The location. it was near the Santa Lucia hill and very cute restaurants and bars around. Loved the live music at the attached bar!! Entertainment was wonderful!!

The first night I hadn’t changed money yet so they told me I could eat in the bar and charge it to the room but to my surprise they charged me $27 for 2 white wines and French Fries. I had to confront them and they lowered it to a more acceptable $19. Still high for a local bar. Then after I paid last night and checking out today they told me I owed another $21 because I paid for the room in pesos. I had already calculated my money to have enough for the trip to the airport and this messed things up. Not good business!!

I give 9 for value for money. The room could be smarter and the bathroom needs refurbishing but everything worked and was clean and comfortable. The area with the beds in was small but there was a separate seating area with sofa and tv and a large wardrobe so actually plenty of space. Breakfast was also fine. A set meal so don't expect an endless buffet. We were given coffee, orange juice, toast, jam, some ham and cheese and scrambled eggs. Same every day but considering how cheap the room was, we're not complaining. Great location, an easy walk from the historic centre with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Overall this was great value for money. We would stay here again.

Nothing wrong - based on the price. If you want more luxury then you have to pay more elsewhere.

Breakfast was good, very clean rooms, staff was nice. Be mindful that the breakfast is a 'set menu', it's not a self-service buffet thing. The hotel has 6 floors with rooms but there's an elevator. And the restaurant/breakfast area is in the last floor (7th). Staff makes a lot of effort to communicate and help.

Internet wifi almost never worked though the one week I stayed there. There is noise from the live music at the bar, which might disrupt some people's sleep but it personally didn't affect me that much.

I liked the location, was within walking distance of all the central areas and there was a metro station nearby. Although the area seemed nice and I had no issues, I was advised to be extra careful for safety during the dark hours. The breakfast was small but nice: as long as it includes eggs, I'm satisfied. Tip for non-Chileans: If you pay with dollars in cash, you don't have to pay extra VAT, which is 19%.

Not much, probably needs some renovation. Some English-language TV channels would have been nice.

The hotel is placed at a few blocks from a subway station. Rooms are very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. In addition, it is extremely pleasant to have a good time in the hotel restaurant at the 7th floor or in the hotel bar in the 1st floor.

Sometimes the wifi signal was not strong enough. This is something to check.

Good location to walk around the city & for dinner in Lastarria or Bella Vista. Lovely big room overlooking Cerro San Lucia. Nearly all of the staff were really friendly & helpful. The hotel had character. I like hotels like this. We slept well. Bed was comfortable. There was some noise from the piano on the floor directly above us on Fri & Sat night but it stopped at midnight. It was quiet other nights.

The location cannot be beat. It's in the middle of Lastarria, a beautiful bario in Santiago with lots of restaurants and cafe's at its doorstep, museums just a walk away and Santa Lucia across the street. The staff are super lovely on top of that.

As much as i loved my stay, the hotel is in seriously needs some updating. Investing in some sound proof windows would also be preferable. You can literally hear everything people say on the street. And the bar that's just downstairs is super loud on Thursdays and Fridays

The location, close to an area with with several restaurants (try Liguria), the Santa Lucia hill and the Plaza de armas. Rooms are pleasant with semi antique furniture

Foresta is a charming, old fashioned hotel, which is in dire need of renovation (wall paper peeling off, bathrooms with cracks).

They let us check in a bit earlier than expected and were very helpful considering we had 2 bikes in boxes. Room was larger than expected too. Baggage storage until our return back to Santiago is also a big plus and the reason we chose them. The breakfast was nice and the views were good. It's also a great part of town close to plenty of cafes. The guys working there were very helpful at all times.

Excellent location, felt safe, didn't mind the street traffic and noise. Cozy atmosphere, bar upstairs was wonderful. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

Toilet had a broken handle. We accidentally left something in the room and tried to follow up with hotel staff and housekeeping after checkout but they didn't get back to us about it unfortunately.
