We enjoyed our stay at this place and would recommend it to anyone seeking reasonably priced accommodation in a convenient location close to most of the city's amenities.

The only downside was the extreme noise from the nearby club, which can be challenging to deal with every night. While the breakfast was above average in quality, the seating area was limited, making the experience less comfortable. However, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff were exceptional—far exceeding what you might typically find anywhere in the world.

Super close to everything you would want to experience in Cartagena. 2min walk to the artsy streets of Getsemani with great restaurants and night life, 8min walk to old town. Super convenient as well if you’re doing any tours as is only a 7-10min walk from most meeting points. The staff were so lovely and helped my partner organise the most sweet birthday surprise for me - special shout out to Dora who set up our room, it was beautiful and made my birthday really memorable. The room itself was fantastic, super comfy bed and lovely bathroom, big flat screen tv and air conditioning. Our room was cleaned everyday which was always so nice to come back to after a long day out seeing the city. Breakfast as well was delicious, a spread of fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurts + coffee, tea and juice, as well as eggs cooked to order with bacon and sausage + pancakes. Could not ask for much more!! If you’re heading to Cartagena definitely check out this place to stay, we had such a great experience - thank you again to all the staff!

No complaints at all, it was fantastic!

We loved the location, host and the fact that it was very clean.

First night, we had a room near the reception because we booked last minute and it was very noise because we heard every guest checking in and out, but for the second night they moved us to another room and it was definitely better.

Great place and rooftop

Didn’t let a friend of ours come up to the rooftop for a drink or just to sit around in the daytime even.

Staff were all very kind and helped us with our beginner's Spanish. Our lengthy stay allowed us to get to know them and appreciate their positive attitude and good humour. Our room was very well situated and provided us with very quiet nights even on weekends when Getsemani is in party mode. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room comfortable. We also appreciated the small private balcony where we could relax in the cooling afternoon breeze.

As a general rule, and this applies not only to this hotel, but to many others, there is insufficient space for storing and hanging clothes. Sometimes, it's the small things that make a big difference like providing an adequate number of hooks, hangers and rods to keep the room orderly.

The staff was amazing and super helpful all the time. Breakfast was freshly home made and the lady even improvised when we forgot to register for breakfast the day before and we've been a group of 6 people. She also made special mails for one of us who has many allergies. We also enjoyed the terraces, especially on New Year's Eve while watching the fireworks from the rooftop.

Utilities may need to be renewed. The shower pressure was very low, mostly lukewarm to cold water and we had problems with the toilet flush. Nevertheless everything was very clean and our parents stayed in the luxury room where the shower was working well and the room was really spacious.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean and the location was amazing. It was a 10 minute walk into the walled city which had a lot of shopping and eating options. The staff was very welcoming and overall very polite. Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruits, freshly prepared breads and pastry assortments, freshly squeezed drinks, and freshly prepared American and traditional Colombia breakfast every morning. The view of the city from the hotel was stunning. The jacuzzi was amazing. You get to watch the sun set while enjoying a great view of the downtown Colombian skylines.

I wish the rooms had a mini-fridge, water or teas/coffee, and an iron and ironing board in it would have been really great. I wish there was more closet space, hangers, or drawers available for garments.

Great location, great food, lovely hosts. Very much a family vibe - staff were so accommodating and we were so grateful for all they did. The terrace is really undersold on booking.com, this was a fantastic way to spend some time relaxing from the mayhem on the streets! Candy, Jaime and Gabriel made our stay extremely enjoyable - everyone else was fantastic too, we just didn’t catch the names!

The location was very convenient for me and I appreciated the Terraces with Jacuzzis. The staff was very helpful, accommodating and nice. The decor was great and the room very comfortable.

A very steep staircase I had to ascend and descend to the third level every day but that can be avoided by staying in a room on the second level. Also the noise from the streets outside late at night was a little much but that's life in a lively city.
