helpful staff and cozy hotel. rooms are okay and there are even sometimes small little candies from the cleaning staff. very nice concept with boutique character. breakfast was good and had a decent selection. all day free coffee and tea. as well as free wine tasting in the evening. location is good and close to subway, bus and you easily find a taxi around the corner. you could even walk to the bus terminal and train station (no it is not more dangerous as everywhere else in the world).

no sound insulation. you can hear everything within hotel and from outside. on weekends there was loud music on the street

The hotel has been beautifully restored & the interior & room décor was to a very high standard. The staff where very helpful & spoke good English & were able to assist with some trips.

The location was great, but the proximity to what was a party venue a little further down the street will be an issue for some people & I did find the loud music that went on late spoilt my stay. The whole area is waiting for redevelopment so some of the streets are empty with boarded up buildings which gave the whole area an edgy feel.

I thought that the staff were exceptional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and meals were good, you could get coffee downstairs if you wanted it. I liked the location in an older and quiet neighbourhood. It's a nice and not too long a walk to Constitution Square and the Plaza de Armas and its not too far from Republica metro or a major bus terminal. The hotel is modern and fresh.

Nothing worth mentioning.

The minute I checked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, and warm. He showed me the room and made sure I'm comfortable with the room switches, bathroom water temperature control etc. The breakfast was great. I had a tour the following morning and early pickup but they made the time to serve breakfast before pickup time. who would do that. They even had my laundry done which I'm pretty sure they just made it happen. there was a young lady on my final breakfast who again made sure my breakfast was a nice experience. thanks young lady! I shall be back! :)

The building is very nice, the street itself is charming but abandoned. It is 15 minutes walk to Plaza des Armas. Rooms are clean but really tiny and lot of them have windows that faced to the corridor, so if you don't want other guests to look into your room, you can't open them, which means it is like you have no window. The breakfast is good and there is a wine testing in the evening.

Too small rooms, lack of real windows in the room. Overpriced.

It's a nice hotel, with nice staff. I liked the free wine every night.

There's no elevator and the reception is on -1 level so there's a lot of walking. It might be a problem for some. I had no hot water in the shower for 2 days. They didn't solve it right away when I complained, so the next day I had an unpleasant surprise again. The neighborhood is pretty but there's almost nothing around in terms of bars etc.

The location was great, we walked to everything we wanted to see and some decent restaurants were right down the street. The room was comfortable with working AC. Breakfast was the best we've had while traveling through Chile.

Our room was a little noisey. It's an older building and we could hear partying in the streets. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room off the street.

Th service was excellent, all members of the staff very friendly and helpful. rooms are very small, struggled with placing two suitcases anywhere, but over all a brilliant little hotel in a nice location, just outside the city centre, but walkable dictance to everywhere. great idea with the free glass of wine between 7 - 8pm!

Good clean hotel. Very close to the metro for access to the city. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is built within a lovely old style building and surrounded by buildings of a similar age. A shame the students in the area are to keen to graffiti these lovely old buildings.

The staff are wonderful. 7 week trip and the first to offer us a cold or hot drink on arrival and an early check in. Afternoon tea and wine hour complimentary fab. A few pounds in Uber to the restaurants and bars.

The area is sooooo quiet you need Uber to lively places
