Location. Absolutely kind and friendly staff. When busy, they should consider having two people preparing the omelettes, but I like their offering overall.

The rooms a little bit outdated. My bathtub was making strange boices and felt like it might crack and breack when. I was taking a shower. Bathtubs are from the past. No one is using them. Shower cabin is much more appreciated.

The metro station is located in the same building as the hotel. The hotel is across the central huge park. I also liked the small gym and met a new friend there wile exercising.

We loved the breakfast. Only a live band was missing :). We were very pleased by the hospitality of the front desk, they helped a lot with all our demands and questions. The rooms were good. During my recent business trip to Shanghai, I had the pleasure of staying at the Dorsett Hotel, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. the hotel’s real advantage lies in its convenience, particularly its direct access to Metro Line 2 right from the lobby entrance. This made commuting across the city incredibly easy and efficient as well as airport train. Another highlight is the hotel’s prime location right next to Century Park, which is perfect for morning runs or leisurely walks. It’s a great way to start the day amidst greenery and fresh air, especially during a busy business trip. The rooms are spacious, big, modern, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and productive stay. I especially appreciated the high-speed internet and the well-designed workspace in the room. The staff at Dorsett Shanghai were exceptionally professional and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Their commitment to service made my stay truly hassle-free. Additionally, the breakfast selection was excellent, offering a variety of both local and international dishes – a great start to busy workdays. Whether you're in Shanghai for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Dorsett Hotel for its comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

I like it being so near to the line 2 metro line. Easy for me to commute around. Besides, the service crew in the hotel was helpful. I called to ask for salt to gargle my mouth(due to sore throat), the front desk was helpful to get a housekeeping lady to send me the needed after the request was made a few minutes later. Thanks for that. One more to add, the free laundry service offered in the hotel, totally like the facility offered!

It’s aging and it’s time to upgrade the room. The water outlet in the shower area needed to be checked as the water was trapped in the shower area and took some time to clear.

Location is great, at Metro line 2 exit, few stops from city center, 45 mins from airport. Staff were nice, but arriving tired, waking up at 8am on maid's noise was unexpected... Breakfast is OK for a few days, mixed asian and limited continental. Room was nice, clean, great bed, huge bathroom, skyscraper view from toilet :) Washer and dryer available for free.

Gym is small, but acceptable for few days. Door could stop more noise from the corridor, but manageable.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic neighborhood. It’s located right across from a large park, perfect for walks. The metro entrance is literally a one-minute walk from the hotel, making it very easy and convenient to reach any part of the city. The breakfasts at the hotel were very pleasant and delicious. Overall, this is a very good choice if you’re looking for a hotel in this area.

We've stayed at this location multiple times. Its location right on top of subway line 2 and across the street from an entrance to Century Park are huge bonuses. Only one subway stop off the PVG Maglev and you're there. Daily visits to the park make for a nice respite to what can be a chaotic city. Get a park view room. Way nicer than a city view. The daily buffet breakfast is worth the extra cost.

Hotel is aging a bit and could use some TLC here and there. Other than that, not much to report.

The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located in a great location right next to the metro station. Opposite the hotel is a beautiful large park with a variety of vegetation, trees. The park is suitable for relaxing, walking, running. The hotel staff is amazing. I had a room with a view of the city and the park. Due to the flight change, they allowed me to check out later, which I am eternally grateful for. I will definitely come back here when visiting Shanghai.

Very close to the Expo, with a shuttle available to reach their for free. Staff knows enough amount of English to help, and is very helpful, i printed some paper, added some stuff to my reservation, and requested some stuff while staying.. all were done smoothly. Specious rooms with comfy bed. Room service is fast, clean, and helpful. Breakfast is nice.

The bathroom in general is meh, and the hygiene products don't smell good. The wardrobe is very small.
