Can't beat the price! Cute room, clean, comfortable bed, great shower. I was on the top floor and it was very quiet. Great location, but you would want to use taxis after dark, daytime traffic is business people headed for work. Very close to bars and restaurants in Lastarria (croissants at Cafe Trieste!) and the downtown area, close to the downtown historical area, the lovely park Cerro Santa Lucia, and to a metro station. Very nice staff. There is a breakfast cafe a few doors down, in case you need to grab something quick before a tour. There are 2 more Sommelier Hotels (different names and higher prices) within a few blocks, so be specific about the address.

I was happy with everything, but will note for others: there is no common area, and there's no breakfast or coffee, although the room has a refrigerator. You notify the front desk if you would like a room cleaning or fresh towels. This appears to be a gentrifying neighborhood (with several high-end hotels), so there are some adult stores scattered in with the usual businesses. This place does rent rooms for short term---$30 for 3 hours. I never saw or heard any negative effects from that fact, in fact I don't think anyone else stayed on my floor the entire week. Laundry services two blocks away.

I did not like downtown Santiago. There was lots of graffiti everywhere and the area did not feel very safe to me. I was advised to not be on the streets in this area after about 9:00 p.m. I noticed after 9:00 p.m. there were very few people on the streets, in this area. Also, while waiting for my Uber at about 4:00 in the morning, to catch my international flight, the hotel staff saw me on their cameras and came outside and told me "put your phone away or you're going to get robbed". I loved the hotel rooms, but the area was sketchy. Would I stay here again? Perhaps, because I liked the hotel, but I would definitely look into a safer neighborhood, first.

Located on a very quiet street (compared to the nearby streets) and only one short block to San Lucia Hill and 10 minutes walk to Plaza de Armas and 15 minutes to Mercado Central. Luggages can be dropped off before checkin and stored after checkout. We were cruisers, departed from ship in Valparaiso at 8 am, private van to the hotel at 10 am, dropped off luggages, walked around to visits, came back at 3 pm to checkin. Next day checked out (can be 12 noon), left baggages until came back to retrieved at 5 pm, then hotel arranged taxi to airport.

Not really anything. Used Google translate. For Chile pesos, ATM (next door and everywhere) charged high exchange rate (need to use cards with reimbursed charge).

The location to explore Santiago was excellent. I read some previous reviews about the location being unsafe, but we didn't experience any issues neither at night or day (mind you we were two guys). I liked the urban style of the room and a relatively large bathroom. The kind-size bed we had was very comfortable.

It's a bit unusual to charge for coffee in the room (also quite expensive, considering you can get a proper coffee for the same price in the cafe downstairs adjacent to the hotel). There was no tea provided either.

Fantastic shower, clean bathroom and very comfortable bed, wish we could have stayed longer than a night. Loved the decor. Location seemed quite central, and just right next door is a cafe with great coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful, even with some language barriers we had no issues getting assistance.

Slightly tight room, especially if travelling with many pieces of luggage. Not much room or hooks to hang clothes.

Perfect place to stay in the center of the city, close to all major sights. The place has an edgy vibe and is very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Relative to the overall good value, I felt a bit nickeled and dimed having to pay an extra $40 just to check in a few hours early for a nap and a shower after a long intercontinental flight.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Furnishing were all metal based, so if wood your preference, beware.

Multiples time during our short stay there was a very loud buzzing/rumbling noise. Our AC also stopped working multiple times and it seemed linked to the noise. One night the noise was so bad, we slept without A/C because it was better than having to deal with the noise. Also, everything in the room cost extra(tea, water, coffee, etc) and there were many extra fees for things like getting the sheets dirty.

The hotel was clean and good value for money. It was located near St Lucia hill, which had good food spots. The staff were very helpful, especially when we made an error in booking an needed to extended our stay by a day. Overall me and my partner really enjoyed this hotel.

The Main Street the hotel is located on felt a little run down, but when you walk towards the St Lucia hill it felt more lively. (Not the hotels fault just an observation). The A/C unit was a little noisy at night, but we switched it off so wasn’t an issue

This hotel is INCREDIBLE! The rooms, lounge areas and view from the rooftop lounge is OUTSTANDING! The hotel is decorated with the style of Valparaiso in mind. The staff is very kind and all spoke English. The breakfast is PLENTIFUL and DELICIOUS! This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed and I have stayed in a lot of hotels.

The food menu in the lounge is very limited.

The bed is amazing, super large. the pillows are also awesome. the water is hot and bathroom is very good. The staff also is very prepared and quickly helped us in everything we needed, from phone calls to book transfers to corkscrews

the internet connection is really (I mean really) bad. If you plan to work from here, you should consider somewhere else. Even YouTube on television struggles to reach 480-720p. Sometimes sending a WhatsApp message wasn’t working. Also the air conditioning system on our bedroom wasn’t so good, every night even when we set the temperature in 21 grades Celsius it was still hot
