs made to order. The staff were amazing and some even spoke English fluently.
