The Laureles neighborhood is arguably the most pleasant, safest of the lower part of Medelln, and this hotel is located a few blocks from Nutibara Avenue and 70th street. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well-kept, and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The American-style breakfast included fresh orange juice, eggs, bacon, an arepa, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal if desired, and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The hotel also has a small swimming pool and jacuzzi.

My only complaint about this stay has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but rather with Booking. I reserved through the Copa Airlines website and link, expecting to receive Connect Miles in conjunction with my stay. This didn't happen. I wrote to Booking about this, as the hotel charged me directly and told me to contact Booking for further information. There was no answer.

Located in a nice, fairly quiet, mostly residential neighborhood, this hotel has a lot of little touches that enhance guests' comfort, including a ramp up to the door; a remarkably quick elevator; a big breakfast area; even a (small) swimming pool and sauna. Everything is modern and functional, including the AC. The breakfast was good and abundant. And all for a very reasonable price.

Shortly after reserving, the hotel notified us that due to a gas outage in the vicinity, there would be no hot water. Since the weather was warm it hardly mattered, and we appreciated the notification.

Very clean, great location in Laureles, good beds, breakfast, great staff. Safe, lovely area near restos, stores, parks. Pool is great though the jacuzzi and pool are connected to same heating system so jacuzzi same temp as pool - warm not spa-very hot. But lovely. Love 24 hr coffee access.

I've stayed twice in this location and every time I visit Medellin, I always pick it because of the facilities, location, breakfast options, and the residential area ( very secure and peaceful).

Probably the one thing I don't like but I can handle it is the speed of internet connection. It's no bad but you need to be patient of it. Besides that, the place is a good spot to spend your vacations/work days in Medellin.

Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. The pool, hot tub and sauna were nice. I enjoyed the boutique style of the hotel and even thought the room was not too big it was spacious enough for the two of us. The two girls that work at the front desk were very nice, I needed help getting a surprise gift for my fiancé, for Valentine's Day and they both were very helpful. Also, the housekeeping woman that made coffee for my fiancé was nice and accommodating. Location was very good. Overall, we had a great stay at Brana Hotel, would definitely recommend and go again.

Even thought the WIFI was working in our phones, it did not seem to work in the Smart TV we had in our room. We could not use the Smart TV the whole time we were there.

We had fantastic time in Brana Hotel. The location is perfect and safe. So many restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel provides good price taxi service. The staff Luisa and John were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The breakfasts were very nice, generous and everyday something different. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, however the jacuzzi is always occupied and people sit in it for hours without considering other people waiting. Rooms are situated around the pool, so it's very noisy, but it closes at 9 and the area becomes very peaceful. Room and bathroom was spotless, bed very comfy, Air-conditioning was running very smooth. Would be great if there was a small lamp, as the main light is very bright. I really recommend the place for an easy, pleasant and safe stay. I also recommend for Spanish speaking visitors to book one of the tours with the hotel. Memorable experience packed with so many attractions, it's almost hard to believe you can get for this price:)

Everything was great

+ location was great, lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood + it was possible to store our luggage the day of our check-out without any additional charge + even though most of the employees do not speak English, they tried to help us the best they could

- the hotel itself is rather noisy, especially when breakfast starts or when people check in/out - it would be nice if the pool had some sunbeds to lay in the sun, instead of only chairs

The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet area. Within a 10 minute walk we found two vegan/vegetarian restaurants which were delicious, One was called Naturalia Cafe and the other one Ina. It's very close to a metro station. Overall it's a very good place to stay.

Great value for money in a great neighbourhood. Plenty of eating options nearby. Laureles hands down beats Problado. Breakfast was a good start to the day.

Bed side light would have been good. Bit of a hike to metro station Estadio.

Great location - nice, safe, quiet neighborhood with several restaurants and shops in walking distance. It is a bit far from Jose Maria Cordova airport (Taxi costed 90 000, but if you have time and you like to walk its possible to take a bus for 10 000 pp to San Diego mall and from there you can walk to Pueblito Paisa and then to the hotel, which is a nice walk with a lot of restaurants on the way) Clean spacious room with cable TV and wifi Nice, helpful staff You can book various tours directly on the reception for standard prices (if you want to pay with card there is an additional fee of 5%) Nice pool with a whirlpool
