Location Location. We changed our booking to this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend from Santiago. This is a great area. There are so many cafes and restaurants and art galleries all around. Ice crem too. We went to the Sunday market and bought some great presents. There are two Metro stations nearby, so travelling around Santiago is easy. Right opposite the hotel there is the Cerro Santa Lucia which is a hill and park, it is steep to climb, but it has great views of all of Santiago. The hotel is very good, we had a very big room, and it was very clean. Santiago is a really interesting city, worth visiting again, and we would definitely stay here

We were astonished to get a phone call at 9.30am on the morning after our arrival to tell us that breakfast was finishing at 10am but they'd keep it open for a bit longer if we were coming down. So kind of the staff! The breakfasts were tasty and sufficient and the services provided by the hotel were good. The hotel is well located, within easy walking distance or public transport access to the places we wanted to go.

We had a same room on the two occasions we stayed in Hotel Montecarlo and found it very comfortable - lots of room and good facilities. The only downside was that there was a bit of traffic noise - undoubtedly the consequence of staying close to the city centre.

- The walls are quite thin and the windows don't seem to close completely, so I heard noise both from adjacent rooms and the street. Luckily I had great neighbours and not too bad traffic outside, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring some earplugs - The breakfast had almost no healthy options, only the scrambled eggs could count as that. Otherwise cereals or white bread to toast + butter, jam, cheese, ham

location - 15 min walk to old town. 5 min walk to metro. walkable to funicular. good value including buffet breakfast. great communication with staffs as they speak good english. ask the front desk to reserve taxi, much cheaper than reserving from airport or online. They have good heater and hot water which was perfect for this cold winter.

the room is a little outdated and worn out. also the building is close to main road with lots of car so can be noisy for done people.

The hotel is located on a vibrant, arty and packed with restaurants and cafes areas. The hotel itself is in a quiet area. The staff is friendly, 24/7 reception. My room was clean and comfortable and I think it was a great value for money. Breakfast was basic, buffet style, no thrills but exactly what I needed.

The noises from the hallway are pretty loud, it's more about doors being shut loudly, you can hear everything. Rooms are slightly outdated. It felt like I was back in the 90s.

From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff provided exceptional service. Their willingness to store my luggage free of charge on my departure day was greatly appreciated and significantly improved the overall experience. The night shift receptionist's thoughtful safety tips and warm welcome added a personal touch that truly made me feel valued as a guest.

Great location in a small neighborhood close to a university with lots of restaurants, cafes, local crafts, a great health food store nearby, steps away from Cerro Santa Lucia. Safe at night as a solo female traveler. Hotel staff super friendly. Hotel is layed out in a fun funky way. Good wifi, hot showers, good ac. Breakfast is the normal continental...but with eggs.

The Breakfast is a wide good spread .Obliged for the room Occupy well before the Check-in Time , The Saint Lucia Hill tourist spot is just opposite the Hotel , a Metro station is located nearby at 5 min walk.

Hotel located in central area , but not too near ( Not on walking distance) to busy shopping streets and restaurants , need to go by Metro or Cab or a long walk to busy streets. Hotel staff are Spanish mainly, not so proficient in English , but can manage the conversations with phone google translation !

Our room had AC, so we could heat up our room. Shower was hot and the room was big enough. Staff was friendly and helpful, they even allowed us to check in before provided time. Location was good, near the park and restaurants, but it didn't seem safe.

Windows didn't close, so the room was noisy. Breakfast was average - scrambled eggs, cheese, salami and bread.

I stayed there for 12 days, the staff was kind and helpfull with our questions regarding what to visit, where to eat, where to purchase SIM cards. They have 24hr front desk and free parking inside the hotel. The room was quite big and good hot running water. Its located just 2 block away from metro stations, a 24hr convenience store and lots of bars and restaurants.

The hotel is a bit old and the cleanliness could be improved. The breakfast is always the same, minor twists could be nice.
